My project size was 15 cabinet doors, 3 small drawer boxes, 3 large drawer boxes and one aesthetic drawer face. It's a smaller refacing project since it's a small condo. The lowest quote I received was $5,000 and the highest was $14,000. In terms of pricing, he was on the lower end but not the lowest but considering the quality and customer service it's definitely fair pricing. My cabinets were a darker color and they had been used for over 30 years and were ready for re-staining (due to wear and tear). We booked a date and estimated around how long it would take to finish. My project was estimated to be one week. I also provided a 50% deposit for the project up front. Reza and Ali arrived on time. They also laid out protective covers for my countertop and also covered my walls/appliances and windows for sanding. They also were cognizant of no shoes in the house as well as sanded outside. Reza also double checked with me where was a good place to sand. They also worked well as I had multiple vendors at the same time. The sanding was very detailed. Ali and Reza did examples to make sure I liked it. We even had a chance to correct blemishes and also make sure the sanding was as smooth as possible. I used the Yelp Quote system and sent the job request to several companies. Several said they could only do it after the end of the year (This was early November). Two others quoted much higher than Reza. Of the other companies, two sent salespeople. One that just looked around and threw out a crazy high number (like we don't want to do this job number, since they were more of a full kitchen remodel contractor) and one that measured and then came back with a quote that was 35% higher than Reza. Granted, each might use different materials and have other areas of expertise, but all I needed was a refresh of the cabinet faces. The boxes were still fine, and we weren't remodeling the kitchen. Reza was the only business owner who personally came to see what the job entailed. No upselling. He listened to what I wanted and then sent a quote that was a simple flat rate per cabinet door and drawer. His quote included all the prep work to sand and paint the box fronts, the paint and painting, and all the hinge and drawer rails. No crazy quote with difficult-to-understand charges. Reza was fair, honest, and straightforward. He managed my expectations well; while communication was excellent, English is not his first language, so I used a Farsi translator to make it easier. He's a very nice guy who wants happy customers and knows that's what it takes to build a business. Reza had a team of people helping, and he was personally there doing the installation and took the time to understand the last few details of our "to-do" list before completion. His deposit requirement to begin work was fair; 50% of the remaining balance after pre-work and paint was fair, and the remaining balance was due upon completion. If you're looking to update your rental, property for sale, or home, Reza has a solution to fit your budget. Please do yourself a favor and at least get a quote from him. I'm leaving this review because I liked his work ethic, how I was treated, and the final results. Reza is a nice guy trying to build his business. He offers a very fair price and excellent service. Reza is the best, I had a leak in my kitchen and the restoration team ripped out a bunch of cabinets, the doors and some of the faces were saved. Reza came in took his measurements and worked his magic, he even expedited the job because I had no kitchen and made it look better than before. First of all, Reza was amazing to work with. Prompt and clear communication. I had a water damaged small cabinet that I need to replace. I had purchased the cabinet separated and Reza agreed to install. I wanted to keep the original countertop, but to do this would likely destroy the countertop.
