Our waitress recommended the hot honey pizza and it was SO good...a delicious white pizza base with pepperoni, long hots, and the perfect amount of ricotta dollops. The crust was perfect! This place is bigger than it looks on the outside. I get pizza everytime, it's one of my favorite places. The crust is good, the flavor is good, and it comes out fast. I've gotten fries, mozzarella sticks, salad before! Everything has been good. The service is fast and nice. They also have trivia on. Thursdays too! read more

My husband and I live in Brooklyn and absolutely love pizza at baseline- this spot completely knocked our socks off. They have a hot honey pie with ricotta which was my favorite rendition of that style I've ever tried. I also loved the Uncle Sal pie which had a base that was a blend of their (deserved) award winning Margherita sauce and a red pepper cream sauce- super unique and delicious! The owner, Michael, also introduced himself to us and was so sweet and proud of his craft. 10/10 would recommend to anyone in the area! read more

I've had Ricca's for takeout before, and their pizza is very good. Today I went for dine in, and enjoyed the food. Service was quick despite being busy. One thing I will say is that their menu lists incorrect prices so they need to update them. We looked at our receipt after getting home, and the prices we were charged were about $2 more than the menu listed. read more

They have a brick oven where their pizzas are cooked fresh. I havd the margherita pizza and mushroom.pizza, both excellent selections. Both full of flavors and the right amount of crunch to the bite. Perfectly cooked! They have many other popular pizza selections and menu items. This spot offers draft and drink selections as well as seasonal crafts. First trip here was impressive. Unassuming from the outside but really nice interior. The pizza we had was awesome- brick oven with real split wood. So many good options it was tough to decide honestly. Went with the fig and ricotta and didn't regret it. Great crust. Ribeye on the Italian cheesesteak tasted fresh and the roll and fries were both great. Most impressively- the bartender was sweet and knew her way around an excellent cocktail. So great pizza and cocktails? Yea you're getting both here. I noticed they have an outdoor area/outdoor bar which would be awesome in warmer weather. I was in town for a kids soccer tournament which I believe caused the place to be packed. With that said the pizza was top notch and the staff, though overwhelmed, were professional, friendly, and courteous. I had the meatball pizza which was perfect great flavor and the crust was the right balance of chewiness and soft. Would recommend taking a detour to eat here. read more

Recent visit on a Friday evening around 6pm, not terribly crowded but everything else was terrible. We were seated and got our food about 1.5 hours later. NO BREAD ON THE TABLE, NO WATER REFILLS FIR US IR 2 CHILDREN AND NO EXPlANATION (until asked) Why our order wad taking so LONG ( 4 adults, 2 children ages 7 & 4) Our waitress was more concerned with chatting up her friends seated nearby! An explanation was given after we asked and was told that our tickets didnt print in the kitchen. Outside seating wasnt even open. If it had been, the staff would have been EVEN MORE OVERWHELMED! If our waitress had been mire attentive. She would have picked up on the error a lot quicker. read more

Great food, great atmosphere, and great service. We booked a party last minute for a Friday night a few days in advance for their outdoor area. It was roughly 15+ plus at the time and ended up being almost 30 people. The night of the event it was very chilly so they made accommodations to move us inside even though the house was very busy. Everyone in our group was treated well and very much enjoyed the food, drink and atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place any day of the week! Do yourself a favor and try the Italian Cheesesteak. Pizza was amazing. I will visit again.

The Italian cheesesteak without a doubt is the best cheesesteak I ever had and that's including anything in South Philadelphia. Also the mamas meatball pizza as well as the mamas meatball Parmesan sandwich are very very good Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone passing through the Hammonton area on the way to the Jersey shore FYI part of the great taste is due to the family from way back being great Italian bakers and so their rolls for their subs and their pizza dough is made daily by them and this makes their food so incredible and unique. This place is hard to decide how many stars to give. The pizza? 4-5. The service? 1-2. Sigh. I've been here 5 times now. The crust on the pizza is so good. The fig pizza is my favorite but the bruschetta one is super good too. Partner likes the different chicken ones. It the service. Woof. We've sat at the bar twice. The bartenders make amateur barely passable cocktails and their service is even lower. Numerous mistakes or forgotten things each time. One time we sat at tables and there was a private event outside and somehow only had one bartender to serve them AND the restaurant. Our first drinks came AFTER our food. Why isn't management helping at that point. Tempted to never come again cause service just gets worse and worse ever visit. This place is fantastic! My sister and I stumbled across it today and we decided to go in. It is a family owned business and they greeted us with such warmth! What really drew me in was the smell of the brick oven pizza. So intoxicating! Anyway, we ordered the gorgonzola gnocchi--delicious! We also had the mistletoe martini and a FRESH limoncello cannoli. My wife and I are in love with their Wild Mushroom Pizza. The crush is so good and the toppings are so well done. It's basically a white pizza with a mushroom sauce, mushrooms, and scallions. Discovered this place while driving through Hammonton and so glad we did. We opted to dine at the bar where they had a very active and friendly bartender. He told us about some of his cocktails and offered us a tasting of the Sour Cherry Martini (which we ended up ordering). For our main course we ordered the Award Winning Pizza and gnocchi, but their pizza was the star of it all. Perfectly crisp and just the right amount of cheese. Another friendly worker came to greet us and gave us some background on their pizza and business. To top off the meal they came out with 1 blueberry and 1 original cannoli. Highly recommend the blueberry cannoli which is so fitting for Hammonton is known to be the blueberry capital of the world. We are celebrating with the Ricca family at their 10th Anniversary in downtown Hammonton and boy is it fun and delicious. Ricca's Brick Oven Bistro and Bar is located at the corner of Fairview Ave and Egg Harbor Road. The brick oven pizza has such a great flavor and they have a huge variety to choose from. Devon provided awesome and quick service. Everything was hot, prepared to order and delivered with all the expected accompaniments. We were serenaded by the DJ & Radio Host, Nicky G. Dancing while eating. Nothing finer. The pasta sauce was silky and sweet as it should be. The fresh bread and salad were yummy and satisfying. Everytime we are here, we are happy to share a great meal with friends and family. See you here next time. Don't forget that in the spring, summer and fall, there is even more space outside for family get togethers and pizza parties. We had a great time and can't wait to try another pizza round next time. Excellent Pizza!!! They know pizza, and they nailed it!!! What they also know, are handcrafted drinks!! To start, we ordered a wild mushroom pizza and a margherita pizza. Neither of them disappointed!!! The mushroom pizza flavors of sauce, cheese, mushrooms, were delectable!! Margherita was similar in its own flavor. Then there were the drinks. My personal favorite was the fig cosmopolitan. It had perfect balance of vodka and mix, shaken to perfection! The bartenders pour was on point. Their pizza, chicken parm sandwich, and tails are delicious. We can only order take out here due to their obnoxious rule of "no sharing pizzas" if you dine in. I have two kids and I want to walk her from the house and eat a pizza outside by the cozy fireplace and have a local beer but this rule keeps us away. The service also needs to be better because we have had terrible service when we did oblige and not share a large cheese pizza with my family.
