My husband and I celebrated our 15 year anniversary at Rex's. On our reservation, my husband noted that our wedding cake was a Rum cake and we rarely get it, but if they could make one it would be appreciated. (We ask every year) Not expecting them to honor it because it's a BIG ASK in food service - they went ABOVE AND BEYOND. We were given champagne and they made a rum cake for us! We were crying with gratitude, the hostesses and wait staff were crying, and it will be an anniversary to remember. The ambiance and decor was edgy and modern. You could actually have a conversation while it not being too quiet or too loud. Oh and the food was fantastic! We ordered crispy rice cabbage salad () a patty melt, Khao Soi, and two cocktails. Unbelievable quality. Even better service! Our waitress, Parker, was knowledgable about everything on the menu, suggested the fries (don't skip those), and very attentive. We will be back. read more

Oh. My. Gosh. Love love love. Little Rock doesn't have a place like this right now. A place with several different options that cater to everybody, but also that hit the mark every time. I ate the Khao Soi and let me tell ya, wow. I love a curry, but struggle to find one that isn't insanely spicy and this coconut curry was so flavorful and delicious without setting my mouth on fire. Lots of textures and flavors and so good. The Pad Kra Pow and Rangoon Dip were great as well. I've told everyone who will listen about it since I was there 2 days ago hahaha The bartenders are so fun and service is phenomenal. read more

Tried this place for the first time today and absolutely loved it! The menu can seem like a large range of food items but it's all so so good. There are a lot of Asian fusion items, Thai food, and classic diner items. I got the meatloaf and mashed potatoes - it came out hot and so so delicious. My boyfriend got the Curry Kimchi Schnitzel and that was also superrr good! We worried that it might be heavy but it was perfect. It was also such a large portion! We also ordered the calamari for an appetizer and it was delicious and perfectly cooked! Highly recommend giving this place a try! Rating a 3.5 for now. Cool spot for a quick date night or one or two girlfriends night out for drinks. Atmosphere/Service: Okay art and cool atmosphere. No loud music so you can talk to and hear your guest. Some of the seating is family style and some individual which is cool. Drinks are amazing and staff is attentive so which made it great service! Food: Menu concept has a variety of food items. It has more Asian flare but also has a few items from other food cultures. Not quite a home run with all. The Appetizers we selected were good. I like the spin on the desconstructed crab Rangoon. It was really tasty and adding the cheese on top gave it a unique taste. The chicken wings were perfectly fried but sauce is required to develop taste. Which is fine if they were going for Korean Type fried wings. Dipping sauces were okay, chile lime is refreshing but not made for fried wings. Gochujang sauce was good and sweet chili heat were fine-Flavors were just as good as a store bought bottle. I was excited to try the crab fried rice but I found it to be dry and the flavor bland. It needed more vibrant veggies. The veggies were cut tiny so the flavors didn't come through like the roasted corn inside or the scallions. I couldn't taste they were in the rice. The "blue crab" was almost invisible. However if you use the sweet chili sauce on the rice it gives it a punch! Portion sizes were large-some too large. And usually that's a sign the food is probably not that great. Chicken Kimchi Stacker-The kimchi on the chicken sandwich was great but couldn't completely deliver enough flavor for the double fried bland chicken. It needed a special sauce to give it a kick. As for the entrees, we wrapped them up for take home. I added more scallions and rice vinegar and a touch of lite soy sauce to the fried rice. And I would probably go back to try other items. I would definitely return for the bar, and great Rangoon dip! Overall, No explosion or burst of flavors but it is well prepared and well presented food with a great staff. read more

Rex's absolutely delivered on their Indian-Thai fusion concept. The Pad Kra Pao was delightful, packing a perfectly balanced spicy kick while the meat and vegetables were cooked beautifully -- fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor. We also tried the tikka masala schnitzel, which was a generous portion and just as delicious as it was creative. The sauce had rich depth, bold spice, and paired surprisingly well with the crisp schnitzel. Such a great restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. We had two babies with us and managed to spill two glasses of water, but at no point did anyone make us feel like we were a bother. The crab Rangoon dip was an absolute 10/10 and a must-try. The cocktails were some of the best I've had in Little Rock, and every dish we ordered was fantastic. The vibes were also great. Loved that it felt like an experience! We happened upon Rex's while driving thru. It was worth the stop! It's a cute little place with incredible food. We started with the bang bang cauliflower which was perfectly spicy, k bbq popcorn chicken which was top notch, and the seasoned cheese curds which balanced the other two. The green curry was light and perfect. The cheddar bacon burger with the tomato jam was amazing. We will definitely be back! read more

The food is incredible. Tikka Masala Schnitzel was delicious. The sauce was extremely flavorful and the schnitzel was perfectly crisp. The crab rangoon dip and calamari are a must try! Then when you thought it could not get better the Thai tea cheesecake was probably the best dessert I've ever had. The staff was so nice and attentive to our large party. It was a mixture of overcooked mushy rice with undercooked grains that had the texture of chalk. I'm shocked no one checked the rice, but it was awful and totally ruined it for me. I know Rex isn't an Asian restaurant, but if it's going to serve a Thai dish like Pad Kra Pow, it needs to get the rice right. read more

Found out this new business is here, wanted to give it a try. We were seated quickly, service was fast and great. Ambience of this place was very calming.
