The food here is delicious and the atmosphere is cozy. We ordered the mondo pizza. The crust was crisp and perfectly cooked, and the house made hot honey added to the flavour. I would suggest making a reservation. The restaurant seats very few tables and may turn you away, even if the restaurant looks quiet. read more

This was one of the most disappointing breakfast experiences I've had in Canmore. The service was mediocre from start to finish, and the food and drinks didn't make up for it. The menu listed croissants, but they were unavailable, which was frustrating since that's what I came to order. The bacon was undercooked and unappetizing. The chai latte was absolutely awful--bland, poorly made, and honestly undrinkable. With so many excellent cafés and breakfast spots in Canmore, I can't recommend wasting your time or money here. Well we were here for a large party, we had a party of 11 and it took almost 2 hrs for our mains to be plated and served. We literally watched multiple tables that showed up after us get served before us and out the door before we were served. We ended up being the last ones to be served, when the food started coming it took sooo long for the food to come out sporadically. Half the orders came out cold and warm, the veggies were cold. The difference between the 8oz steak and 12 oz steak doesn't seem to exist except in price. ( I might need to start travelling with a food scale). They didn't have enough food to complete the appy orders. For the cost of the meals and the service that came with it was a bit disappointing. If you're in a small party you might have a better experience. Other that that the atmosphere was ok pretty much at par for this category of dining. read more

Stayed in the hotel, so stopped by in the morning for a quick coffee. I had their 12 oz americano (3 shots), and it was kind of light for me. One good thing for me is that the coffee bean has a low acidic taste. I don't like bold and intense coffee, but 3 shots for a 12 oz was still kind of watery. But I had a great experience with the staff! She was super friendly and welcoming. I had a great time talking to her when waiting for my drink. Really love its Grab N Go section, it is very convenient for guests before leaving for the day/planned trip. The restaurant is clean and cozy. I would want to try their dishes and dinning in if I return in the future. read more

Had a pretty mediocre experience recently. there's an automatic 20% gratuity added to each tab, if you are using your wristband to pay. You can of course change it but it's so awkward. I don't mind tipping for great service, but this particular visit involved very mediocre service. The waitress asked us if we had made up our mind, we had been sat at a tiny table in an empty restaurant. The burger was OK. Would definitely not hook up my credit card to my wristband next time so I could select the tip myself. read more

We really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, there were too many issues that made the two dining experiences we had frustrating (dinner and breakfast). First, walking into a restaurant at 8 AM and being greeted by uncensored, explicit rap music was jarring and honestly inappropriate for the time and setting. It set a strange tone for the morning. Also, if you're going to play music over speakers, a business-level Spotify account would go a long way--frequent ad interruptions made the atmosphere feel unprofessional. The service was extremely slow, even though it wasn't particularly busy. Staff (manager included) seemed friendly but lacked basic knowledge of the simple menu, and we had to wait unusual amounts of time for basic items. Having to flag someone down to get their attention just to get a refill of water on multiple occasions made me with the staff was more attentive of their guests. All of the above is not what we were expecting from a restaurant aiming to be polished. To cap it all off, there was a "food" surcharge on the receipt that couldn't be explained by the waiter but was left on, nonetheless. The advertising was great but both experiences were let downs. Had the 8oz ribeye and it did not disappoint! It came with yummy broccolini and fingerling potatoes. The portion looked small but it was the perfect amount. I think it had a good sear, and crisp edges - not over cooked (asked for it medium rare). The blackened chicken also had great flavor, maybe slightly dry but still seasoned well. Great room service and large portions. Staff is friendly and happy hour is tasty. Really enjoyed their lamb pasta and gnocchi. Also their happy hour lamb burger, fried oyster mushrooms, and mussels! Good option after a long day of hiking and you can't move. read more

We have been here twice during our vacation and the food and service here are excellent! The food quality is amazing and my friends love their cocktails here. What a great experience! The food was such high quality and the dishes were unique. Loved it all!! Service is so detailed and made us feel very welcomed. The whole place is also very cool looking. Awesome luxury chateaux vibe. Would love to come back again! read more
