I live in Brunswick, GA and I had the Rhino Shield service done on our home and was absolutely pleased with it. After around five years the product began to fade a bit in some parts of the house. This could have been because of sunlight or other environmental factors. It never looked bad, it just looked faded. Anyway, I made a quick call to Rhino Shield and spoke to Elias. After some warranty verification, checking proper colors and emailing a few pictures Elias set up a service. A few weeks later a technician came to the house and took care of the areas in question. In fact, he basically redid the house to keep everything consistent - and we do not have a small home. The work was excellent. Because we were not at home when the work was done, Elias told me to check everything once we returned and let him know if they needed to come back and fix anything. They didn't, everything was done well the first time but it was nice to know that I had this option. Overall, the entire process was simple and efficient. Review of Rhino Shield of Jacksonville, FL After seeing several advertisements for Rhino Shield and recognizing our house was last painted in 2014, taking into consideration our remaining life span, the average cost of getting a house painted, and the fact our children will take over the house the 25-Year Warranty on the application of Rhino Shield to our home seemed to make sense. After contacting Rhino Shield the first professional that we dealt with was their 'Coating Specialist' Mrs. Jennifer Ludwick on 9/19/2025. Besides Mrs. Ludwick's professionalism her down-to-earth approach to business was refreshing. First, we talked and then she asked to do a walk-around of the house to inspect and take pictures to which we did not need to participate. When she finished she came in and provided us an informative, educational, and professional presentation on what Rhino Shield is, how it protects the house plus the duration of that protection, an outstanding overview of what the work entails with a maximum of a week to do the project and of course the cost in which given the starting figure can take your breath away but then showed the incentives which in turn made the price reasonable to include an additional discount because of being a Military Veteran. But, like all great deals, we had a choice of accepting the contract on the spot with the final price or taking our time in thinking about the project but keeping in mind the discounts would not be applied. Given our previous research and Mrs. Ludwick's input it was an easy decision to make and we signed the contract. The other outstanding item was that we were still in hurricane season, and we did not want to start the project until that was over and asked if 12/15/2025 would work to which we were advised yes. Furthermore, if the worse case scenario happened, a hurricane with damage and realizing the materials would not be purchased/assembled until about a week before the start date, we had the option to cancel if the worse concern happened - which it did not. Also, Mrs. Ludwick stayed in touch, answered some follow-on questions, and advised us to reach out to her at any time if her assistance/advice were needed. Next, the Production Manager out of Lakeland, FL, Mr. Chris Johnson contacted me by phone, introduced himself, and reviewed the expected timing of the process. A couple of weeks before the start he sent Mr. Ryan Cash to our home to pick up samples of our existing house colors; Mr. Cash was also a professional and friendly and answered some basic questions. A few days later Mr. Johnson reached out and verified he was able to match our colors and that Mr. Cash will be delivering the supplies the Friday before the Monday start date - which he did in a timely fashion. Then, Mr. James Platt, the Team Leader, reached out by email to advise that he and his Team's planned arrival time on 12/15/2025 and if there were any questions to contact him either by email or on his cell phone. The Installation Team consisted of Mr. James Platt/Team Leader, Mr. Jason Cothern/Crew Member, and DeVante Young/Crew Member. As promised, this took place: Day 1: took everything they could off of the house, remove the gravel/dirt that was up against the house (except for the lanai area) back about three inches and down about 4 inches to expose the painted surface just below ground level, and then start taping all the areas that needed to be protected. Day 2: finish the taping, finding all cracks or holes and sealing them, then they applied the primer coating. Day 3: apply both coats of the primary product and paint all the doors and garage door. PLUS - I did not realize how badly the two pieces of black iron on the house needed painting; they went ahead and painted them before putting them back on. The day was finished by the Team putting everything back to its original location (as Mrs. Ludwick said they would do) and Mr. Platt conducted the final walk around of the home. Mr. Platt and his team stayed on task all three days. When they left our house on Monday and Tuesday the work area was clean and their equipment plus items that were taken off the house were neatly and securely accounted for. The willingness of the Team to interact with me/to help educate me was fantastic. They also had a great sense of humor and conducted their work in a relaxed but no-nonsense approach. As to the work skills they demonstrated, they are consummate professionals in every respect. And that is reflected in how our home looks today. It will take 30-days for the application to "cure" and we are looking forward to seeing how the Satin Finnish will turn out because right this minute, the clean/neat appearance of the house is great! Rhino Shield Jacksonville did an exceptional job repairing our defective stucco from the builder and painting with Rhino Shield to prevent future cracking and water damage. It is expensive, but absolutely worth it to protect the investment in the house. With Rhino Shield we no longer have concern about further damage from the new construction builder's improper stucco. Love the final product and quality of the paint. They are very accommodating if you have any issues

Our sales rep was punctual and seemed to be a nice guy. However, I should have known from the "we will need 60-90 minutes of your time" warning when I made the appointment that this was another "time share"-type spiel. For anyone wondering (like I was) what the cost is compared to "regular" painting, in our case it was 6.5-9.5 times as much as the average painting quotes we had received thus far. So our paint quotes were averaging $10K vs "$65k-$95k" for Rhino Shield. Not worth it IMO since we can paint several times over before getting anywhere close to the cost of Rhino Shield. Needless to say we will go the regular painting route, but I'm trying to save others that may be curious from having to go through the entire estimate process. This is not for anyone looking just to do basic maintenance, or who isn't a bazillionaire. "Regular" paint has come a long way in recent years (the sales rep wasn't even familiar with the superior SW product the other painters had quoted us), and is much more reasonable in cost so I encourage people to do their own research and make the decision that is best for them and their budget. I would literally move before even considering spending close to six figures just to paint my house. read more

Bad experience all around, over priced and hideous installation, they sent a non-English speaking crew with improper equipment, they did a horrible job painting and absolutely destroyed our front door in addition to making a huge mess with paint all over the cement, air conditioner and lines. Now it's been over a year and they still haven't replaced the door and are giving me the buckle and dime run around. Really disappointed that a veteran owned company would do that to a veteran. We are very happy with the job. The house turned out really nice. The only issue I have is I was told any holes or damaged wood would be replaced before painting was done. We have a hole in the siding from an old dryer vent, instead of patching the hole, the work said to just get a cap to put over the hole. I ended up doing that and painting the cap myself. It's not what I was expecting, but since I had to take care of it myself. It will have to do. read more
