Mariano and his team are truly craftsmen and with an amazing work ethic! We had original 1950 red oak that were in terrible shape with water damage and termite damage. Mariano was so hands on and made the experience not only incredibly efficient but truly gave the floors a new life. I would recommend Old world to everyone who want to preserve the character and do a wonderful job. They live up to the company name! The before and after pictures! Thank you Mariano!

Believe the hype! As a new homeowner I've had an harsh introduction to the world of contractors. Mariano (owner/operator) is a really really good guy who does really really good work. I believe start to finish took 3 to 4 days. Most of that time was letting the finish dry. Professional, on time, responsive and affordable. Just can't say enough about these guys. Would highly recommend! I gave his contact to my real estate agent to try and get them more work. I will absolutely recommend them to any friends/family for any hardwood work. Just can't say enough about them. Side note....toward the end of the project I was asking Mariano about what kind of chop saw he uses because I need to build a couple gates. He said he had one he no longer uses. I was expecting him to ask 60 or 80 bucks for it (which I would've paid). He gave it to me! Name brand Makita saw that he even dropped off. Absolutely solid dude!!!

Mariano did an excellent job refinishing my hardwood floors! He gave a fair price and the quality of his work is excellent.

No job too small. Honest responsive, adaptive and he is a very early riser, I appreciate folks on the job on time every time. They did Beautiful hard wood floors throughout my 112 year historical homes. They installed an amazing accent wall, period correct trim, crown molding, and baseboards, on top of the drywall and much needed insulation throughout my entire house. Easy to work with, if you've eary done construction you know the standard pain of a bidding contractor walking on a job damning the work/workmanship of the contractor before. I NEVER has a hint of this or any drama with Mariano. He worked extremely well with other contractors, he didn't charge extra for using your credit card and was upfront with all covid supply delays. They did above what he promised more than once. Reasonable rates, his team always respected my neighbors with no loud music and trash about the project. THIS GUY IS SOLID! I will use him again professional and zero drama. He was ALWAYS ,"appreciative for the work", and had no qualms when I changed my mind. He'd smile and say "thank you for the work, no problem, I will get you the numbers." As a women I NEVER felt raked over, and he advised me on how best to approach many other critical aspects on my 8 month remodel on the 112 year old triplex.

100 percent recommended! Mariano worked magic on my 93 year old white oak floors. Fast, reliable, and got the job done on time and on budget!

Honestly our floors were a mess and they did a beautiful job they look like new. A bit of poor communication in the beginning with them not showing up the day they said after confirming the night before and not being good at responding to calls. But after we finally touched base they apologized and all went very timely and smoothly after that. They were a very good value and we'd hire them again in the future.

Made this 1940s floor look like new.

These guys were the best! They picked up where another contractor disappeared on us. It was so critical to get this done because it was holding up move-in. These guys came in, finished adding new floor where it needed to match the old, and got the job done in record time. And, super nice and reasonable price.

From my first phone call, Sofia in the office was incredibly helpful. She took the time to explain what bathtub refinishing can and cannot accomplish and gave me honest, practical advice that actually reduced the cost of the repair. I really appreciated that she wasn't trying to upsell me. David Garcia performed the repair, and his 26 years of experience really showed. He was friendly, honest, professional, and clearly takes pride in his work. He explained the process, did an excellent job, and left the tub looking great. It's refreshing to find a company that values honesty, expertise, and customer service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dasani's Company Tub Refinishing to anyone considering bathtub repair or refinishing.

We have not dropped anything on this spot to create a chip. David came back to look at it and said accidental damage was not covered in his guarantee/warranty, even though I explained my care and lack of dropping things on the surface. He said he would get a quote for the chip as well as another chip he found. Because I pressed, saying I didn't cause the damage and it should be covered, he said they would touch up the paint while they were already here and didn't charge me. I asked Sofia if I could get the name, color, and finish info of the touch up paint so I could have some on hand in case this happens again, but she said it was a licensed product unavailable to laypeople and recommended I cover it with white nail polish. So now I just have to hope and pray that nothing else happens to the tubs because I don't feel confidence that they'll cover it. They said accidental damage doesn't mean it was caused by me, but apparently it's still not covered in the warranty?? I am leaving some stars on my review because the initial work looked good, and David did work very hard. But if I was looking for a company to do a great job AND for the work to last, then I'm afraid I cannot recommend this company. Initial Review: David was so kind and thorough. He had to use a LOT of elbow grease to scrape off our old paint that a previous owner applied terribly. David updated me throughout and was up front about additional cost to add nonslip surface. The new tubs are so sparkly and shining! I got a quick response on Yelp communication, though I did not receive any reminder or instructions for how to prepare my bathroom prior to his visit.

Stepping out from the corn field and into my life.... First came Rhonda Bathington - the customer service extraordinaire with all the answers to life's great questions. A quick call, some photos of our forlorn tub, and like the sun bursting through the clouds, a quote appeared in my inbox. A gleam of hope. She would send her best man the very next day! Enter Dario Tubland - a man so skilled you'd wonder if he was once an apprentice to the most revered sushi chef in Tokyo (Jiro Ono). He denies, but I remain skeptical. With all his ability, he still finds time to be polite and courteous, taking a moment to great my furry friend. He explained everything very well and even brought to my attention the poorly installed overflow drain cover and showed me what it would take to fix it. As you can tell I've never gotten over my childhood dream of being a weirdo, but in all seriousness this company was a dream to work with. Since it's in a vacation rental property, I won't be using it myself, but it will see plenty of use from guests, so I'm hopeful it will be easy enough to clean and hold up as promised. He left the area spotless, with no lingering odors, and the finished shower looks beautiful. Since there are no VOC's we could stay in the house while the resurfacing was being completed. I hired OBR to recoat the insides of 2 tubs. Short version is I am extatically happy with the…read moreservice, results, and the discounted cash price was excellent. Long version is that both tubs were ruined by living in this house 21 years which made them dingy, my mother in law's assisted chair set up which scratched up the bottoms, and our teenagers dying their hair which set black and blue color permanently into the scratches. One tub was acrylic and the other was metal, (determined by me testing a magnet). They both looked really bad and dingy and I was pretty concerned that the metal one was bound to start rusting out with continued use. The tubs looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years even after a deep cleaning. There was no shine. I was embarrassed to have guests use the restrooms, as there's absolutely nothing you can do to hide a bathtub. So I read a lot of reviews and got a few quotes. OBR had a good price to begin with plus they offered a 10% cash discount. I also liked the idea that they were so confident about the finish not yellowing. I have a few re coated tubs in a rental property that have held up over the past 25 years but they have yellowed over time and are ugly. I'm going to invest in having OBR redo those tubs in the near future. I only needed to do the insides. The outsides still looked shiney and new. Serge recommend that I let him remove the drain kit so the white coating did not get on that metal and that gave me the opportunity to run over and buy new drain kits (for about $25 ea) and that was the finishing touch. Both tubs now look BRAND NEW and have a very glossy, almost wet, looking finish. I am thrilled with the end result and feel I most definitely made the best choice in hiring these guys. I wasnt too concerned about the potential smell but if you are, the process is indeed odorless. Serge told me it might take around 6 hours but it actually took about 4.5 hours for him to do both tubs. I had left him home while I was out and had to come back sooner than expected since he finished early, and he was very gracious waiting for me to return. The coating only takes 1 day to cure. A+ experience all the way around.
