So I work nearby here and come in usually once a week... and I have a lot of good things to say about my experiences. First of all, the food is very well done. In a town where there are plenty of places with questionable menus and basically just doing food to check a box... this could have easily been one of those places. It's a bar in a store that sells motorcycles and snowmobiles and stuff, they didn't necessarily have to try with food, but they did and they've kept it consistently solid for quite some time. I usually go with one of their sandwiches, but have had soup, steak, pizza rolls, and everything in between. My overall synapsis is well executed bar food. The staff has been and remains one of the best things about this place. They are upbeat, have good attitudes and generally do a great job taking care of you... and I already mentioned this but this is a restaurant/bar in a motor sports store. So, you can literally go buy a motorcycle amount other things... or you can seriously consider doing that like me. read more

I will not be back because Zeigler employees need their place. Very disappointing. To think I almost bought a wave runner here. I buy it by jouse in waterford mi. Their boneless wings are wonderful! Lots of chicken without a extra ton of breading like a lot of places do? My hubby ordered the French dip. He didn't expect an open bun sandwich. The au jus was more like French onion soup broth. The chips were also very hard. The biggest disappointment, though, was when we found out when the bill came about the 3 percent charge for using credit cards.The 3 percent credit card usage law states: "MERCHANTS MUST INFORM CUSTOMERS ABOUT THE SURCHARGE BEFORE THEY MAKE A PURCHASE, BOTH ON LINE AND IN STORE?" Extremely overpriced for the quality of the food. Do not get anything that has melted cheese, it is bland and thin as if it was watered down. It is such a shame because the pretzel bites are actually quite good..... but overpriced even if they make the beer cheese better in the future. The steak tips were quite nice but the gravy for the mashed potatoes was just as bland as the melted cheese. Steer clear of the fish and chips. It is a singular fish stick that is extremely greasy which is a shame because the fish inside was really good. The fries are cooked great but they need any kind of seasoning. The "daily" soup did not change when I went here over the course of a week. Don't go here in the evening as it seems to be a handful of drunks who just want to bother anyone trying to be left alone. The service is fine when they are near you, but will "talk about you behind your back" to the kitchen/other staff..... everyone does it, but you should probably keep your voices down even if your guests pretend they can't hear it (they can). I tried a few different dishes and wanted to like this place, but, at the end of the day, they just are not worth what they charge. Remember, the server cannot control food or price quality so please still tip we'll if you go here. And as others have said, there is a 3% credit card surcharge that is not mentioned anywhere I could find, but I'm not sure if that's illegal or not. Overall/tldr: The food is average, maybe a little below. Service is also average, if not a bit rude when they think you are not listening. The prices are insane and the place seems to only be open because of its relation to the motorsports store. 3% surcharge on credit cards. read more

Ordered 2 Kidz Bitz meals: pizza with fries and chocolate milk. Kids menu states $5.95 for ALL Kidz Bitz including a drink. The bill came and we were charged for 2 chocolate milks. I asked the waitress about it who went to speak to a manager. Upon her return the waitress stated that the manager said 'the Kid Bitz include a drink but it isn't free.' They made a 'one time exception' and refunded the drinks but I cannot fathom how they can even make the argument that the drinks aren't included...it's stated right on the kids menu. Driving by and stopped in for a quick bite for lunch. This place is very interesting! It's connected to a Motor Sports store. Plenty of seating and the place is very clean and wasn't too noisy. Our bartender was very nice and gave a few recommendations on the food as well. The food was pretty darn good. The menu is fairly large, so there is plenty of options to choose from. Highly recommend the Hot Pepper Cheese bites as an appetizer. My only recommendation would be to make sure and provide silverware and napkins for the table. read more

I've been meaning to check this place out for a while now! Wasn't sure I would be super pumped to have a showroom floor directly in the restaurant...but it works! It gave it a very different feel and I liked it! The place itself is small but the showroom is enormous. After eating our lunch, we wandered over to look at their collection of motorcycle helmets (my friend is in the market for a new one), so that was extremely convenient. Now to the food. Husband ordered their French dip, which was really flavorful and he really enjoyed it. My friend ordered their original tacos with ground beef, which she also enjoyed. They wanted a side of fries for both their meals. (The tacos normally come with chips and salsa) I ordered their fish tacos, which were some of the most beautiful fish tacos I've ever seen! I wanted sweet potato fries with my tacos and those were really good as well. I didn't have high hopes for the meal (I didn't have any expectations as we were originally only there to look at helmets) and was pleasantly surprised at the portions and quality of the food. It was all plated very prettily as well. Their fries were nice and so were the sweet potato fries. They have an extensive beer selection, under normal circumstances. The lines were all frozen so no draft beers for my companions. I did try one of their mixed drinks, the Georgia Peach: Evan Williams Peach whiskey with iced tea, and that was very refreshing. The place was very clean and the staff seemed happy. Service was a *little* slow, but maybe there was some stuff going on behind the scenes that they were kind enough to shield their patrons from. (Like maybe being short staffed) Overall nice experience and will be coming back again. read more

Nice place kind of out of the way but nice. I ordered a margarita, which was served in a mason jar but it was missing the saluted rim, who doesn't salt a rim? Usually I get ask "salt or sugar on the rim?" It was also very very sour. I ordered another drink, a martini but it comes with a shot of espresso but their expresso machine was broken so, I ordered "day at the beach" martini but they didn't have one ingredient so I ended up with sex on the beach. Why not remove them from the menu? The onion rings ere really good, I order them extra crispy, and the tatters were yummy too. read more

Stopped in with my grandson's hockey team. What a wonderful welcome. The group of 20 or so were seated in the same area and the servers were exceptional! They had a system to get drink orders and food orders. The food was wonderful and the service exceptional! Everyone received their food in a timely manner, and it was warm and delicious. I did not hear anyone complain about a thing. I would recommend Trak Houz. And take a peek at the Motor Sports store too! read more

My husband has season tickets to the K-Wings so we are always getting dinner before the games. We were thrilled to see Trak Houz took over Taphouse because we are not Taphouse fans at all and this is an excellent location for K-wings fans. The first time we came here we sat at the bar and we had excellent service. We ordered the trio dip appetizer and all of them were excellent. We loved the spinach artichoke dip! I had a cocktail with champagne in it and it was pretty tasty. Sweet but not too sweet. Our first visit was perfect! The second time we came in, I wish I could say the same. We sat at a table. I ordered an old fashioned and it was not good... at all. I was surprised to see a place with so many bourbon and whiskey options make a terrible old fashioned. I ended up ordering something else. Our service was extremely slow yet the server was always at the table next to us checking on them and bringing them drinks? I work in the service industry myself & my husband and I love to tip fat for great service. Unfortunately this wasn't the case. I ordered a salad and soup. The french onion soup was great but the house salad was disgusting. The lettuce was wilted and the tomatoes tasted bad. I took a few bites and couldn't eat it anymore. I really hope our experience next time will be a lot better! We will definitely give it another chance. read more

This is our first visit. Service staff is fantastic but the food is awful. French fries taste like cardboard. Two of us ordered burgers medium and rare and got well done - sooo dry. My friend ordered the chicken wings and I was upset for her. They were barely the size of a pinky and had enough meat on the bones to make maybe one McDonald's chicken nugget. Re-Opened under new name. Used to be TapHouse; now Trak Houz. Under TapHouse, service was below par, food was mediocre, nothing special, no attractive theme. Under new name Trak Houz, they seem to be way better. The theme is more clear. Still attached to Zeigler Motorsports. Huge selection of beers on tap. Many fine whiskey's, wines, spirits. I had buffalo chicken wrap. Very good because ingredients were super fresh. A lot of great taste going on. Warning its HOT ! Good thing I actually like hot spicy food. Wife had French dip. Meat was bland but still nice tender. French Dip lacked salt. Son had bbq pulled pork sandwich. Good. Fries are larger, so at first I thought they didn't give me enough fries, but because they were bigger, none of us finished our meal. Staff were super nice and attentive. Our first visit since the name/ownership change to Trak Houz and we were overall satisfied. We sat at the bar for lunch. I love that the restaurant opens up to the nextdoor motorsports store, and there are even a few tables situated in the store. It's just a different experience. Staff was friendly, service was a little slow for an otherwise quiet restaurant. We got lucky and hit happy hour, which gave us deals on appetizers and drinks. We had the Fender Flares to start, the tangy blue cheese sauce paired with the salty, crunchy bacon was very tasty! Maybe I'm a blue cheese fanatic but I thought the dish could have used a tablespoon more of the sauce - we had some topping-less spuds. We split a Cuban Sandwich and they divided it onto two plates for us - I like when they do this, although I guess I really just wanted a bite of my fiancé's sandwich instead of a whole half. We also tried the French Onion soup which was just okay. We'll be back and we'll be sure to try to hit happy hour again, especially when it's nice and quiet during the weekday. read more

Unfortunately I would not recommend Trak Houz. I may possibly attempt a second chance but I doubt that as well. We had reservations for 8 at 5:45pm prior to the Cody Johnson concert at Kwings. Understandable that they were busy (half our group has worked in the restaurant industry so we were very patient) BUT our order wasn't taken until 6:55. At this point we ordered our dinner and our 2nd drink and most of the rush had cleared out (the section we were in was bare). By 7:20 I asked to speak to a manager - no drinks in sight, and was completely shrugged off. Turned out our food/drinks was not rang in. By 7:30 still no drinks or sign of food (if you're keeping up we arrived at 5:45 and had only had 1 drink at this point). The manager completely dismissed us as if we were the problem. They ended up bringing less than 1/2 of the drinks we ordered and that was it for us. The server was busy yes but this was unacceptable, and the poor trainee deserved better all around. We ended up leaving at 7:45 and going to subway. The manager comped the few drinks we did have and we left a cash tip for the server/trainee. We watched 3 other tables walk out that night as well. read more
