I initially did a private lesson with someone, whose name I can't remember, at Coronado Golf Course many years ago and I had a bit of a bad experience. I left feeling more frustrated than I was when I first started because I was unable to hit the ball, even once, after following the techniques that I was taught. I was instructed to keep my arms as close to my body as possible and in doing that, I was unable to swing through because NEWSFLASH! I have rather large breasts blocking that pathway... HELLO!!!! I kept trying to tell the guy but I don't think he could relate, LOL, and surprisingly told me to stay the course with the "keeping my arms close" nonsense. After my first lesson lesson, I became convinced that I would never be able to golf because I have boobs and gave up the sport entirely, chalking it up to be something that was not for me. Fast forward to now, I decided to give it another go. I met with Shane and he broke everything down in a very simplistic way and what d'ya know!? I was able to hit the ball right away. What a difference having a great instructor makes! I would highly recommend hiring Shane for a private lesson. He turned something that was frustrating and seemed impossible to learn, into a sport that I look forward to learning more about. He is a great teacher! In each of the four bays, video and launch monitors are provided to view your swing. Recently, Ryan promptly returned my 8 & 9 irons due to a factory defect for replacement. This is the type of treatment I received during my lessons. Ryan and Lane were always available whenever I had any questions about my swing. They were always generous with their time when offering advice and recommendations. I love that when you need help, they're there but leave you alone to peruse in peace otherwise. Husband uses their golf bays to practice his swings when the weather isn't great. I just bought a pair of golf shoes and they were on sale! My size, perfect shoes and on sale! They definitely have the largest selection of golf shoes, both men and women's. They used to have kids' shoes too but didn't see any this time. Also carry golf clothes. Their selection of women's golf clothes is pretty impressive. Their selection of putters is second to none. Why is it that when you try out a new putter at a store, you can't miss?? I tried a Scotty Cameron putter and didn't miss any putts! Like 6 or 7 putts. The older sales guys only all stayed talking and laughing with that guy, while i kept trying to get their attention because I needed help adjusting my club size. They never once bothered to help me. So I'm going to get my new Pings at Galaxy Golf. I'm so disappointed in this place, as i was so excited to get my new set of clubs.
