We often go to to other higher-end establishments. We like to Branch our! We do occasionally come to Rhinos and are always happy with the experience! Service I'd great, on point, timely and friendly. We are starting to give more local establishments our patronage. It's turning out to be a good choice! Delish wrap and my guys we're more than happy n full! Pros:The atmosphere was enjoyable. I ordered the perch sandwich with beer battered fries. Both were very good. Cons: the service was VERY slow and inattentive. We almost left due to waiting so long to be greeted for our drinks, but decided to stick it out. It took a while to ask us for our order. We sat so long with empty drink mugs we eventually just asked for the bill the next time we saw the staff. This place has a lot of potential to be an awesome bar to frequent, but unfortunately the lack of service will deter us from returning. read more

Typical American bar food. We got their version of southwest egg rolls for an app. My husband got a cheesesteak sandwich and I split a chicken tender basket with my kid. The southwest egg rolls were good, they give you a great salsa/sour cream sauce to dip them in. My husbands food was good and extremely hot out of the kitchen. The problem was the service was not great. We waited forever for our drinks to be refilled and getting the check seemed like an actual joke. I probably could have walked out and the waitress wouldn't have noticed. The girl working the bar seemed to be the only person on top of everything going on. This place is a nice mix between a sports bar and casual restaurant, depending on when you come here and where you sit. Although it's an entirely open area, the back wall feels a bit more private. You'll find great food, keno, digital trivia, attentive servers, tons of TV's, and even karaoke on some nights. That last one might be a good or bad thing depending on your perspective :) Definitely try this place out! read more

When I'm on the road I like to find a place that has the buzz time Trivia. This is why I drove 15 miles to have a beer and a burger. I was pleasantly surprised. Not only was the food good and the people friendly (other customers & the workers) but that had about 10 or 12 big screens. This is a great little small town bar that has good food because that's why the local's will keep coming. And I'm sure the tourist and the out of towers will too. A group of friends and I came in hoping to just get a quick round of drinks however the bartender was extremely short and borderline rude, refusing to offer us service unless we sat at a table and waited for the one waitress that was handling the entire dining area. I love this place. My husband and I eat out about 8 times a week and come here because the food is good and the service EXCEPTIONAL!!! If you are lucky enough to get Caitlin to wait on you, be prepared to be treated in a kind and friendly manner. I have always been fond of Rhinos, but last night may very well be the last time. Upon arriving, it took all of 10 minutes to get a drink. There was a server, and a bartender - and originally the slow mediocre service was understandable. As all of the tables left, non were bussed down and the single server (Brittney E) was busy telling the bartender and cooks about how she wasn't f***ing doing anything tonight. Our food was at the counter and the bell rang 6 mins before it was brought to us. And the server spent all 6 of those minutes hanging out with what appeared to be a regular at another table. (There were 3 tables at that time- nothing larger than a 3 top). Another gal showed up and helped the remaining tables and she was awesome. Brittney gave us our bill and after waiting 10 mins I had to leave cash because she was just too busy playing on her phone and talking to the cooks. This was the first terrible experience here, but I don't think we will be back. read more

Sat down and waited 20 minutes for a waitress and left, probably both of them walked by me 20 times- truly terrible service

It was a Saturday night when my boyfriend and I went here. The place was very busy with only, what looked like, two people serving. The service was very slow. Felt like she kept forgetting she had certain tables. Waited forever for food and our appetizer came out about 5 minutes after we had been given our dinner. Food wasn't anything phenomenal. Customers at the table next to us were also frustrated because they waited very long for an appetizer. I ended up having to get up and get myself a box after we sat finished with our dinners for about 15 minutes waiting for our waitress to help us. Won't be going back any time soon. read more

Best burgers!! Hubby and I like to go here for a great burger, beer batter fries and our most favorite a tall glass of Angry Orchard in tap! Family friendly place to take your children to watch a game or just for dinner. Never had a bad meal there. read more

Wow! Just wow! This place will blow the hair off your nuts! Rhinos has the best food, and oh my lawd they got delicious beer. I would highly recommend this place even without the cockroaches running around. Oh and dont mind that wierd dude across the bar eyeing your girl. His real target is you. Very disappointed with our experience at Rhinos last night. First of all, let me say that this place was one of our favorite hangouts. When we arrived last night, there were closed signs on the tables that didn't really make sense but we saw they were trying to social distance. We had to ask the waitress to put a closed sign on the table directly next to us that was about 3 ft from our table. Half of our orders were wrong and the wait was crazy to get a grilled chicken sandwich replaced. Several ppl walked in not wearing masks and were walking around the restaurant not wearing them. The bartender wasn't wearing a mask either. When the replacement food arrived, so did approx 12 ppl who were celebrating the bartenders birthday and none were wearing masks. They deliberately sat at the 2 tables directly behind us marked closed which completely crowded the section we were sitting in. A couple next to those got up and moved, so did we. The waitress said she knew the party was coming and didn't tell us. 2 ppl walked up to our table saying they were regulars too and they saw the whole thing go down and said it was BS and they won't be back. We asked for a to go box and our bill and told the waitress why we were leaving. It took a long time to get the bill paid. We won't ever go back to rhinos. They ruined it for us by being disrespectful. All we ask is for rules to be followed and they refused to...Not OK Rhinos! We keep seeing them post that they are losing business and need to reduce hours. Time to wake up and see why! read more

The burger was Perfection! Details in how it was made like toasted bun showed in it's amazing flavor. The regular fries and onion rings fresh and very yummy! We went after lunch rush on a Saturday afternoon. We loved it there cause we are not crowd ppl, great time and my husband is coming back for the Chix fajita! Very nice Midwest staff with great food! Won't ask for more! Only complaint is it could use more lighting inside had to turn to read menu to get light shine on it. read more

Went a few months ago and was told food might take awhile...an hour and a half is awhile! burger was good once we got it. Fries were cold. Went back a second time and never even got waited on (1/2 hour) so we left. My sister went just last week and they put in their order and over an hour later still had NOT gotten their food....they left! This bar is okay but nothing to write home about. The service is alright but nothing spectacular. I have had horrible service here and had great service so I am just averaging the experiences. I have been in the area 8 years and have never gone into Rhinos. It will be the last time. The service was pretty horrible and the kitchen was backed up. No apologies, no acknowledgement of our waiting for 3 kids meals for over an hour. Plainwell doesn't have a lot of places to chose from so I would suggest the pizza place around the corner. Don't come here expecting great food. The drinks are standard and the food looks and tastes like it comes from the frozen food section of a discount grocery store. I had a burger and it was perfectly round (not hand made), dry, and tasteless. If you want to go out and paint the town red then this is your place, but go elsewhere if you want to eat decent food. It is hard to tell if this is a family restaurant or a sports bar. It is a little weird to have the music up so loud that you can't think, yet ten plus kids running around. Also, a true sports bar would have an olive burger on its menu, but Rhino's doesn't. The drinks are good, but a couple of the dinner hour bar tenders have mastered the art of inattention. Plainwell doesn't have much to pick from so I can't say I would not recommend Rhino's. They don't open until 11:00 am (not 10:00 am as their web site states, so don't going looking for an am Bloody Mary. read more

I am a local and I used to frequent this place up until the service and food went downhill. They used to have excellent service and good food for the price. Now they have bad service and substandard, overpriced bar food. The last two medium well burgers i ordered there came back bloody. I recently ordered the "lake perch" there and it was very bland and dry, I would have rather had a cod fillet from a fast food chain. The mozzarella sticks that my girlfriend ordered there, were still frozen on the inside. Even when the place is not busy their service is terrible. Even when the waitresses know that you are there they will stand around and then decide to wait on you when it is convenient for them. Its too bad this place isn't what it used to be. read more

I went here with my brother and my friend a couple weeks ago. We weren't sure what to expect. When we went to Rhinos it was a wonderful experience. The service was probably the best part. Our server, Jessica L, was sweet and attentive. When my friend ordered a side of chips and salsa Jessica mentioned that she wasn't sure if she knew how to enter that into the system as a side. And my friend, being the thoughtful person she is told Jessica to bring her fries instead to not inconvenience our waitress. After all our food had arrived (and was looking delicious by the way), Jessica came out with a basket of chips and salsa for my friend, in addition to her fries, and said that it was on her. I thought that was not only good service, but extremely thoughtful on a human level. The food was great too, and the inside of the restaurant was visually appealing too. 10/10. Also bonus points for the birthday board outside (they put happy birthday messages on it and it's super sweet) read more

Service is prompt if you'd like to go for a cocktail....however, the local crowd can become a bit to handle...If diligent about grabbing a cocktail this is where to go however a glass of wine or a beer at home if you don't care to see your neighbors drunk....the staff does a great job no complaints there. read more

We have been eating here for about 5 years, usually carry out. Always start with the 20 piece wings, naked, with the hot Sauce on the side. Get both the ranch and the Blue Cheese. The Steak Sandwich is fantastic, along with their version of the Philly Cheesesteak, the patty melt etc... Pretty much every sandwich is tasty, my wife particularly loves the Rhinoburger with the egg on top. The onion rings are fantastic and they always get the order right as the bartender always checks the order to make sure every thing is in the bag.
