Probably won't be returning. I make better nachos at home. It all tasted like it came out of can. We ordered meatless meat nachos and a beef burrito. The prices were reasonable and the food was ready on time. The person was friendly. The nachos had fresh lettuce and that's about it. Had canned cheese sauce, not queso sauce. The red salsa, pico de gallo and guacamole all tasted like the stuff that comes in a jar or sealed plastic container at the grocery store. The meatless meat might have been gardein. It wasn't Impossible Meat or Beyond Meat. The portion on the "meat" was generous but the toppings were sparse. There was a 3oz black to go container of each. There was supposed to be shredded cheese but I only found a couple pieces. I had to add my own toppings when I got home. Wife says there didn't seem to be shredded cheese in her burrito either. We ordered $16 steak tacos and $13 chicken tacos and they were tasteless, similar to grocery store bought microwaved tacos. Yuck! The rice and beans were vomitos. We fed it to our dog and she refused. Smart. There are so many better places to eat than this train wreck. You pay a premium here for awful quality. I picked up two beef and cheese empanada combos & two chicken, tamale combos and cheesy rice and beans with beef. I thought $60 was kind of high for the food. But we picked up our orders and took them home. The food was acceptable but not fantastic. I was very disappointed to see small thimble size cups of the green sauce and sour cream and pico de gallo. For $60.00 they could have given us bigger containers of the condiments. The chicken tamale sampler was very dry and very small. One chicken tamale would not be enough for a person, even though it came with rice and beans. The cheese and beef empanada combo also would not be enough for a meal. You have to order two. Only one empanada and only one tamale come with each of the combos or samplers. The rice and beans with beef order with cheese was good. They don't have paper menus so it's difficult to understand how many and how much come with an order.... That being said, the empanadas at fresh grocer are so much better. Reviews are meant as constructive criticism so that restaurants not doing their best have an opportunity to improve. And to help other consumers not make the same monetary mistake. So, here goes. 1st off, why can they not give you 3 different taco types? Why are they only sold in 3's? That is insane. 2nd Veggie tacos: unseasoned, steamed vegetables with a smattering of melted cheese on top. Come on, couldn't even throw a few beans in there? 3rd: Nachos.... stale chips, orange nacho "cheese" sauce, nuff said. 4th: chicken burrito...bland, rice undercooked, 0 vegetables. 5th jalapeno sauce: weird creamy calamity. I used to come here all the time and left pleased. I ordered a veggie bowl and it was not what I expected. the veggies look and tasted like they were from a frozen bag from the grocery store. Peas, carrots, okra and water chestnuts on a burrito bowl? No thanks. Not what it used to be. read more

Decided to stop here after passing it many times a week. I wish I had stopped sooner! The nachos are great, the fried beef taco was the best, and they even had tamales (most fast food Mexican doesn't offer them) that were also very good. Only a two seat bar inside and a picnic table outside (hence the name "to go") so we enjoyed the nice weather and sat outside. We will definitely be coming back. read more

This place is disgusting. First the chicken has no flavor whatsoever. It's cooked in a crookpot and completely bland. You are better off spending your money at Taco Bell. Secondly the owners are scamming and taking advantage of their customers just to earn a few more dollars. I ordered my food online on Wednesday and was not given their advertised 15% discount and when I called to ask about it they refused to honor their discount because they said I didn't write it in the comments when I ordered online. We like to support local businesses but this was really terrible. I ordered 3 beef tacos and the taco shells were out of a box and I tried to lift them up and all the filling came out. My husband had tamales and said they were awful and hard. We paid extra for the homemade salsa and it was watery and the tomatoes weren't ripe. We ordered for take-out and two meals was over $40.00. Such a disappointment. We definitely won't order from here again. read more

This place was the worst. I ordered rice steak and beans. They gave me rice, beans, but also some kind of beef and platinum on top. It litteraly looked like soup. So I requested for them to change the order. And then they said they did not see that on the recipt but the recipt was wrong to what I chose. I feel so bad because the service is great. However, the food was terrible. The shrimp tacos were bland, however the shrimp wasn't over coooked. The beef tacos as well as the beef empanadas were horrible! They taste as if someone ground up spam and threw cheese on them. The pico de gallo was actually pretty amazing. But they only give you a small cup to go along with the tacos so it's not really a big wow factor. All in all, I feel like I may have gotten a bad batch of beef, so I am definitely willing to change my rating and try again, because like I said the service was great. But as of right now the food? Outstanding! I was greeted by a friendly young lady who helped me through the menu. She made recommendations which was so helpful. I had a lunch combo with a beef taco and beef empanada. They were amazing. Lean seasoned meat, not greasy, with fresh toppings. The salsa/pico and green hot sauce rocked. Needless to say, even the rice and beans were yummy. I was lucky to eat when outdoor seats were available (Two high tops and 4 benches. They also have a small counter inside as well. The food was so good, I would have eaten it in my car or taken it with me. No biggie! Most folks seemed to be doing take out anyway. No complaints about the prices either! The food use to be so good I didn't care how expensive it was...however my past few orders were unlike anything I've experienced with rnb. from missing food to stale empanadaa. soggy lettuce and sand paper chicken. oily bags is the minor prob when your order isn't completed right.
