On the recommendation of a friend, I drove all the way to Burbank today to bring a vintage turquoise bracelet in for reshaping to fit me, two other silver bracelets with clasp issues, several sterling necklaces, a gold necklace and a vintage gold and pearl bracelet for repair. Reynoso is a pro and a super nice guy! He took care of the three bracelets in a few minutes, then took the other items in for repair. His charges are fair and he is an honest, kind person who gives good advice about jewelry. Here is a follow up. I just got off the phone with him. He actually hung up on me. I never raised my voice or used any kind of bad language. I just asked when my ring will be fixed. From what he said I don't think he's even started on it. Now it's supposed to be ready on Saturday, almost 4 weeks from the time I gave it to him!!! At the time of this review I still do not have my ring. If I could give zero stars I would. This is one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I took my antique ring to get repaired and have the stone replaced which was green tourmaline. I gave him a piece of tourmaline and the ring. One of the prongs had come loose and needed to be repaired along with the stone to be cut and polished and put in. He said it would take 2 weeks. I called after a week to check the progress. He said he had not even started on it. I called a week later. He said it would be done by the end of the week. I called at the end of the week. No answer. I went by and there was a sign that said he would be gone untill Tuesday which is today. I went by again. The sign is gone but the door is locked. The owner does not pick up the phone and his voicemail is full. It is now 3 weeks and I still do not have my ring. All I want is my ring back at this point so I can take it somewhere else. This ring is extremely important to me and is an antique. Do not use this guy. Worst experience ever!!!!! read more

I had to have my wedding rings modified and resized and was THRILLED with the results. Previously I had taken them to other jewelers and was told the modification I wanted was not possible due to the ring's original design but when I got them back from here, they were perfect. I have taken two projects to Francisco and have been very happy with his excellent work both times. In the first instance, he converted an antique Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree watch fob into a screw back pin for which he only charged me $15 cash. The second time, he attached an old Knights of Columbus challenge coin onto a neck chain that I had provided. For this job he only charged me $20 when they were wanting over $80 at other jewelry repair places to do the same thing! In both cases I gladly "tipped" this humble man extra as I thought his work was worth more than his asking price. I believe Francisco to be both a true master craftsman and to posses integrity; I do highly recommend him without reservation.
