Email with further order delay.

William Sonoma has gone wayyyy down hill. They are trading on the name recondition but the service and quality has dropped. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. I ordered a gift basket for a neighbor and if was delayed so long that I was embarrassed when it showed up. Now, I ordered a gift for a weeding. Ordered March 1. Original delivery date promised was long before the wedding. Today, I got an email that the gift would be delivered three weeks after the wedding. Their delivery deadlines are a complete fabrication. If you need something by a certain date, shop elsewhere. So disappointed. I remember when this was a quality brand. Sad to see it fade.

What better location than in Columbus Circle for Williams-Sonoma! Convenient and easy to get to. Great place for shopping for house-ware items or gifts for the home. Love coming here during the year for gifts or even the holidays! They have Disney, Star Wars, Game of Throne Games themed gifts now! Always the latest and greatest variety to choose from. The spices are great ideas, cookie cutters, bakeware, home goods and more. One of my favorite places to come for housewarming gifts! Variety and options changes with the season too...now is a great time for holiday gifts! Staff is friendly and helpful in finding items you want.

Very snobby staff at this location with typically overpriced kitchenware. Bowl of moldy lemons on display with bugs flying around. They should worry less about me looking at the sale section and more about getting fake lemons for the store.

Current time: 2:35 and no sign of anyone wrapping my package anytime soon

I was the perfect customer. I came in, was polite, knew EXACTLY what I want...and by that, I mean I marched to the shelf and decided immediately. All an associate had to do was call for it in stock upstairs, and then I had it, was directed to the cashier, and checked out. I even donated a couple bucks to whatever charity they were plugging at the register. I asked for my item gift wrapped, and the cashier told me it would be a few minutes since it was a large item. No big deal. Then, the waiting began. A lot of waiting. So much waiting, in fact, that it's now 11 minutes since I paid, and I've had time to write this review, and my package is STILL sitting beside the cashier. And nobody is acknowledging it. Large items take a few minutes to wrap, sure. Large items do not take 15 minutes to carry to the back. I could have walked to another store, bought wrapping paper and a ribbon, and done it myself by now. My experience could not have been worse. I'll take my business elsewhere next time Update: someone finally came out to wrap my item, and said "do you just want paper and a bow?" And I said "umm sure, as opposed to what?" And she rudely said "as opposed to taking everything out of the box". No obviously I don't want you to do that, are you effing kidding?

Sugar cookies that I made using Nordic Ware geometric cookie stamps from Williams-Sonoma in Columbus Circle

I shop at this location frequently as it is close to my job. While I have always liked the Columbus Circle location and find the employees to always be kind and helpful, this Saturday one employee really went above and beyond to help me! I was looking for Nordic Ware geometric cookies stamps but the website said that they were out of stock. I went in anyway with the hope that I could find some other Christmassy stamps instead. The store on Saturday was PACKED! I've never seen it this busy and all the employees were helping multiple people. I found some cookie stamps but all of them were either spring floral or Star Wars - no Christmas or generic cookie stamps to be found. James, an employee at WS, saw me looking around and asked if he could help me find something. I asked if they sold any Christmas stamps or geometric stamps. He called me over to his computer and pulled up a set of stamps he thought I would like and, low and behold, they were the Nordic Ware geometric stamps I had wanted but thought they didn't have! He said the system was showing that they should have a few so he called another staff member to look for them in the back. He also looked at other locations in the city to see if anyone else had them in stock and informed me about what my shipping options were and how quick they would get to me if he couldn't find them in the city. After that he told me to browse in the store while he tried to track down the stamps. Shortly, he came and found me and he had tracked down the stamps! James truly went above and beyond to help me find what I was looking for. I have worked retail, I know what the Christmas rush feels like and I would have completely understood if he had just said "sorry, if they aren't there then we are sold out." That he took his time to track them down really meant a lot - especially since I wanted them to finish making cookies for a gift and needed to be done by the next day. I highly recommend checking out this WS location. The store is gorgeous (if you haven't seen the gingerbread city scape yet - GO!), the employees are knowledgeable, and above all they are helpful. Just understand that the store may not flow as quickly as you would like because it is a really high traffic shopping center. Have some patience and snack on one of the food samples they usually have while you wait!

A friendly and efficient store. Sure, it's full of overpriced stuff, 99% of which nobody really needs, but it's fun to look a the items that have one very specific use. I just don't know who has that much cabinet or drawer space to store all this stuff! I come here regularly to exchange my Sodastream CO2 cannisters and find it very convenient. The store is clean and the staff is nice. It's funny to watch the people who shop here...so much plastic surgery!

Was introduced to Williams-Sonoma's free culinary classes by Benson Y, particularly the knife skills class. Mike was a great instructor and was able to handle so many people - I'm not sure if all of them signed up or drop-ins. Regardless, the entire class was very informative and it helped a bit for me in determining which $$$ knife to get - the Chef's or the Sandoku. The rep from EdgeWare was also cool enough to provide free knife sharping. Great classes, beautiful store, awesome service.

Difficult to communicate with and gave me erroneous information while trying to mansplain. Also quoted me an outrageous price for installation that was more than the AC units! I almost went to Home Depot instead, but based on my previous experiences with PC Richard over the years, I gave them another chance. Called again and spoke with another sales rep who was super competent and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions patiently and took care of the COI's my managing agency required. He gave me a much more reasonable delivery and installation price compared with the first sales rep . Everything went smoothly and I am extremely happy with my new AC's. I guess my advice is to change sales reps if you're not satisfied because PC Richard generally has great ones.

Alex couldn't read a simple screen (the folks at the UWS branch showed me his error) and sent me to pick up a purchase at the UWS store -- but it wasn't in inventory there at all. So I was promised same day delivery by messenger within 3 hours. When I called after 3 hours, I was told by Anthony it had been scheduled for the next day, and he convinced me not to demand the refund but to wait. He couldn't give me a precise time window, just 7 am to 7 pm. When I called the next afternoon to ask when it will arrive, it was Alex on the phone again. It had been scheduled with UPS, not a messenger, and he couldn't immediately tell me for when and said he would call me right back. He never called, but when I called after 20 minutes, he answered as if nothing was up. He started saying that it would be delivered next week, no Friday, no Thursday. Talk about getting jerked around. Wtf? I told him to refund me and forget it. (The whole attitude was very Kids in the Hall "oops, it must've slipped my mind." IYKYK). The shittiest part is that the purchase is a heater for my kid's bedroom. Our building boiler is on the fritz and my kid's is sick. Information o shared with these folks. How crappy can you get. Never dealing with this branch again and recommend you stay well away.

I am so happy to have this store in my neighborhood on the UWS. The manager hooked me up with a discount and Khalisah was really amazing about giving a refund for an installation fee when the guys delivered my AC's but couldn't install because of my cabinet. I highly recommend doing business with these people!

But I had a horrible experience at the new Upper West Side location after I purchased a microwave two weeks ago. In almost every co-op and condo in NYC, a store is required to provide a Certificate of Insurance (C.O.I.) for delivery or installation of appliances. I sent our building's C.O.I. form to P.C. Richard and waited two weeks for a response. Yesterday, I went to the store and was assured that their insurance company had submitted the C.O.I. to our building. That was not true, and I got into an argument with the clerk who had sold me the microwave. I told him I wanted to cancel the order. As he did that, I asked him how this could have happened, and he loudly said, "This conversation is over!" That caught the attention of the store manager, who rushed over and tried to help resolve the situation. He promised that the missing C.O.I. would be sent by the end of the day. Well, at the end of the day, it wasn't sent, and I had to go back to the store to cancel the order. The manager did apologize and authorized a full refund. Luckily, I discovered that Home Depot has the microwave at the same price, and their costs for installation and removal of the old microwave are $100 cheaper. I'm sad, though, to see how customer service has declined at P.C. Richard. I won't be shopping there again.

I have to say, this is easily the nicest, most unique Home Depot I have ever visited…read more It's located right in the heart of the Flatiron/Chelsea area and spreads across three beautifully maintained floors. What really stands out is the atmosphere, it doesn't feel like your typical warehouse. The garden section is gorgeous, filled with plants and trees that make the store feel surprisingly airy for being in the middle of a city block. Very impressed by the selection of items being fully stocked in all departments. The store feels more like a "boutique" hardware shop, than what you'd find in a standard suburban location. The service here is top-notch. Giving special thanks to Rachel in Plumbing! Ask for her, she is actually more knowledgeable about the products to fix plumbing issues. Thank you Rachel for fixing my plumbing issue. Unlike some larger stores where you're just a number, the associates here are everywhere. I was asked several times if I needed help, and when I did, they didn't just point me to an aisle--they walked me directly to the product. Even though it's Manhattan, the prices are consistent with their website and aren't hiked up. This store has plenty of self-checkout kiosks, no waits or long lines. If you're doing a DIY project in the city, this is definitely the place to go!

I came by to make a return pretty late on a Saturday evening around 8pm, the store was pretty dead in terms of traffic, a couple people walking around here and there. I'm not as familiar with the layout of this location so it took me a minute to get my bearings--this is the only location to my knowledge that has both a terrace level along some parts of the wall on the first floor and a basement/ground floor (lower level being larger). They really pack the square footage of product into this space, which is only about 1/5 the square footage of a suburban HD store, though bc of this they also have limited inventory of certain items. Saw an info kiosk unmanned, but following a couple signs it was easy to find the check out/guest services area. With a minimal line, the staff was quick to ask how I was doing then, process my return expediently. One negative I'll mention is aside from a little street parking in the neighborhood, or at the structure behind the store, there's no convenient parking outside of the store if you have larger items to transport. (And while the store itself is ok, don't let me get started on delivery or renovations work...while I haven't had experience directly with this store on these two things, I'm forever put off by the ridiculousness that is HD's home delivery service...though that's a story for another day.)
