Classic southern elegance. Shannon who checked us in- friendly, welcoming and informative. Very clean

Our washcloth next to the hand towel. So gross.

Disappointing. Avoid room 8, in bad condition. Needs to be renovated. Musty and damp, paint peeling, spider in my bed. No smart TV, had to run to Staples for a Roku. No mini-bar as advertised. Breakfast was very good but don't sit next to the wall unless you see the window sills and shutters have been cleaned. Worst part was "luxury linens" and this was our washcloth...

This is a beautiful place to stay. We had a wonderful time and the staff was very friendly and caring.

Atmosphere: Quaint antebellum home. Location: Excellent location in downtown Beaufort, near the waterfront and the main shops on Bay St. Walking distance to shopping and eating. Service: Good. Helpful front of house personnel, friendly servers and kitchen staff. Food: Breakfast is delicious. You can order whatever you want from the menu, and order more than one item. There are cheese and crackers in the evening. Accommodations: We stayed in King Room 11 in the separate house across the street from the main building. The room is spacious and tastefully decorated. The wood shutters were dusty with a visible layer of dust on the window facing side (not the room facing side). In this room you can hear foot steps above and the voices of the people in the room above. The bed is comfortable, the AC and fan are great. The bathroom has a jacuzzi tub and is outdated (looks as if it hails from 1995) and in need of some repair but is functional. Would be nice if they added at least a handheld bidet feature as an option to bathrooms. There is advertisement of having an EV charger as an amenity at this hotel. During our stay, the Tesla destination charger was broken but the alternate J1772 level two charger was semi-operational. I could plug in but charging would stop/restart sporadically. Recommendation: Enjoyed our stay. "It's a yes from me, dog"

Absolutely love this place!!! The breakfast made by award winner chef Beverly is fabulous. The staff is over the top nice always looking to help you. So much rich history in this B&B. They supply bicycles to ride around looking at the beautiful town and water. If this is your first time take the horse history carriage ride.

We only can give it 3 stars but I still recommend a stay (for one night). It is only 3 stars because of the value in comparison to the costs. The positives: most of the staff were friendly, the breakfast was delicious (although a fruit option is needed), the beds are comfortable, it is walking distance to restaurants, shops and waterfront. The negatives: the evening appetizers and deserts were disappointing. We saw several posts from the inn with signature cocktails but none were severed the four days we were there (we were only offered wine one of the days). Coffee is not ready until 7:30 and sometimes it isn't ready until 8:00. The inn is beautiful but like all historic inns it needs constant upkeep. We enjoyed room 7 but be advised all the rooms require many stairs. Some of the stairs are uneven and would be very difficult for anyone with any mobility issues

Had a wonderful stay. The staff is fantastic. The room was very clean. Can't wait to go back. Breakfast was awesome. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. The homemade biscuits were so fun. Get breakfast a little early so you can get a seat out on the porch. Thanks again to all the wonderful staff. They definitely treat you like your family.

I totally enjoyed every moment of my stay at The Rhett House Inn. They have a great little cheese and hummus spread each night, an honor system bar and a great to order breakfast from 8:00 to 10:00am each morning which is included with your room. I stayed in the Barbra Streisand room which was just fabulous. My bed was so so so comfortable, I never wanted to get out of bed! The Inn also has these big beautiful balconies with tables and hammocks. This is just such a nice relaxing place to lay your head in style for a few days.

Through our research, we finally settled on 607 Bay Inn and I'm glad we did. We were graciously welcomed upon arrival and given a lay of the land which included two communal kitchens, the veranda and balcony, and our room. Our room was situated on the second floor at the back of the house. Each room has its own private bath. We also received vouchers to be used for breakfast at our choice of a couple of different eateries downtown. 607 Bay is easily within walking distance of shopping and restaurants as well as the waterfront. The inn has delightful waterfront views itself. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the balcony as well as our evening nightcap. It wasn't until a few years ago that I realized I had an appreciation for architecture, especially that of the previous century or two. This inn has that charm in spades. Though the essentials are updated as you can see from the pictures, the old wooden floors have a creak to them and the doors to the front of the house have notes on how to open them with ease. It's a charm that, to me, is priceless. Everything at the inn was well appointed. We had zero issues during our stay. If we're ever back in the area, staying here again would be an easy yes for us. I would recommend it for you as well.

I almost gave the hotel less than four stars because our room was right next to an HVAC system that was on and off all night long and I had a horrible time trying to sleep with the loud unit making so much noise on and off. The bed-and-breakfast is adorable though, the grounds are fantastic and they have a nice breakfast. There are so many beautiful courtyards to sit down and eat your breakfast or get a bottle of wine and enjoy the natural beauty and historic setting. This was my third visit and I would love to have the opportunity to go back, but I definitely don't want to stay in the same room.

Almost all of rooms are just modified duplexes/apartment buildings with shared entryways and balconies. We booked one room for almost $500 a night for a romantic evening and they tried to put us in a cheaper room thinking we would not notice. It was damp, moldy and I found a bug in the room. Once I complained that it did not match our reservation, they suddenly told us about an alleged A/C issue and tried to put us in a "better room". The furniture was damaged and the shower was moldy in that room and in NO way was this comparable to the reservation we made a month prior. Park passes, breakfast and bicycle rentals are "complimentary" but yet they charge you $18 a day resort fee to have access. I do not recommend staying here at all.

I have to agree that the property could use some love from a maintenance standpoint- paint, some rusted metal grates, cracked area inside a bathtub. But it is a grand old house and room was clean. The owner was pleasant and helpful. We stayed in the yellow room upstairs which was large with a very comfortable and firm queen sized bed. There was central air which we could regulate in our room. Parking spaces are near the backyard. Breakfast was delicious- home made blueberry muffins and a spinach frittata.
