Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! On the top floor of Restoration Hardware, you'll find the stunning rooftop. We made reservations in advance and waited only a few minutes to be seated. The restaurant is perfect for brunch or a romantic date night, with its airy, classy ambiance and sparkling chandeliers. Our server was attentive, the caviar was incredible, and the champagne added a nice touch to our evening out. Beautiful place to grab a meal! Located on the rooftop floor of the RH building, you walk in and are greeted by staff who guides you to the elevator in the back of the store to go up to the rooftop. Ample seating in the restaurant but recommend you make a reservation if you're planning on going. I don't believe they take groups larger than six. Service is excellent - our waiter was extremely attentive and made great food recommendations. We ordered the RH burger, the burrata, truffle fries and the crispy artichokes to share. Would recommend all and only ate half of the RH burger due to its size. Taking off one star as it is on the pricier side for what it is, but you pay for the amazing view and ambiance. Gorgeous pieces. Ginormous prices. Admittedly, I love their art deco lighting designs but their furniture is an out of body walkabout exclusively designed for those who get off lighting their cigars with hundred dollar bills and want the Mommie Dearest look in their Upper East Side duplex like yesterday. I love quality but not at the cost of funding the salesperson's entire retirement in Ibiza. In the meantime I'll wait for a sale or look for a steal at the Bloomingdale's clearance center. One of the most beautiful rooftops I've ever been on (New York City. Wherever). It's just breathtakingly appealing. I don't care what they are serving, the "space" alone makes it worth coming. I came because I heard about the burger, and decided to come and and have a working lunch midday. The burger was wonderfully flavored. Just a tad more bread than meat ratio, but good. Service was super attentive and personable, which is generally not as congratulated in a dining experience than the food. I will definitely be back to explore more of the menu. read more

I was there at 1pm and the receptionist told me it would be only 45 mins. And when I went there at 1:45pm, they told me it would be another hour. By 3:49pm, still no notification. We came to RH Rooftop of a whim. We didn't have an advance res and luckily were able to secure one same day, for a few hours later. We weren't necessarily dressed for the scene (oops, we were in athleisure after a day of running around the city) but luckily there is no official dress code. We entered the building, used the fancy ground floor bathrooms (so pretty!) and then took the elevator upstairs to the rooftop. The restaurant is light, airy and just lovely. The 'indoor' section still feels partially outside because of the open concept. We were seated 'outside outside' on the terrace. The chairs were a little low to the ground but comfy. The atmosphere is really nice. Service was great and attentive. My friend and I both ordered a glass of wine and a salad (salads were AMAZING), so even though we weren't spending a ton, service was still really friendly and didn't rush us. The ambiance and decor at RH is amazing and I can see how many flock to the restaurant. Due note that Even if you have a reservation you will be waiting, as this establishment seems to stay full so be prepared. I went for lunch and the menu isn't extensive and everything is ala carte - oh and it's a beer and wine situation only so if you're looking for hardcore drinks this is not a fit. We had the burger, sirloin sandwich, fries and artichokes. I opted for adding bacon on my burger and yum , they use a very thick cut of bacon and it compliments the burger well. The sirloin sandwich was just ok and the artichokes were very tasty as they weren't over fried and had just enough crunch. I took a star away for the price as it is extremely overpriced and the long wait even though I had a reservation. I definitely think it's a spot to visit at least once. read more

We were able to grab a reservation for brunch. It was five of us including my son. They were very accommodating and friendly. They took our stroller from us before we were seated, and provided us with a high chair ( a fancy high chair, and probably the most comfortable high chair for a restaurant to provide). Overall, everyone enjoyed their meals. We started with the burrata, and lox appetizers. Both were delicious and I would get again. We also ordered the truffle fries, which were sooo good. For mains we had: Lobster roll Shaved beef Burger I'd get the shaved beef again - the sandwich was delicious. I couldn't finish the entire sandwich so I took it home with me and had the other half for dinner, surprisingly it held for a few hours. I'd definitely be back! read more

I came here for a 2nd time and was so disappointed. Service was sub par and they barely did anything to make up for it. I came here with a group of 5 for a borthday and that is where our problems began. Our table wasnt ready for 15+ minutes but we just waited patiently. When we got to our table we ordered straight from the menu and then waited.. and waited..and waited. After about 30+ minutes of no check in and no food updates, we started looking for the waiter. It took us another 30+ minutes to get the waiter to come over who then noticed we didn't have food and went to the kitchen to check in but then went full speed over to the hostess. I guess the order somehow got lost or wasn't put in so the hostess was sent over to make sure we didn't get angry at waiting another 15 or so minutes for our food (this is now over an hour from when we ordered). We waited and waited and finally got most of our food other than a shared plate of fries. So we notified the waiter. After 10 minutes, still no fries and tried to get the waiters attention to can el the order. Then after another 10 minutes, when we were done with our food, the fries came over as if no issue at all - at this point it was late and we just wanted to go home. TLDR: from the terribly slow and unattentive service to just ok (at best) food, i would definitely not come back here again. read more

Had a lovely time for dinner on a Friday night. The ambiance is lovely with beautiful chandeliers and adorned by water foundations and luscious plants. The glass elevator to the top floor rooftop is an architectural gem. The food was very good and service was prompt, friendly and welcoming. We were able to get in without a reservation. Price point is higher than I would have liked to spend for a glass of rose, a Caesar salad and some truffle fries but it's the meat packing district so expect some inflation. read more

Absolutely stunning place, just a little pricey and the wait for the restaurant on the 5th floor is relatively long (2hrs + on a Wednesday night). Believe it or not it's actually a furniture store with a lot of neutral colors, personally some of my favorite colors. The bar on the 3rd floor serves wine and beer only. You can take the elevator up or the stairs. There's also a rooftop on the 5th floor that is nice during the warmer seasons. Definitely a place to come and impress others. read more

Who knew that one of my favorite drink experiences in NYC would be at Restoration Hardware? I certainly didn't. While I did not buy any furniture during my visit, my gal pal and I did make use of their 3rd floor bar and showrooms. If you were looking for a cocktail, unfortunately they only have wine and beer on the menu. Although, the wine they do serve is tasty and refreshing. I've never seen a furniture store utilize their showrooms in this way. This is such a cool concept! There were customers sitting on the couches, using the dining room tables, and even laying in the beds, all with a drink in hand. I got to catch up with a friend, drink in hand, in what felt like the comfort of my own apartment, and I think that's what I loved the most. We never once felt rushed to leave or were pressured to buy anything. If you didn't know you could have a drink here, now you do, and I'd highly recommend it. read more
