The first time he came to my yard, it was great. The lawn was very neat and short liked I asked. He did such a great job I hired him for bi-monthly service. The next time he mowed it wasn't so good. He cut it long and didn't fully edge the lawn. I sent him a text saying this and he replied with thanks for the input and I'll make sure it's done next time. A few days later I looked at my messages and noticed he recalled the message he sent. I didn't even know that was possible. It's Friday, which is his day to come out. No text messages saying what time he'll be there and a complete no show. I guess he doesn't like criticism and would rather ghost me than do his job. Prove what you just said. Horrible service! Never show up as scheduled, have to text days after they are to arrive to see if they are coming and get an excuse. Then we find our home pictures (front,back,both sides with our address) on the Fb page advertising their services. When asked to take it down the owner became irate and has started harassment to the point of having to call the police multiple times along with now stalking and threats. He is very unstable and should anyone use his service, please know if you end services he will not take to it well. He claims to be BBB affiliated (on his truck) but he is not, claims he is a legitimate contractor but is found to be not licensed. Very sketchy. We now have active charges of harassment against this man(owner) and even after being asked to leave us alone by us and the police he continues to harass and stalk. [Updated Review at 6pm, Jul 10] I am happy to see Carlos responded to my review, but unfortunately his comments are full of lies without any proof: 1. He claimed that I said they "have no common sense how to do invoices" even though what I actually said (which you can find in one of the screenshots) was that "sending invoices doesn't seem to be your common practice". "Common practice" and "common sense" are two different things!! 2. He tried to blame me for the wrong name and address. I sent my correct name and address in written format in 2 emails and 2 text messages, but he has never revised them. He also claimed he would repeat the information to get clients' approval, but it has never happened. If he did do that, I strongly suggest that he shares a screenshot of the approval. 3. He claimed "Then you started to call and send Text to my phone at 3 am in the morning to "give" you the invoice when said it's the first 5 days of the beginning of each month." This is completely untrue. I've never called Carlos and I've never sent him a text message at 3am. Also, he has never mentioned anything about "5 days of the beginning of each month". I will challenge him to share screenshots as a proof. 4. He claimed "I said I'm not paying you that price I only pay you $60 we also did more than a regular service. You ask for services and you don't pay." This is another lie. What happened was that we initially scheduled for June 20, and Carlos came and rang the doorbell, but I didn't hear the doorbell, so he just left without even trying to call me even though we had been using iMessage. After he left, I texted him again and said "I'd like to have you come over tomorrow, but will it become $70 or will it be $60? I usually work from home in the morning" and he replied "It will be the same $60 per service." After he provided the service, I paid him $60 with a pay check. I've never asked for services that I don't pay. 5. He then claimed "You are very rude client and not telling them the truth on how you disrespected my business, disrespected my wife when she spoke to you and disrespecting me. We always responded to your calls because it was very difficult to contact you by txt mag. When you spoke bad to me it was through my phone and cursing me out and not by text. It was always over the phone. That is also very disrespectful. " This is another lie. I have never called Reyes Lawn Services & More nor to speak to his wife. From the screenshots, everyone can see my message were polite. I said "thank you" a lot! On the contrary, after I left the review, he messaged me on Yelp saying "you act worse tha a woman". I just uploaded a screenshot of it. [Previous Review] The owner doesn't take feedback nicely. Before I decided to hire him, I specifically asked whether he could provide an invoice and he said yes. After he provided the service on June 21st, in order to make sure he put the correct information in the invoice, I gave him a Post-it with my legal name on it. After two days, I still didn't get the invoice, so I sent two text reminders on June 23rd and 24th to ask him to send my the invoice, and he replied that he would send it to me on June 26th. I understood he might be busy, so I waited. However, on June 28th, I still didn't receive any, so I sent another 4 reminders via Yelp, text message and email and finally he sent me the invoice on the 29th. But when I opened the invoice, I found he not only didn't put my legal name but also put the wrong street name. Therefore, on June 29th, I texted him and told him again about my legal name and the correct street name, and politely asked him to resend the invoice. On June 30th, I reminded him again by email but I still didn't get any response. On July 10th, I was done with reminding him, so I sent the final reminders via Yelp, text message, and email to ask him to resend the invoice with my correct legal name and address and to cancel my next appointment because I wanted to find a vendor who can send the invoices without me reminding him/her repeatedly. Guess what I received from him? Below is the his text message: "I'm very capable of managing my books. What you sent me is what I wrote down so if it was wrong info it was because of what you sent me. I will not service a person that design have common sense & is rude to get a free service. Clients like you make up excuses to make a business look bad. I will not tolerate that disrespect and saying I have no common sense on how to run my business". I don't know why he said I got a "free" service. I actually paid him for the lawn service. Also, I believe I was quite polite even after needing to send 11 different reminders just for one invoice. Just because I said "please cancel our next appointment because sending invoices doesn't seem to be your common practice. I will find someone who can provide invoices moving forward", he said I am rude? Who is actually rude here?! read more

What a great experience coming home to a perfectly manicured lawn, nothing broken, fence not damaged nothing out of the ordinary. Carlos did a fantastic job on the lawns today. Put a smile on my face. He also did a great job on my Mom's place. No calls from her complaining that it wasn't done the way she wanted. Carlos you get 10 stars, five from me and 5 from Mom. Horrible service! They are always late or did not show up with me having to text to see if they were going to come. When I did get a response it was an excuse each time and they would come the next day. The lawn we also had to text him as we asked for it to be bagged as we had brand new sod and we were told it would be done in which it was not. We also have had to text him each time he has come as part of the yard is shorter than other sections of the yard and it is left so tall that by the time he comes (or she does as we have seen her also cut the yard) it is left so long that the clippings left die which also kill new grass, anyone knows this especially a lawn "specialist". The problem we are having now has had to be taken to the court for a harassment order against him and his wife as they have had very horrible threats and also threatening my own business and calling me 15 times in a row then texting the same telling me to "answer the phone b***h" which is absolutely NOT the way any person should talk to anyone....business associate, friend, family, employee, employer or even just a random person on the street. They send an "invoice" for service that was not done and they send a text that states you will be fined a certain amount of money when you do not have a contract with them that you have signed. The reason they are angry with us is that we asked them to remove pictures of our home from their company facebook page that were taken without our consent of the front, back, and both sides and posted on their page for personal gain with complete disregard for my families privacy. The husband, Carlos has in his threatening phone calls and texts tried to get us to meet him somewhere so he can "do us in" whatever he means by that and then asked again for my husband to meet him somewhere to fight him. We are quiet, nonviolent, peaceful, loving people with ZERO enemies or even a person we dont get along with but this Carlos and Rosa Reyes are terrible people to have anywhere near your home or life especially when they threaten your life for ZERO reason other than you demanded that your house be taken off their website and have called the tax agency in the county and found that they are not registered with them nor the BBB in which means they use false advertising. This has become a legal issue that we have to now deal with for terroristic threat and harassment. Its unfair and unjust when all we are doing is living our lives and going about our business and then someone like this comes along to make a wave. Not at all a "businessman or businesswoman" by any means. We tolerated them being late and not showing up and us always having to reach out to them to see when they would be able to come as we were on a "biweekly" schedule but yet they would not show until texted. We knew after the 1st cut we should find someone new but we did not have time to find someone new as we are busy people ourselves so we let it be and dealt with the tardiness and did not "dock" their pay like they state in their "invoice" they text you that for every 24hrs it not paid they will charge an extra fee. VERY VERY VERY HOSTILE, VIOLENT TEMPERED PEOPLE WHO OBVIOUSLY LOVE TO HARASS AND THREATEN PEOPLES LIVES. NOT SURE WHERE THAT BEHAVIOR WAS LEARNED OR TAUGHT BUT I KNOW THAT I DID NOT GROW UP WITH IT, AND THIS KIND OF TOXICITY IS NOT SOMETHING PRACTICED IN MY HOME AND NO CONSUMER SHOULD EVER HAVE TO TOLERATE THIS. We cant wait to see his "response" to the review as he is very abusive and in reading others reviews he does not take to negative reviews very well and in our particular case obviously he is already doing horrible things and threatening. read more

Carlos did a great job on our lawn. We had recently moved in to our new home and the lawn grass had grown quite a bit with some weed. Carlos did a great job in mowing it all clean and bagging it up.
