Guy in charge started yelling at me that i should never expect that the door would not rot. I was stunned, but asked if that meant that he was refusing to honor the express warranty. He told me that he would do so "once" (meaning that if the replacement door of same type also rotted, he would not honor the warranty, which was a direct violation of the terms of the warranty). Best of all, i had to threaten legal action to actually get the replacement door after many months of delay ...might have actually been more like a year, but i am not certain. The guy, who i understood to be a manager, was so nasty that i am really shocked. Could have been a one-off, but just don't know. I will certainly not frequent them again, and when i have had contractors do work on the house since that time, a condition is that they not purchase anything on my job from Shepley. I realize that they don't need my business, but what other recourse does a consumer have? No one should spend their money at a place that treats its own customers with contempt.

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. They engage in DECEPTIVE practices and do SHODDY work. They apologized in writing and offered to remove it and refund us. But they strung us along and did not remove the countertop until we could not longer dispute the charge with our credit card. After the uninstallation they sent an email stating they were issuing a refund but they never did and we could no longer reach them. I do have emails confirming they were to issue the refund so I am pursuing legal action. They are very good at making you think they will take care of things but then they stall and stall and its now obvious I should have never trusted them.
