First time at Rex's today and was highly impressed! The staff, atmosphere, and food were all stellar. Parker was an excellent waitress. When it comes to Arkansas and foreign foods, I think we need to do better than just our southern salt and pepper seasoning. Bring on the Thai spices!! The pad kra was good, I'll give it a 7/10. It needed more of a Thai punch. I get it, people here have a soft palate but come on lol. I added some extra gochujang, chili flakes, and Thai chili to elevate it and all that made it work. Those wings though are outstanding! Extra crispy and hot to order. I prefer wet wings but the fun does come into the dipping process and their sauces. The burger looked fantastic and tasted good. The bun just doesn't stand a chance, it'll become moist from the heat and not stand on its own. But I still give that a 7/10. I am eager to come back and try other things. Their kimchi gravy schnitzel is something I want to try soon. Will be back for sure!

We had heard wonderful things about this restaurant and decided to reserve a table on our anniversary and it certainly did not disappoint. Every thing we got was absolutely delicious. The service was incredible, the staff worked together like a well oiled machine AND they were all happy and appeared to love their jobs. I highly recommend this restaurant the setting was great, everything WAS FANTASTIC and we will be back.

Food, drinks, service and atmosphere was 10 out ot 10. Everything was balanced. Not too much of anything just simple perfection. This is a different flavor for my mouth. I was so confused but in a great way. I can taste every ingredients in this drink and there is not one overpowering the other. The bartender is dope! He has to be a mixologist. Simple perfection

Oh. My. Gosh. Love love love. Little Rock doesn't have a place like this right now. A place with several different options that cater to everybody, but also that hit the mark every time. I ate the Khao Soi and let me tell ya, wow. I love a curry, but struggle to find one that isn't insanely spicy and this coconut curry was so flavorful and delicious without setting my mouth on fire. Lots of textures and flavors and so good. The Pad Kra Pow and Rangoon Dip were great as well. I've told everyone who will listen about it since I was there 2 days ago hahaha The bartenders are so fun and service is phenomenal.

Got the crab Rangoon dip which was amazing. I got the garlic spinach schnitzel which was cooked really well but needed more seasoning. My boyfriend got the patty melt. The the jalapeños in the sauce were really good, but the burger itself needed more seasoning. We had to wait 45 minutes for a table so I would definitely recommend making a reservation, but overall the service was really good and quick.

Rating a 3.5 for now. Cool spot for a quick date night or one or two girlfriends night out for drinks. Atmosphere/Service: Okay art and cool atmosphere. No loud music so you can talk to and hear your guest. Some of the seating is family style and some individual which is cool. Drinks are amazing and staff is attentive so which made it great service! Food: Menu concept has a variety of food items. It has more Asian flare but also has a few items from other food cultures. Not quite a home run with all. The Appetizers we selected were good. I like the spin on the desconstructed crab Rangoon. It was really tasty and adding the cheese on top gave it a unique taste. The chicken wings were perfectly fried but sauce is required to develop taste. Which is fine if they were going for Korean Type fried wings. Dipping sauces were okay, chile lime is refreshing but not made for fried wings. Gochujang sauce was good and sweet chili heat were fine-Flavors were just as good as a store bought bottle. I was excited to try the crab fried rice but I found it to be dry and the flavor bland. It needed more vibrant veggies. The veggies were cut tiny so the flavors didn't come through like the roasted corn inside or the scallions. I couldn't taste they were in the rice. The "blue crab" was almost invisible. However if you use the sweet chili sauce on the rice it gives it a punch! Portion sizes were large-some too large. And usually that's a sign the food is probably not that great. Chicken Kimchi Stacker-The kimchi on the chicken sandwich was great but couldn't completely deliver enough flavor for the double fried bland chicken. It needed a special sauce to give it a kick. As for the entrees, we wrapped them up for take home. I added more scallions and rice vinegar and a touch of lite soy sauce to the fried rice. And I would probably go back to try other items. I would definitely return for the bar, and great Rangoon dip! Overall, No explosion or burst of flavors but it is well prepared and well presented food with a great staff.

Tried this place for the first time today and absolutely loved it! The menu can seem like a large range of food items but it's all so so good. There are a lot of Asian fusion items, Thai food, and classic diner items. I got the meatloaf and mashed potatoes - it came out hot and so so delicious. My boyfriend got the Curry Kimchi Schnitzel and that was also superrr good! We worried that it might be heavy but it was perfect. It was also such a large portion! We also ordered the calamari for an appetizer and it was delicious and perfectly cooked! Highly recommend giving this place a try! The service was friendly and fantastic and the food is to die for!

Rex's absolutely delivered on their Indian-Thai fusion concept. The Pad Kra Pao was delightful, packing a perfectly balanced spicy kick while the meat and vegetables were cooked beautifully -- fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor. We also tried the tikka masala schnitzel, which was a generous portion and just as delicious as it was creative. The sauce had rich depth, bold spice, and paired surprisingly well with the crisp schnitzel. Also, the cocktail menu didn't disappoint -- inventive, well-balanced, and a perfect complement to the meal.

Rex's has become our favorite local restaurant. Staff is great and the place is hopping. The food is wonderful. The crab Rangoon dip is a must have.

The Food was a 10 the service was a 10 and the atmosphere 10 we will definitely be going back

Thai tea cheesecake and chocolate mousse

The food is incredible. Tikka Masala Schnitzel was delicious. The sauce was extremely flavorful and the schnitzel was perfectly crisp. The crab rangoon dip and calamari are a must try! Then when you thought it could not get better the Thai tea cheesecake was probably the best dessert I've ever had. The staff was so nice and attentive to our large party. It's such a cute space with a funky vibe. If I'm ever back to Little Rock I will be back.

The atmosphere is great; the space was huge with indoor and outdoor seating, with a kind of vibe that is perfect for an evening out with friends. We made a last-minute reservation for a group of 22 (yikes!) at 6:30pm on a Thursday, and they happily accommodated us. We were seated in a private back room with plenty of space, and the décor was absolutely adorable (peep the photos!). I strategically sat next to friends who were willing to split appetizers, entrées, and dessert, which gave me the perfect opportunity to sample a few of their signature dishes. We started with the Beer Cheese & Pretzel and the Brussels & Bacon, and both were fantastic. The Brussels were the standout, wonderfully charred with a smoky flavor, while the maple bacon added just the right amount of sweetness to balance everything. For our entrées, we shared the STB Craft Burger and the Chicago Hot Dog. Choosing a favorite was nearly impossible, but the hot dog ultimately won me over. The toasted poppy seed bun was chef's kiss, and the combination of pickled vegetables and relish made every bite pop with flavor. But friends ... do yourself a favor and order the brownie à la mode (or, strategically place yourself between friends that like to share because we also got the honey vanilla sundae. ). I'm not being dramatic when I say it's the best brownie I've ever had. It wasn't dense, yet it wasn't cakey either--it existed in that beautiful, perfect, magical space between the two. Warm, rich, perfectly textured, and paired with ice cream... "otherworldly" is the only word that comes to mind. I'm only visiting from out of state, but I would gladly return to Little Rock just for another meal here. An incredible dining experience from start to finish.

Because of the great experience I had at lunch, I decided to take my wife there on Thursday night for dinner. Let me be clear: Dinner was a hit! I will start with the Atmosphere. I will be honest, the atmosphere is nice enough. The place is clean for sure. It is not as comfortable a place as some and is reminiscent of many restaurants I have been to. By that I mean, it is almost formulaic in it's set up. Nothing about it is unique or screams Arkansas or Little Rock to me. That is OK, I just want to be clear about the ambiance of the place. I still would give it a four out of five stars on ambiance. That said, it only gets better from here! For starters, we shared the fried green tomatoes with shrimp appetizer, and it was superb! As good as any you will find in NOLA and definitely the best in Arkansas. I highly recommend. For our main courses, my wife had the bacon wrapped filet and I had the rib-eye. We had never tried Samantha's steaks before and I hate to think what all we have been missing because our steaks were cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. We shared a side of cheese grits and couldn't had a better meal! For our dessert, we shared a slice of their key lime pie, and again, it was wonderful. A strong five star rating for the food here at Samantha's for sure. As good as the food was, our server Taylor was about the best I have seen in Little Rock since the days of Ashley's at the Capitol hotel. Every dish we ordered that I just described was a recommendation from Taylor. I love it when someone knows their stuff and she was super knowledgeable, with just the right amount of tending to us. Not too much looking over our shoulder every two minutes, but always there when we needed her. Samantha's is lucky to have her on their team. Another strong five star rating regarding service. Can't wait to go back. I feel like they are hitting their stride at Samantha's!

I ordered a fried green tomatoes appetizer and Tom Yum grilled shrimp entree w/ a cucumber onion salad side. The app presentation was as expected garnished and dressed with roumalade. The finished quality was sub par. The tomatoes edges were good but the center was so thick it was crunchy, 4 slices $16. The entrées are solo yet there is an expectation of an elegant presentation. Nope...two undressed, ungarnished skewers of dry shrimp on a plate for $19. That's it, that's all. The best item of the meal was the marinated 2 ingredient "salad" which was... sweet & savory $12. Lastly, what ended up being a "concept" of key lime pie. Presentation glorious, a dinner sized plate decorated with swirls and a decent size helping of a sweet item. This was what looked like an inch of cake crumbs that were recycled by pressing into a form with a 1/4 inch thin layer of key lime custard over top. $9
