    Mojito and ?
    Lexie K.

The service was non existent and the food was inedible. The mojito was just limeade with little to no alcohol. The nachos were the only good thing of the whole experience. Ordered the nachos as an appetizer but all food came out at the same time. The eggplant parm came out first and she didn't acknowledge us when she put the food on the table. The burger was so overly salted that it was inedible. All three at the table agreed. I've never done this before but I sent it back because it was so beyond edible.

One of our few ventures out in Philly was to the spring event known as the Punk Rock Flea Market. While it was a cacophony of visual sights and sounds, I craved a quiet corner of a bar. We walked uphill to Mix. 1. After ordering 2 Bloody Mary's, 20 minutes later, we were told they "don't do" them. Only the 2nd time in my 68 years of hearing this. Bah. But they had hand mixed Sangria. Not bad. 2. We ordered 2 sandwiches, a BLT & and chicken Parm. The BLT was good. But instead of bringing the sandwich, we got the platter. Oops. Time for a 2nd Sangria. Waited.. Waited.. Waited.. Finally, it came. With good fries. Not bad, but ended up taking 1/2 home because, well ..waited.. Our server was new, so we tipped extra so as not to discourage her. It was mediocre at best. Decent seating for Fat folks. And a 1st floor bathroom, so no schlepping down a flight of stairs. Possibly would not return. But at least they had regular sandwiches. Not everything, everywhere all at once, has to be a hoagie.

Different cheesesteak #1056 in the last five years. This was a Christmas miracle!! AND the best cheesesteak your dad would never eat!! I saw an instagram post that they were open Christmas eve and that I should come watch the Eagles game with them. I went. I am glad I did. I got the Ultimate Mix Cheesesteak. Awesomeness on a roll. Red onions, cherry peppers, mushrooms, steak sauce, spinach, cheddar (very good change of pace cheese), balsamic vinaigrette, house garlic sauce. Soft hoagie roll, I would have liked a sturdier roll. $12 and comes with fries. If Mix had parking they would see me a lot more.

Ehhhhhhh my review is a bit "Mixed" here *joke drum roll* Food: me and my friends shared food (nachos, pizza, salad, etc.) The bar food was good. Not spectacular but worth the money Drinks: NOT IT. Lacked taste, and spirits for the price. Location: right off of chestnut so downtown parking is always hit or miss. But the spot itself is a good spot to watch a game with a beer and a slice of pizza so I wont go too hard on them

Great pizza and food! Great happy hour! Great atmosphere! My favorite spot to sit outside, have a slice and relax :) Picture shows the outdoor seating and the beautiful falafel hummus platter!

They need to fix their a.c.. It was unacceptably hot! The big fans blowing hot air at you are gross. Very sweet overly parsley garlic parm wings were a 2 star. Almost completely empty flavorless Philly cheese steaks were a 1 star. Sweet limp fries that needed a lot of salt were a 1 star. We gave them to a homeless man. Chicken tenders were juicy and great. They were a 3 star.

5 Stars for the staff and food. They were amazing. The management needs to get AC fixed tho, it's hard to really enjoy eating in there in 90 degree weather -3 stars just for that... get it fixed please

Haven't been here in a few years but the pizza is still good. I had takeout but there is plenty of indoor seating. The cashier was cool and I received the pizza quickly. I bought 2 slices and it came to $6.50, Apple Pay is not accepted ( cash or card)

    Greek salad

After walking around all day I just wanted somewhere to sit and something healthy to eat. I had been craving a Greek salad and stumbled upon this spot. Luckily we arrive prior to the dinner crowds and were able to veg a cute spot in one of the Covid cubes (not sure exactly what they are called). It was nice to be out of the chilly air and even better that each little cube was separated by a barrier from tables next to it, as well as each had their own heat lamp! The salad was great, exactly what I was looking for. Very generous on the feta. Also ordered the garlic knots, which complimented the salad nicely. Because we didn't go into the restaurant we didn't realize that we could have ordered pizza by the slice. I kept smelling the Buffalo chicken pizza from the table next door and couldn't commit to a full pie. A slice would have been perfect! Great neighborhood spot, excellent service, and good food!

While I might choose another place for takeout, when the goal is a night of pizza, wine, great atmosphere, and authentic neighborhood vibes, this is usually where we end up. The space is bright, industrial, airy, and thoughtfully designed but unforced. White walls, warm wood, considered lighting, and a floor plan with real breathing room. The vibe recalls Bucktown, Wicker Park, Williamsburg, and Greenpoint: design-forward but genuinely local. There's a great bar, and booths near the kitchen with glass windows that let you watch the staff. Our three-year-old was mesmerized, and the staff was warm and playful, smiling and waving while they cooked. A small detail, but memorable. The crowd feels local. Good music, friendly people, hip but never pretentious. It's just a fun place to be with great service, too. The food is outstanding. We usually order the chicories caesar with grana padano and breadcrumbs, and the lettuce salad with shaved vegetables and creamy oregano dressing. For pizza, we love the arrabbiata (the Angry pie) and tomato pie with sausage and pickled chilies. My wife enjoys the ice cream. A note on bringing kids: I don't think this is a family restaurant, but if your kids are curious and well-behaved, it's absolutely worth bringing them earlier in the evening. We've gone around 4:30 or 5:00 on weekends and always felt comfortable. One time, our daughter had a full meltdown, and we were mortified, but the staff couldn't have been cooler. They packed everything to go, kindly and without any judgment. That kind of grace is hard to fake, and it genuinely stuck with us. Pricing is fair for the quality of the food and the experience. Places like this can seem overrated or overpriced, but this one doesn't. It offers real value for a memorable night out. The whole restaurant feels like a microcosm of Philadelphia's progressive, creative side. There's real ambition behind it, but it still feels human and grounded, nothing sterile, nothing corporate, nothing over-engineered. Just smart people building a cool neighborhood place that others actually want to spend time in. Oh, and make a reservation. Great spot, Joe. We'll be back soon. Thank you!

The hostess took our coats (a nice touch!) and then a rotation of two servers explained the specials and we ordered. I love that the menu is on the shorter side and they rotate the pizza offerings, so even if you're visiting on a regular basis, you'll always be able to try something new. Additionally, when a menu is only about 2 pages, you know everything on those two pages is top notch, as was the case at Pizzeria Beddia. This evening we got the meatballs (didn't take a photo, was too excited, but they were HUGE and excellent) and the beef, pork and veal balls with a rich red sauce was outstanding. Came in an order of 2 but one was plenty for each of us. The Pizza we got had potatoes on it, and we added sausage per the servers recommendation, and it was cooked perfectly and all of the flavors blended so well together. We are so lucky to have an amazing (and nationally recognized!) pizza spot in the neighborhood and it's always nice when you can walk in without a reservation from time to time.

EXCELLENT LATE-NIGHT STOP! MUST TRY!…read more We walked in about an hour before closing on a Thursday night--never an ideal entrance. You know the look. The polite smile that says "it's fine" while the eyes say "it is absolutely not." Totally understandable. No one loves a near-close order. I even acknowledged it out loud--apologized, explained we weren't from the area, and that we were just trying to grab a quick bite because it was one of the few places still open. She said it was okay. Her face said otherwise. Fair enough. Here's where it turned around. The pizza came out hot, fresh, and legitimately impressive. Not "good for late night" good--just plain good. Every bite was fresh, the ingredients tasted clean, and the pizza clearly hadn't been rushed or phoned in despite the timing. Hunger probably helped, but even factoring that out, this was a standout. Honestly, I was kicking myself for not ordering an extra one to go before leaving the city. That's how good it was. We did try to get drinks, but were told the soda machine was down. The nozzles were off, so I'm guessing it was a cleaning/end-of-night thing. I won't ding them for it--though let's be real, tossing nozzles in sanitizer isn't exactly a marathon. Still, not a deal-breaker. Restaurant was clean, but of course, they were near closing. I tipped her a few bucks for staying late, and left genuinely satisfied. Bottom line: the food carried this experience completely. If you're visiting Philadelphia and need a reliable, fresh, late-night bite, &Pizza is absolutely worth the stop. Sometimes the places you expect the least end up delivering the most. I plan to 100000% return (and it'll probably be near closing time again, too)
