I always make a trip to this place whenever I am in New Bern. The staff is friendly. The food comes out in a reasonable amount of time. I recommend calling ahead and picking it up. Their portions are generous AND they taste good. It's not often you find a place that offers both quality food and in large amount. Truly a getting your money's worth here. My favorite here is the fried chicken wings. I always eat them right when they get in my hands, so I don't have a picture of them. But they are juicy and the batter they use is light. The restaurant has two street entrances, one to the left and one to the right. There are 3 parking spots parallel to the front of the building. If those are taken up, there are more spots on the northern side of the lot (to the right if you're facing the front of the building) Highly recommend. I spent 20 years in the SF Bay area with the best Asian food in the country aside from New York (where I am originally from). After moving here, I was got used to be continually disappointed. I can tolerate this place. This crew is from Cali and she said that they tried to serve what was popular in California but the patrons here like things a certain way. (fried, gravy, sauces...ugh) I always get salt and pepper shrimp...Not a single place would be without this staple in a major city, but for ENC, its good. We ordered too much for three of us: wonton soup, hot and sour soup, sesame chicken, pork fried rice, pork lo mein, steamed wontons- but it was all good! We are new to the area... haven't ate out much due to finances. My husband and I were craving some Chinese takeout. We looked on Yelp and this place had decent reviews. This is some of the best Chinese food we have ever had. We ordered Crab Rangoon, dumplings, egg rolls, lemon chicken, chicken teriyaki and egg fried rice. Don't let the non descript outward appearance deter you from going inside. The food here was really good. Typical Chinese takeout options. There wasn't much seating to speak of but we were ordering takeout so it didn't matter. This place was so clean I was very impressed and the food was done by the time I got there less than 10 min later. read more

The food here is delicious! But more importantly, the kitchen is so clean and the service is fantastic. My 6 year old commented on the cleanliness when we went in to pick up our food. We were in town for 2 days the 2nd night we needed something simple for dinner as it was already around 8 pm and everyone was tired. Found this place on yelp. We decided to take a chance. Well ..... it was really good. Nothing fancy, just tasty well prepared food. If you're a person who likes Chinese take out, I'd definitely recommend this place. Im from out of state and whenever i come to new bern, i have to eat here. It sounds silly but this is amazing chinese food. The general tsos chicken (sesame too) is super crispy unlike the usual mushy chicken at other chinese food places. We get combo lomein and plenty of meat and noodles arent too mushy and overcooked. We usually get eggdrop soup..which is the same as most chinese places but you cant really mess that one up. We've also gotten the buffalo wings which are a little saucy and messy but chicken is still crispy and i just dipped in the buffalo sauce. Its so good and portions are large! First time here and very impressed! I was expecting the cute Chinese boxes, but they use the white styrofoam take out containers filled! Ordered the small size and it came with two scoops of white rice, and sooo much food! I was very impressed! We called, drove up to the window pressed the button and the sweetest lady sent our order out! Highly recommend! Spicy food was definitely spicy! Def going back!! read more
