Last month, I took my Tesla to this shop to have the windows tinted. When I picked up the car, I was told that the air bubbles in the tint would disappear within five days. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I brought the car back to the shop because I had been told that they would redo the tint if the bubbles did not go away. The second time around, the tint looked significantly better. However, later that same day, I noticed that the defroster grid lines on the rear window had been damaged. As a result, the defroster no longer works as intended. Had they done the job right the first time this would not have happened. I spoke directly with the owner, Hugo, and explained that repairing the damage would cost more than $2,000 because the only way to properly repair the defroster grid is to replace the entire rear window. Hugo agreed to issue me a refund and told me he would take care of it later that day. It has now been over a month. Despite numerous attempts to contact Hugo, I have received neither a response nor the promised refund. Based on my attempts to reach him, I believe I may have been blocked. I have included screenshots of our text messages below. He claimed he was waiting on corporate to review the refund. Spoiler: there is no corporate leadership team because this is a small business. At this point, I have had to go through my credit card company to dispute the charge. This experience has been extremely disappointing, especially because the large number of positive reviews initially gave me confidence in choosing this business. Proceed with caution if you decide to do business with this company. To Hugo, the owner: Please respect your customers and be a better man of your word.
