Last attempt to try to find some more shorts for my husband. I found a pair of those shorts, but they were $60 and they were just a simple green color. Decide if they were worth getting, since it doesn't generally wear gray much. I didn't find any shoes or items for myself either. Some of the jewelry is quite pretty, but extremely expensive for how tiny and small the items are, all because there's some High profile name behind it. I saw some less than attractive Blue plastic beaded sandals by Tory Burch. Not for me either. So many items are tied down or rather wired down to the hanger into the rack. I make a purchase online, I just get my package today, it was empty. I called customer service and they said that the requests typically take 3 to 10 business days to investigate and make a decision. I want my refund, I paid for a purchase and I didn't get anything. read more

The staff at this location is rude. I was ignored a few times throughout the store. Customer service is a lost art. If retailers want more traffic in the stores they should train their salespeople to be respectful and attentive to all customers. read more

I LOVE Saks Off Fifth. It is the last location in Michigan. I used to shop at the Great Lakes Crossing location but sadly that closed years ago. I always find deals on men's shoes and clothing at phenomenal prices. In the women's section I find deals on shoes and accessories not so much on clothes. I've shopped SOF in other states and this location by far has the best selection of designer brands at discounted prices. The buyer at this store has their finger on the pulse when it comes to style and fashion. read more

I use to love this store but it's definitely changed since Covid. The store is very unorganized and Emory looking compared to how it used to be. Someone needs to go in and organize this store. Still so many great deals but you have to dig cause so messy. Since it's the only one around in mi now you would think it would look better. I probably won't go as much til cleaned up a little more. I was super sad when the Loehmann's here closed and was super excited when I saw the signs for the Saks outlet about to open. I got a chance to go this past weekend and was kind of disappointed. The selection is pretty small, but it's not really fair to compare to the Great Lakes Crossing location which is pretty huge. Shoe selection was comparable though. There's a surprisingly large men's selection, which I'm sure is good news to some. My favorite section, clearance haha, was only two racks and had no hidden treasures, but hopefully that'll grow as the store gets busier. None of this would have been off-putting, except the service was weird. I was browsing with my mom, when a salesperson came to tell us about all the new stuff they had. Then asked whether we'd give a name and phone number for updates. I said no thanks and ten minutes later in a different section, the same woman came to give suggestions and brought over random stuff to show us. I'm not sure if they work on commission or something, but I don't think I've ever spent a few hundred dollars on a bag just because someone suggested it. I had to awkwardly be like, that's nice, thanks, and she asked if we wanted to give our numbers again. I'm guessing there's a spiff for getting numbers. Or maybe she thought we were going to steal something or something. I love outlet stores and did see a couple things I'd like if I had had time to try things on, but I hate interacting with salespeople, so maybe I'll have to take a long break before coming back again. Overall still missing Loehmann's, but still happy to have something in the old space. read more

Horrible store with a terrible return policy of 30 days. Disheveled manager looks like he crawled out from under a rock not very representative of Saks Fifth Ave and wouldn't even allow a credit. No wonder the store is empty and on its way out no customer service. read more

This store is OK. Some of the staff is rude. I think they need to rehire new staff starting with the tall lady manager however, they do have some nice stuff. Their shoes used to be a lot better. It's kinda pathetic now it's more of a fancy TJ Maxx than anything. read more

Service is the most important thing to me and man did they blow my mind. I think her name was Lisa but she went above and beyond and beyond that to locate a shirt for my husband. She found it at the Great Lakes location, waited on hold while they located it, helped me purchase it over the phone, and had a great conversation with me while we waited without being awkward or bothered. Everything was well organized and there was so much of a selection that I got tired trying to make my rounds. They're sunglasses selection and menswear doubles that of Great Lakes so if you're torn between the two, go to this one. Whatever you're looking for, I'm sure you'll find it. read more

I know every store has a return policy... I bought shoes 2 months prior (past their policy), and broke my ankle so I never wore them. I wanted to return them and I had the receipt, all the stickers were still on perfectly and they were in the original box. Saks OFF 5th would not even consider a store credit. Not sure why not, they could have easily put them back on the self and have a happy customer that would most likely spend even more with a store credit. Anyways, I will not be shopping there again. read more

Unfortunately I was not able to really shop because while I was trying to shop with my toddler there were not carts that you could put your kid in nor did it enable you to do "real" shopping. Carts were small. Looked like things were well spread out. Just disappointed that it was not set up for moms...which are the ones who do the most shopping read more

Its a great store with a ton of selection for men women and kids. LOVE the fine jewelry section. They carry Michele watches and John Hardy! Handbag selection is great. The store seems to be getting a lot more higher end brand names like Gucci and Valentino plus some Hermez bags. read more
