Ok, the Chinese buffet food is not very good to me. It just kind of tastes the same. Typical mall food court Chinese food. But the sushi? Good sushi in this area is really hard to find. I went in with a serious craving for sushi, and since I work on base I figured I'd swing by and try it. I went simple with a Philly roll and a spicy salmon roll. The sweet lady who made it offered to add sauces, tempura crunch, and it made a super simple roll into a very tasty one. The rolls are pretty thick, I got two thinking one wouldn't fill me up but I could only finish one. For the two rolls I paid $13, which considering how big they were wasn't bad. All their rolls start 5.95 and go up I believe 13 bucks. If you're on base and want good sushi, try it. It's not a fancy sushi restaurant but it's a good option for the limited restaurant selection in the area. read more

Having heard about the sushi from guys at work, I decided to grab some takeout for me and my wife. Unfortunately, Rice King doesn't appear to sell sushi on week nights. Anyways. The food looked like typical Chinese buffet food, except lesser quality and 95% of it was fried and covered in some sort of sauce. There was one dish with veggies and it was beef and broccoli. I have to admit I was extremely disappointed in the selection. Likewise, I was disappointed after eating the meal. The chow mein was only noodles, no veggies, and the crab rangoon was hard/stale. The hot and spicy chicken was mostly breaded crust with little if any meat. This may have been the worst quality food I have eaten in a very long time. I will probably never go back. Shame on me for walking into a fast-food Chinese restaurant and expecting quality food. The only reason this place isn't getting one star is because it will deliver what one would expect from this genre of restaurant. read more

I can not give this place any stars just as I did not receive an apology. We ordered lowmein and beef with broccoli for the kids. When they were about half way through my daughter noticed something that looked like a grain of rice in her food, it wasn't, it was a maggot(YUCK). We were disgusted then shocked when I went to show it to the manager and she grabbed it with her hand and tried to make it seem as if it was something else and smashed it between her finger ( yes to make the evidence disappear) then she asked if I wanted something else to eat! I said no there are maggots in your food get rid of it. After a while of no it wasn't and yes it was I told her look we got a photo of it so she offered to refund my money and I took it, yet the whole time this woman was unapologetic like she just didn't care. As we left the place we could hear her yelling at someone in the kitchen in a very loud and angry voice. I will not recommend this place to anyone and I feel sorry for anyone that has eaten there before . Marines deserve better than this. By the way I didn't see her pull the beef and broccoli or the noodles from the serving line. read more

Ate here shortly after they opened and loved it! Have since been 3 times and each time the food was great. I think the rice served here is the best I have ever eaten. It is so soft and moist and fresh and not dried out and hard. My husband got a California Roll from the Sushi bar and loved it. The prices are decently priced and I feel like you get a good amount of food for what you pay. I think Rice King is better than Panda Express in food quality. We will definitely be frequenting here more often. read more

I went here the first time since traveling here from my hometown in California. I had a huge craving for some Chinese. Seeing as we live on base we decided to try this Chinese restaurant. At a first glance it looks good. The set up is almost like Panda Express. You order in line and they add whatever you want. I got chow mein with terriaki chicken and orange chicken. I asked for extra terriaki sauce. The chicken was ok and the orange chicken was equal or less than Panda Express. The noodles lacked more flavor. The service was ok. The ladies were polite and the food was ok for being fast food. The second time I came in I actually ate in the restaurant. I came in during lunch time for the Marines. Despite this the line wasn't too bad and the ambiance was still friendly. I had chow mein and terriaki chicken. The last time I ordered orange chicken I couldn't finish it all. Overall it's a pretty good bang for your buck. read more

Health inspection should come and eat here every single day. I think that if you are going to serve food to military base peeps, make sure it's good food. Clean. 100 percent health inspection at all times. We ordered the sweet and sour chicken. As I was making my order I can see the butcher in the room cutting meat that was falling into a bucket in the ground and pieces of the meat and blood were dripping into bucket from table he was cutting on. Yes yes yes! Glad they had some egg drop soup because I was craving it with this hangover. I usually get the orange chicken & mushroom chicken. Pretty delicious! The workers are always nice and they give good portions. Oh, the sushi place right next to it is pretty good too! read more

Meh. Was pretty average. Can be kind of pricey in my opinion and nobody that worked there was friendly.

The sushi prices are not fair ,however it is delicious and on base so I'll bite te bullet and buy it. The Chinese buffet type food however is a different story, I don't recommend it. read more
