Overall a nice course! My boyfriend always makes it a mission to golf where ever we travel and we had decided to try Los Prados Golf course out while in Vegas. He was a little iffy on how rentals would be. However he was pleasantly impressed with how he felt playing with rental clubs. As a rider I will say the carts have comfortable seating which made it easy to sit through 18 holes. Loved the views. It does heat up pretty fast throughout the day so I thought the 8:20 tee time was perfect weather. It started to heat up around 10:45-11 & we were done a little before 12 so it was not too terribly hot. read more

The course was ok, employees are rude and not helpful. I returned my cart and left my range finder on the cart. I went to my car and started to leave then came back to the cart drop off to get my range finder and the cart guy says he didn't see it. He said ask the other guy so I did, he said was it on the front bar of the cart I said yes then he says he didn't see it. So Sad they hire employees who are dishonest and thieves. Last night the Mrs & I attended the 39th annual Burns Night Supper held here at the clubhouse, in honor of Robert Burns, by the St. Andrews Society of Southern Nevada. The supper was well organized with a raffle, silent auction, bagpipes & highland dancers. A buffet line was set-up with loads of options from salads to roasted red potatoes & chicken breast with mushrooms, a rice pilaf, veggies & even haggis. Dessert was your choice of vanilla or chocolate cake. All in all, it was a wonderful night. The Mrs & I want to thank the folks on the committee that made it such a memorable night. And a big shout out to the staff of the Country Club that kept the evening rolling smoothly along, setting up, cleaning up & bringing out fresh food as needed. read more

We decided to try and find a place to play since we are here for work and someone mentioned Los Prados we checked it out and was surprised that after I think 2 it's 45 bucks. The staff in the pro shop was friendly. The tee boxes,fairways and greens were all in great shape. Some tough holes with the placement of the bunkers. Some narrow fairways. My first Golf course experience was phenomenal at Los Prados. Went ahead and played the 18 course alongside my younger brother and father. We all had a blast and will be back soon hopefully. The course itself is pretty big and it's full of Par 3's , Par 4's and 5's. I can easily say this is a good Course as your very first as it isn't so intimidating and all the people who work here are very nice. Thank you so much los prados! Easier course, not very long, and pretty wide open. I would recommend for all golfers.

The eight of us played here this past Wednesday. The golf course was proactive by informing us beforehand that the greens were going to be aerated. As such green fees will be reduced $65 to $55. It's a short course. We finished in 3 hours. Skipped one hole as it was being punched. And automatic two putts. I can't recall a golf course where they've got two back to back par 5's and back to back par 3's. Located in a gated community. Hubby showed ID at the gate as we drove up. Did a bag drop and parked. We'd like to play here again next time we are in Vegas. read more

I would have liked to golf here but on April 3rd it was the windyest day in Las Vegas so we cancelled out on our April 4th tee time at Los Prados within the 24 hour timeframe. I called LP to cancel 4 tee times and there didn't seem to be any problem with it at the pro shop. However, when I got my credit card statement, I noticed that Los Prados charged us $100 for each tee time cancellation. That's $400 For 4 tee times. When we called to inquire, all They said was it was spelled out on the confirmation about cancellations. I would think this happens all the time and LP could have mentioned when I called to Cancel or there would be more leniency in this regard. $400 isn't cheap. The head of the pro shop said contact him next year and he will do something special for us. But how do we know he will be there next Year. Lesson learned: cancel your tee time 24 hours before or face pricey fees. I've canceled many tee times before and have never been charged. This was an expensive lesson. read more

Live pretty close to here, it's in a 55+community usually no problem getting a tee time. Pretty cheap price to play here for locals. Short course, probably 5400 from the back tees so plenty of scoring opportunities, course is generally in very good condition, has some decent rough and it's very tight that's it's only real defense being as short as it is. Downside is pace is pretty slow, if you're a single definitely getting paired with older players that take their time, for the money not a bad track, not great but you can have a fun round here, several drivable par 4's for decently long players. read more

Played this course a few times and had my first bad experience on Sunday. They booked a group of three behind us. (a group of four) The group of three kept hitting into us so when the Marshall came around, I offered to let them play through. So long as this wouldn't be a problem. The Marshall insisted it would be fine and we let them play through. Once we got to the ninth hole, they told us we had to skip the 10th hole. With no one behind us on the tee box. They insisted we were playing too slow. Mind you we were not allowed to drive on the grass and had to search for our balls in the untamed Bermuda grass. After trying to reach an understanding with the Marshall, they told me that it's not what's behind you it's what's in front of you. Which makes no sense at all. We did not slow anyone's pace of play. In fact, we improved the pace of play of the group that was booked behind us. The tone of the Marshalls just came off as if they didn't care about our experience and only cared about their authority. I wanted to only give a one star, but I have had good experience here before. Not sure if I'll ever be back though. read more

Booked on GolfNow and it said we got a hot dog and a beer included, then the course said GolfNow shouldn't have offered it so they refused to give us our meal. 3. Course is literally filled with a bunch of jackasses 4. No price is worth this nonsense. Wont ever be returning. If I could give it a zero I would, came out here with my boyfriend to have a good day and after the 3rd hole it was ruined. We got paired up with an older couple and on the second hole they asked to brake off, being friendly we said it was okay and I'm not that well experienced but my boyfriend is. As we were getting ready to tee off on the 3rd hole the Marshall came up and recommended us to join back with the couple we were originally playing with. We kindly said thank you for letting us know and went on our way. We got to the 4th hole again and the Marshall said we were being to slow and we told him we were waiting on the group in front of us and they were still playing on the green he told us that the group didn't want to play with us because my boyfriend was giving me "training lessons" and that we need to catch up to them and play as a group. We ended up skipping the whole we were on to go to the hole the couple was waiting on playing. And we sat there for 15 minutes each hole we approached after that waiting on 2 groups in front of us. I stopped playing after hole 3 because this Marshall left me in tears and a waste of money read more

The hotdog and soda that is included is a great snack at the turn. Already made next week's tee time. Such a good deal. Edit: I still like this place- I would prefer it even more if my good 5 star review wasn't receiving harassing "compliments" from an employee telling us to not come to this place, that we're the problem. I really enjoy the course. It's a nice iron course if you're a semi long to long hitter... I usually never shoot more than a 3 wood here because it's pretty tight. It's not maintained exceptionally well as there's not really discernible fairways from rough but, I don't knock points for it because the grass is all cut medium short so it's playable from anywhere. They announce your groups last names at the first tee which is a cool touch. Based on the previous reviews, I felt the need to give a better, more recent update because I've never had a problem with dog poop, staff, pace of play, or course conditions. Geese poop sure... but it's their home not ours. I've played here 8 times and I attribute this course to my recent progress in my game... so all in all, it's a good practice course by my standards. ONE THING TO NOTE!!! THEY DO A TOURNAMENT ONCE A MONTH... CALL AHEAD TO ENSURE YOU DO NOT BOOK A TEE TIME ON TOURNAMENT DAY! DONT DO it!!! There's literally dog feces everywhere! Shame to the neighbors for letting their dogs go on the course and not cleaning after them. As a dog owner, I am appalled. One of my shots I had to drop to the left of the original spot cuz there was dog poo right in front of my ball Another hole I just played where it lies and rolled over some more dog doo doo on the way to the hole. A couple other holes, I was afraid to put down my putter while chipping in a shot cuz of the poo all over the grass. That's just nasty! And it's unsanitary! I'd rather have a dirty cart than play with dog feces everywhere. They need to get it together and sweep the whole course and clean this up So avoid this place, unless you like stepping on or avoiding dog poop while trying to concentrate on a shot Very unsatisfied read more

The corse was really nice. Compact but still pretty open. Carts were great and clean and look to be well cared for. The fairways and greens were in good shape and well tended. Greens were a little slow and hoppy, but still nice. The staff were all friendly. And the price for playing and a cart and a new glove was only like $40. If you don't mind driving through a rough part of town, you will be greeted by a maned security gate into a beautiful gated community. The course is absolutely beautiful at a reasonable price. My only complaints are, why sell over priced cigars with no option to light it and they over sell the course so it's very crowded. read more

I Played here late February. The green was a little hard, as expected but the fairways and rough was green and in good shape. No cart service on the course, no towels, no ice in the cooler but they have a cooler out for self service ice chest. Ss Beware of the cranky old lady working the pro shop. The other member of my party on separate check in also had issues with her. Here is my experience. The night before, my friend invited me to play at Los Prados on Sunday; tee time 8:05 booked under Patrick. I arrived early to find no practice range to warm up. At check in, I said to the lady in the pro shop, 8:05, Patrick. She said how many, I said one, she immediately became snarky and asked how many in your party? I said I don't know. My answer irritated her and she said to me, what do you mean you don't know how many...who made the reservation? I said to her, I guess it is someone named Patrick. She remarked to another worker in the pro shop like I wasn't present to hear her remark, these people don't know who they're playing with? I said to her, look, I am just paying for me, I don't know how many are coming (remember, I was invited to this tee time). She threw the receipt at me and mumbled under her breathe. As for my friend who invited me, he checked in a little while after me, he told her the same information, Patrick, 8:05. She said there is no Patrick at 8:05. She said there are 2 reservation for Patrick, on at 8:09 and one at 8:00, and the one at 8:00 has already checked in. His friend who made the tee time texted him the wrong time (8:05 instead of 8:09). He said to her, I guess the one at 8:09? While he was in the pro shop looking around, two guys had some credit at the pro shop and the credit was applied to the wrong person. One of the guy said to his friend, man, don't get on the bad said of her. I've played at golf 4-8 times a month. I played quite often at retirement communities, private and semi private courses. I expected to treated like an interloper at courses where Mercedes AMG S-Class and BMW M Models are a common place. The last place I expect to treated with snobbery and rudeness is at a common neighborhood in North Las Vegas. We played in front of a foursome, each with their own carts, they were breathing down our neck at every hole. They don't seem to understand that 4 people in 2 carts will not play as fast as 4 people in 4 carts. On this day, the tee time was delayed due to frost, and we had a shot gun start. When we finished our round on hole #14, we turned around our carts to head for the club house, not a single of the 4 seniors playing behind us made a cordial gesture (smile, wave, etc.) as we past them heading to the club house. I think the people who lives in this gated community and belongs to this club views non member as nuisance to their golf club and to their neighborhood. There are a lot of golf courses in Las Vegas that treat their guests with service and hospitality, Los Prados offered neither. read more

They've had a covid outbreak here closed down the bar and restaurant no cart service for drinks they won't give you ice or a discount for the inconvenience I was told I should have checked their website really you had no problem taking our money and never said a word about an outbreak I think that just shows this place is just about making that almighty dollar needless to say you lost customers read more

I'm a big fan of this course, and have recently been frequenting here many weekends with friends. Unfortunately, today was a different story as there were a few concerning moments during my trip. To begin, we booked around noon online earlier in the week and had a screenshot with our tee time. When we arrived, we were told that we were late and that our tee time was 15 minutes earlier than our screenshot showed by the man in the starters box. While I can understand that the system may be showing a different time (and that he has nothing else to go off of), blaming us when we had proof of our booked and approved time was unprofessional and unnecessary. Even worse, the older twosome in front of us was complaining that "the Asian groups always play slower and hit multiple balls" before they left impatiently. The man in the starters box not only agreed, but replied "Yes I know, I'll put you in front of them next time." Completely unfounded and again unprofessional. I will say that Scotty in the pro shop was apologetic and mentioned that he will relay our concerns to the manager. As paying customers we will not be coming here whilst employees are acting in this manner. read more

The course itself was very nice and was fun to play. However, we kept getting hassled by one of the Marshalls for pace of play. Meanwhile the group in front of us was a foursome that was holding everyone up. It was just me and my wife. We would complete each hole in about 4 minutes. It was really irritating especially since we were the third to last tee time of the day... really threw us off. We had a certain group behind us talking shit about my wife and I. Most likely someone that lived around the course since a buddy of mine had the same problem. I just wanted to have a good day out. It was unfortunate that happened, but the course and staff, outside of the Marshall that day, were great. Just be careful of the people that live around the course since they all live to be rude behind your back. read more

Booked a t time today for 12:24 pm as a single golfer. Arrived and checked in with pro shop, was told I was good to go and check-in with starter. Starter tells me I have to park my cart and get on the cart with the part of threesome. I said due to we are supposed to keep a six foot distance I didn't feel safe doing that at this time. He said then you can walk or book a later t time. Told me he could get me out at 2:30 like I am supposed to wait for an hour and a half. I unloaded my cart at my car and then called to speak with pro shop. Instead I got transferred to the same starter. After a few minutes he said to come up and join a twosome. What a nasty attitude he had, if he doesn't want to be there then he should quit and let someone who would be happy to have a job. read more

Nothing bad to say about conditions. Its a short and tight course, 5500 yards par 70 from the tips. Greens are very slick. Stay below the hole as often as you can. Pro shop staff is great. Food at the turn is good. read more
