Roy sent out Carlos the next day who looked over the project and I had an estimate a few hours later. We agreed on a price and Carlos was back to do the work. A leaky roof caused major rain damage in my living room. Ceiling and 2 walls needed repair. Looked up RG Drywall and saw good reviews. I have never in my entire life worked with such hard working and honest people. Roy the owner contacted me within an hour on what I needed done. First out was Carlos. Roy, Carlos and Tonio are amazing. I called Roy with little leeway in terms of time with a project to do before Thanksgiving and together they made it all happen! Carlos did a great job hanging drywall, removing texture and making my walls and ceiling look perfect! Of course, just like with any project, things go wrong. Well this time it was MY fault!! I picked the ugliest color for my dining room and wanted to vomit after I saw it in the room that was, of course, all perfectly painted and Tonio just had to finish some detail. Talk about terrible timing to walk in on a project! Well, they worked with me and Tonio agreed to repaint the room for a reasonable price. I AM SO HAPPY with the result; a beautiful dining room for hosting 30+ family/friends! Roy was so responsive and extraordinary with follow up and communication! I didn't want to short change his painter but I also didn't want to pay double to have the room repainted and they were reasonable and understanding. Ron of RG Drywall and Repair was great throughout. I found his service on Yelp and gave a call (I left a message). He was on a current job and responded by text less then 5 minutes later. I sent pictures of my drywall area in need of repair. He was able to give me a quote which was to my satisfaction and had Randy and his helper come out to my location to fix repairs. After having my pipes rerouted due to a slab leak, I had numerous holes of all sizes in almost every room in my house. I got a couple referrals to handymen to repair the drywall, but decided to look for an actual drywall expert. I am so glad I did! Roy and Carlos were absolutely amazing. From the communication to the actual repair process to the clean up after, nothing could've been better. I am very picky and was really worried that after the repair work was finished, I would still be able to tell where the holes were. Fortunately, Carlos's work is stellar, and once everything is painted, the walls will look better than they did before. Five stars isn't close to enough. I contacted Roy about getting some drywall done for one part of a major remodel we're doing. He was back to me in minutes, which surprised me because getting people in the skilled trades around here to return a call is a real hit-and-miss proposition. Someone was out to bid my job the next day and started the the work day after I accepted the very fair estimate. The work was done well on time by nice guys who cleaned up after themselves. When I asked for a bit of rework because there was a misunderstanding about what was required, it was done promptly with no griping or extra charge. These guys stand behind their work. The final results were on time and on budget and beautiful. I had some other jobs (painting and tiling) I also needed done along with the drywall and Roy referred to another couple of guys who both did the same high quality work the drywallers did. Well, there is a reason Yelpers are giving RG Drywall top reviews. They haven't even started work yet, and I'm already thrilled with the service and responsiveness that I am experiencing. Roy was great about getting back to me right away to set up an appointment for either him or Tonio to come and take a look at the painting I need done and give an estimate. Long story short, between my tenant moving out the new tenant moving in, occasional brain lapses on my side and some miscommunications, there of been a million texts flying back and forth among us and Roy has been so accommodating, calm, and good-natured every step of the way. Best of all, we have finally worked out the schedule that works for everybody, we have the date for work set (even though my timeline is super short), and the price is reasonable. I had a part of the dry wall in the garage ceiling that needed to be replaced due to a leaky toilet above the ceiling. Found RG Drywall and Repair on Yelp. Called them, left a voicemail, and got a response via text within a few hours. I liked that Roy (owner of RG Drywall) left in his voicemail instructions to forward additional info, incl photos, to his mobile phone. This helped to move the discussion forward faster in terms of the issue, options for repair, etc. We exchanged a few more text messages, along with photos. Then Roy sent me an estimate via mobile phone around evening (slightly before 7pm). This was nice because 1) he followed through with an estimate; and 2) the fact that the msg came at 7pm means he works hard/late, because sometimes ppl don't respond after 5pm. I like that the estimate included repair, materials (incl. insulation), and texturing. He also didn't write to me "Oh, but this estimate may be higher if we find this and that or if the area is much bigger." Next morning, he followed up with a text msg that he would be in my neighborhood and could stop by to do the work. Perfect since I wanted the work done asap, not wait another week or month. Shortly thereafter Roy and his mate Pete showed up and started working. They worked in tag team. They were VERY efficient; knew exactly how much of the old dry wall to cut; had new insulation material ready, along with the mud, texturing paint, etc. (No additional trips to Home Depot, which has happened to me with other types of repairs.) Pete did an excellent job of applying the mud-like material onto the new dry wall. I could tell he wanted to get it done as perfect as it could be. A sign that he takes pride in his work. They cleaned up with their own vacuum. We didn't even paint as the color of the texturing material matches the rest of the garage ceiling well. Now that part of the garage ceiling looks as good as new. I'm very pleased with the job they did, which is far better than past dry wall jobs I had done by handymen. It truly makes a difference to have an expert who's been in the business for many years (30yrs). I highly recommend RG Drywall for drywall repairs! read more

Five stars is not enough! Did we luck out when we contacted Roy to fix our Master bedroom walls! They had been wallpapered and painted over and I was looking for a fix other than having to replace the drywall. Carlos did an amazing job! The walls are beautiful with no hint of the wallpaper ever being there. We also had electrical work done that put about 30 holes in the ceiling and walls and the patches Carlos did are undetectable. Within one week of contacting Roy, my walls are done, the electrical is finished and the painting will be done all within 10 days of contacting him. The work completed is top notched and dealing with Roy was the best experience I have ever had when doing a remodel/redecorating. He texted me back within minutes every time.
