the older white male with no hair is a complete and utter rude person . my friend and i tried to get drinks after the electricity recently went out the last time we went and we couldn't close our tab. So we asked if we could just pay by the drink with our card and NOT open a tab given the electricity went out last week and it took us 3 hours to get our card back. that was a problem for him. he wouldn't allow us to pay per drink. whoever that man/bartender was said that, "would be our last drink there because we weren't willing to leave our tab open", even after i explained to him our experience that happened literally last week. Every time we went there, which has only been four times, there has been issues with power, food, ordering drinks, etc. I don't recommend this place at all. he got a $0.00 tip because of how rude he was and we will never go to this bar again. read more

My first time here. First, yes they are open! What bad luck, what Good luck. They were sold out of all the ribeye and other steaks which is why I am even here. But that forced me to try the fish which was really very very good. I'll be back for a ribeye for sure. read more

Cool little place. Enjoyed the decor and feel. Food was well done. Great hottest sauce for the wings. Just enough to make me tear up but not enough the make cry home to momma. Burger was perfect. Only negative would be there was only one person talking care of the whole bar and floor. Once guy, but seemed like he forgot we were there and kept talking to the people at the bar. Ahh, Rey's! Many memories made here. I started going for karaoke nights and used to frequent almost every day. (I don't do that anymore- haha!) Bartenders turned into family. It is a great place to meet up with friends and enjoy some cold drinks and yumnmy, hot food! I always get the crispy chicken wrap and fries. Their fries are like fair fries. I usually add salt and vinegar...yum! It is a very welcoming place whether you're hanging for hours or just stopping in for a quick bite. They also have an enclosed patio with a roof, TV's, and fans. During normal dining hours, it is family friendly! Just try it...you'll love it! read more

This place is one step up from a dive bar and a decent place for a drink. Actually, I'm told it was a dive bar in a past life and the current owner (Rey) cleaned it up. The juke box is fantastic and the drinks are cheap. The bar staff is primarily women and all of them have an impressive tat collection. Alliance is small town and if I was blowing through and wanted a drink this is where I would stop. read more

As Alliance has a college, there has to be a place for college kids to hang out. I think they might stop at Ray's, at least for a couple. I could see people coming here to prime before or after a game. I went on a slow night and found the atmosphere to be relaxed and friendly. I can see where some might rate it as a dive bar but it's a touch above that. It's worth checking out if you are in the area. read more

This is probably one of the better bars in this crapish town. If you're into playing billiards, definitely come here. There are always people playing and willing to play if you go solo. The crowd is mixed, young and not so young. Overall, a friendly crowd. It seems like fights don't often occur. Food and drink specials throughout the week. The food is pretty good. If you're into mixed drinks but not sure what you want, just ask the bartender. They're friendly and usually have good suggestions. read more

Wow, $.25 wings in Wednesday with totally homemade sauces, yes please. Their Voodoo and Spicy Garlic was amazing plus their homemade chips. Service was solid, great beer prices but their food was way better than expected. Neighboring table got a French dip type of sammich and it looked amazing too. I was very surprised how good the food was and the beers were ice cold. This place was awesome. Way cleaner and brighter than others made it out to be. I will be back. read more

My nephew is a student at Mount Union and brought us here for our visit. There was 6 of us and everyone had a great lunch! Gyro, wings, chicken wrap, burger, burrito, fried pickles and fries - everything tasted great and very generous portions. Not a busy day and took awhile to get our food but we were not in any hurry. Very casual bar and grill, several pool tables and a nice hang out place. Will definitely go back when we visit. read more

Rey is fairly new to the Alliance restaurant scene, but his family has a long history in the area. This is a great place to hang out, have a beer, and watch a ball game, and if you're hungry you can't go wrong!! Awesome burgers, amazing pulled pork sandwich, best wing sauces in town!! Good atmosphere, quick and well priced drinks. Offers a patio which is a must for smokers. About 5 pool tables, darts, tv's and good local entertainment from time to time. This is where I go to have one or two when I'm bored. read more

Let's just say it will take a good bit of convincing and a few cold ones before I make the decision to go back here again. I went with a few of my friends from school and needless to say we didn't have the best time. The service was appalling. I'm not one to make a fuss over some slow service, I know how it can be, especially if the place is packed. But that that was not the case this evening.My party received pure neglect for the entirety of the night. I was so irked by the time I received my meal I could hardly enjoy it. One customer with our party mentioned that her wings were cold,( like mine) and when they brought back a new batch they were a completely different flavor. Her and I were both enraged at this point. So much so, that we just bit our tongues and continued on with the evening. Only to come to find that both orders of wings (yes the batch we sent back) were on the bill, as well as other errors. I was so fed up by the end of this evening I had to go watch Bob Ross for the remainder of the night just so I could keep my cool. read more

My husband goes here when he's visiting the area for work, usually on weekdays, and he really likes this place. On his latest trip there, which was over a weekend, I tagged along, and was less than impressed. It was crowded with a lot of 20-somethings -- not a relaxing atmosphere. And I wasn't happy that we had to pay a $3 cover charge for the UFC fights I had no intention of watching. I may have liked the place better if I hadn't visited on a crazy Saturday night. They had a lot of pool tables, which was a plus, but the door exiting the pool room was locked, which I'm sure is a fire code violation. read more

Great place outstanding service & food. As for it being a dive NOT! It is what you make of it. I have been to a lot of places that are fancy and there snobbish atmosphere makes them a dive to me. So stop in Reys and feel at home! read more
