Its been a long long tine since I was here last, 12 years or so. We live out of state. However, we went back home for a funeral and found our small hometown now had RibCrib. I suggested to everyone we try it, as I remember it being pretty good. There were 15 of us and the waitress was good, but not great. It was a Thursday night, not super busy but waitress was having a hard time keeping up. We were seated, and the menus were like placemats. It did take a few minutes for everyone to decide on food, so we all ordered drinks 1st. The sweet tea was not the best I have ever tasted, the watermelon margaritas were awesome!! But the bar wad so backlogged that it took over 30 min to get a 2nd one. So I ordered 2 extras for me and my sister. AND, the waitress brought 3!! I was laughing so hard at this!! So, about 45 min after we were seated the food arrives. Sporadically, but this is normal with a large gathering. However, 2 meals were delayed. The manager came over and explained they wete out of smoked bologna. The 2 guys ordered something else and the manager comped their food NOW THATS CYSTOMER SERVICE!! Only reason I gave 4 stars. The ribs were so over cooked and dry, the okra was undercooked and soggy. The french fries were just okay. Most of the group was satisfied but not over the moon! read more

We are from out of town so it's my first visit to Rib Crib, and I couldn't be happier! I got the BBQ salad, and it was probably the best salad I've ever eaten! Glad we stopped! Saw Rib Crib as we were on a Sunday drive through Duncan. Seated quickly in a large sumptuous booth. Nice surroundings. We had a really nice waitress who was helpful with the menu. Whenever we stop at a BBQ place for the first time we always order the sampler plate with 2 sides. l noticed that 3 meats is only $1 more than 2, so l chose ribs, brisket and chicken breast. My wife did 2 and had sausage and bologna. All 5 meats were great and the ribs stood out and were excellent! 3 sauces on the table were mild, hot and carolina (mustard vinegar) Sausage was flavorful and delicious, bologna was good to but it needs to be on a sandwich, lol. Sides were also real good esp the pinto beans. Compliments to the Manager Colleen Giirone! She works well with her staff to make sure the food is as good as it can be and the service shines. We'll gladly be back, sooner than later. read more

Didn't realize this was a chain until I tried to check in. Sauce taste like it's mass produced from a bottle. Had ribs and pulled pork which were both decent, but nothing to pull off the road for when passing through town. Place is new and very clean and staff was nice and attentive. read more

I stopped in at the Rib King because I was layed over after making a delievery. I had a chopped brisket sandwich with green chiles on Texas Toast. I don't remember what it was called but I thought it was some of the best I have had. The prices were typical for a sit down place. I think people might find the service lacking. The waitresses were all teenaged girls. The girl serving me did all that was required but never made a connection with me the customer. It was subtle things like not asking how things were or bringing the bill to the table slighyly too soon. Just lack of experience and being withdrawn into her own world. I don't wish to punish Rib Crib too much. I went to a few places nearby and it was a similar story. There seems to be a limited labor pool to hire from. The residents appear to all be elderly or teenaged girls. read more

Good food . There were 11 of us and was waited on quick and we're attended on very well. So that was 11 happy customers. Not 1 complaint.

I love this place. They're very clean, and it's really nice inside. The price isn't bad for the amount of food. I don't think I've ever gotten anything here that I don't like. Their meat is very tender and juicy, and they have some of the best sauce I've ever tasted. The onion rings are phenomenal as well. read more

The food was good but let me tell you the service stinks in the bar area. There were no tables to sit at because they either had people at em and the ones that were empty was full of dishes and had not been bussed. They were filthy our entire visit. We sat at the bar. The bar tender was slammed. Why would they have her take orders and handle the entire bar area? Needless to say we got poor service because of the lack of staffing. No refills were brought. In fact we were never checked up on not once after the food was brought. I yelled for my ticket after we were done eating. A worker heard me but did nothing. The bartender finally showed back up behind the bar but was running drinks. I asked her for my ticket and her reply was "oh, are yall ready?" Like we were done quickly or something. We sat for 20 minutes done. I left a zero tip. First time I have ever done that. Rib crib needs help with staffing. read more

I was a bit disappointed with my visits to rob crib Duncan. The food was good, don't get me wrong, but something that big chain restaurants bring is this sort of lackluster attitude from servers and hosts. I understand the hard task of serving in a large format restaurant, I used to be a server, but the service each time I visited has been very rushed, lackadaisical and met with what seemed to be exhaustion from the wait staff. If management reads this, take it easy on your workers! It can really help how service is perceived in your restaurant. Food wise, I recommend the baked potato and take the meat plates over the sandwiches. The sauces provided on the table are great and pair well with most everything they serve. I do not recommend the cheese fries, they come out very over cooked and the cheese is usually hard to chew and stomach. read more

Waited forever to get food then had to wait forever again just to get check and to go box....all the waiters were just sitting in the bar area talking and not caring about customers... I know it was slow as in we were the only ones there until last half of our meal but there was only 4 tables and terrible service. read more

My family came to eat here on October 21. We were really dissatisfied with our service. It looks as though it is okay in this establishment to have friends come and camp out in sections. We found our server paying more attention to her friend then us or other paying customers. Our order was mostly correct. We were asked 10 minutes after we received our food if everything was correct which we replyed our coleslaw was supposed to be corn, she then turns around and walks over to the table with her friend and starts chatting. We observed not only us receiving this treatment but also the table behind us. Our son never was asked if he wanted his dessert after his meal. And we had to ask for our check.
