As long as you go in through the right entrance, you don't have to walk the whole mall, although we love the huge size and selection at Great Lakes! We used the map right by the door and found GameStop quickly. The mall felt welcoming and had a lot going on, so it's definitely a place you could spend more time if you wanted to. Even though we didn't need help from mall staff, we were greeted by a few people as we walked through, which was nice. It turned out to be a smooth and easy visit overall.

My favorite stores to shop here were: Just Cozy, TJ Maxx, Burlington, and The Nike Store. All of these stores had items that I needed and all of them had a large variety to choose from. Many of these stores also had great sales and specials. They had a Winter Wonderland setup and Santa Claus was there for photos. I also appreciated that they had Christmas Carolers from a local church group singing live here. The food court was not good. We had a family member get sick from the Japanese food place, so please be careful. The variety in the food court is also a range of different options, which was good. This indoor mall is now my fave here.

(learned this trick from another Tesla owner) Today, there is no longer a Tanger Mall WiFi so charging failed every try. Each try put a $75.00 hold on my card For a total of $600. I'm told by every Tesla owner I could find, at the mall that the fast chargers have a problem.

They seemed to have some decent prices, but items I liked were too big to take home on the plane :-) I was surprised they had a Goodwill next door....full of really cool Halloween items....the best items were big animated figures for $299....little pricey for something they received for free, but that is typical goodwill. Clothing and household section was small in my opinion. I was looking forward to the Lululemon store, but not too impressed with the prices. Most prices are the same as the online prices "We Made Too Much." I came back after the Labor Day weekend thinking maybe they might have different deals....NOPE. Same stuff and same prices. I have to say, the employees here were not friendly here either so maybe it is a Michigan thing? I was here for the holidays and the lines went to the back of the store both times that I visited. The merchandise was selling out so quickly. I especially appreciated how the staff was working so hard to get people shoes to try on. The place was so packed and the staff here was very helpful. My advice is to come the first few hours that this store is open, when things are freshly stocked. The ladies section seems to be missing sizes beyond L and that is a problem for women like me who love to buy XL for my fit. Great place to buy special gifts for the athletes in my family, thanks.

But what is possible is to find deeply discounted Nike items. Another tip of note - ALL SALES FINAL. They make it very obvious going through the store, signs at the cash register, and the staff let you know before swiping your card. The store has items for all ages. The women's section is pretty underwhelming. All of the clothes are pretty much on circular racks within the store and very close to one another. One rack had sports bras, another had shorts, another had tanks, and another had active outdoor wear. If you dig enough you probably can find a deal. But like I mentioned earlier it's hard finding coordinated outfits because everything is just all over the place. Shoes are in the back while men's is to the right of the entrance. Fitting rooms have 3 stalls and during a busy Saturday afternoon, they were pretty messy. However, staff were very nice and helpful. I saw some less than attractive Blue plastic beaded sandals by Tory Burch. Not for me either. So many items are tied down or rather wired down to the hanger into the rack. Macy's Shopping Experience…read more While I did find everything I was looking for, my visit to Macy's turned into a much longer shopping trip than expected. The biggest challenge was the lack of floor assistance--no one was available to help for most of my time there. Toward the end, I did find one helpful associate who set up a dressing room and assisted with items, which I truly appreciated. Another major issue was the clothing tags. Many items weren't labeled correctly, and the hangers didn't match the actual sizes. I had to check inside each garment to confirm sizing, which made the process frustrating and time-consuming. This isn't the Macy's I remember from past shopping experiences. While the quality of the clothing--especially professional wear--is still excellent, the overall shopping experience felt inconvenient and disappointing. Thank you Dawn
