I got a pizza from this restaurant and I thought it was pretty good. I enjoyed it. It was nice and thin. All of the components of the pizza tasted good. It was open pretty late and they sell a lot of beer and other beverages. You can buy a bunch of individual cans of beer which is pretty cool. I will come back to this place because it's not too expensive and if I make a detour and stop by this restaurant while I am coming home I can catch a more direct bus home. First of all, let me say that this is my 3rd visit in the past 5 years -- I come here when I'm in town during an annual trip (would have been 5 for 5 if not for the Covid pandemic.) I keep coming back to this place for the convenient location close to the Philadelphia Convention Center, and the no-frills, straight-to-the-point cheesesteak. I was curious to see if they were still in business since the Corona virus pandemic began more than 2 years ago. I ordered 2 Chicken cheesesteaks with provolone cheese, to-go. Cheese is priced as an "add on" item -- I don't remember what the menu looked last time I visited so not sure if this was a recent menu change (due to inflation?). Luckily, I asked for a receipt and that's how I was able to catch that the cashier put in my order incorrectly as Beef cheesesteaks with provolone cheese. There is a low chance that I ordered incorrectly as I do not eat beef; and have not done so for many years now. The manager (but I assume he was the owner) was onsite and quickly went to the kitchen to ask the 3-person kitchen staff to manually override the printed order when he heard what happened. I was impressed with his speed to correct the problem and felt assured. I did not feel it was necessary to check my food when it was in my possession prior to leaving the pizza shop. I was wrong. It was not until later, long after I had left the shop that I discovered the cheese that I paid for was not added to either of my sandwiches. My friend that accompanied me had the same thing happen to his order. When we visited on a Sunday afternoon, there was only 1 other customer in the shop when we stepped inside, already halfway through dining. I understand mistakes happen -- but two different errors to both sandwiches in my order. And to two separate orders. They need to work on their accuracy... Annoyed I paid for something I never received. Disappointed with the taste because is it really a Philadelphia cheesesteak without the cheese?? Not sure I would come back here next time I'm in town... Was going to give 3 Stars but then decided on 4 Stars instead: I could eat the sandwich without the cheese, but if they made it with beef then I wouldn't have been able to eat it at all!!
