Me and hubby started out on Carne Asada platter which is a surprisingly large steak served with rice, refried beans and salad topped with avocado slices along with basket of chips and salsa. Everything was tasty and fresh. My son ordered chicken tostada one time and we were blown away and now are fixated for the time being on 1 chicken and 1 steak tostada although both are delicious truth be told there us something about the juicy charred chicken tostadas that are indescribable so if you only have room for one try the chicken first but both are great. Also can't beat the price which was incredibly inexpensivE. This is a nice place and it was clean. They only serve bottled water to customers who want water, which I was fine with. Fresh salsa and guacamole were very good. Chicken tamale appetizer was pretty good. Soup should be served so customer has enough time to eat soup before entree arrives. Tomato based Azteca soup was served just before vegetarian fajita meal arrived. So I packed soup to go. We have been going to Mexico Lindo for well over 12 years now. Tonight was one of the best. The carne asada seasoning for the steak was dynamite in the fajita especial. We ordered from here on the Saturday of memorial weekend. We were told the food would be ready in 30 minutes. An hour and 30 minutes later the food was finally ready. The restaurant did not have an explanation and could not give an estimate of when the food would be ready. We ordered dinner for 4+ toddler so it wasn't that much food. My husband told me they didn't start cooking the order until he arrived and they wouldn't answer his questions in person either. I've been to Mexico Lindo a few times! I think the restaurant is very good. There are only a few critiques that I have, they are that the salsa was a bit too spicy for my liking. My boyfriend and I ordered salsa and chips for our appetizer. It was a bit too spicy for someone like me, but it was very tasty and fresh. I ordered the verde enchiladas with flour tortillas instead of corn. The verde sauce was great but again, a little too spicy for me. But it is very good and has great flavor. My boyfriend ordered the $5 taco Tuesday special which allows you to get 3 chicken tacos for $5. Toppings are additional which is a little ridiculous but it is definitely worth getting the pico, some cream, cheese and lettuce on the tacos. The flour tortillas are wonderful and definitely hand made! We both enjoyed the tacos more than the enchiladas but the enchiladas were wonderful as well! Overall, Mexico Lindo is a fabulous Mexican restaurant with great service, delicious food and reasonable prices! Definitely stop by for their taco Tuesday deal! read more

Decent Mexican food, small interior but cozy and festive. What I like: Chips were crispy, salsa was always fresh. Salsa seems to be homemade which I really appreciate. Beef burritos have good flavors and good size too. Staff is friendly, though at times they may be understaffed but it's ok, it's a family-owned business and I'd support that any day! First let me say it's never a good sign when you enter a restaurant, and there are no signs of life. However, the food did not disappoint (so far). We'll see if it betrays at the commode. The horchata and chips set the meal up quite nicely. Admittedly, we added some hot sauce from the table to our chips and our meals. My partner in crime for the meal commented that hot sauce at the table was good enough to buy for his private supply. Also it is worth noting that my burrito was a food coma-inducing sized behemoth. Definitely enough for leftovers. The horchata was by far the highlight, sweet and relieving, in contrast to the heavy flavors or the burritos and salsa. The $8 burrito special on Monday definitely beats Chipotle in terms of girth and taste. It was nice and assuming one gets the specials and sticks to water the price is not bad, although, that strategy comes with the loss of the meal's horchata. read more

For a tiny little Mexican place just off the main strip of night life and restaurants, this place is truly authentic. You can tell it's a family run place with recipes that were passed down. The food is delicious and the prices are absolutely fantastic. I got 3 shrimp tacos for $7.50, each with a good amount of shrimp and a filling portion. Honestly the best nachos I've ever had. This is a small authentic Mexican spot in downtown Bethlehem with lots of character and even better food. When we arrived there was only one guy working. The took the orders and then made the food which was amazing. Everything was so fresh. We had nachos made with fresh corn tortilla chips, the creamiest retried beans and melted cheese. We split the lunch fajitas with shrimp and steak, which was more than enough for 2 people including plenty of fresh grilled shrimp and steak, rice, and grilled onions and peppers. I do not like to do this especially on a tough time like this but after several attempts to reach the owner over the phone I have been unsuccessful. Please take my advice friendly and do what needs to be done. I picked up an order yesterday and I threw it away. I am not the complaining type and want no refund. I want this to come to your attention and then I will remove the review "I am referring to the owner". My order took 40 minutes to be made. No problem , I would wait another 40 if I had to. But serving food the way you did might put someone's life in danger. I could see the burned off flat-top pieces blending in my meats and cheese, giving the cheese a dark brown color (cheese is either white or yellow not sure how you manage to make it dark brown. Oh wait the chicken did that cause it was cooking on a grill that was not properly scraped after making the previous order). I am in the food industry buddy and what you served me yesterday was pure garbage. Make it right please. Follow serve safe steps and cook right will ya? As someone that carries very little cash, this put me in a bad and embarrassing position when I didn't have enough money to pay for my meal. I love authentic Mexican cuisine so we stopped here for lunch on our way to Stroudsburg this afternoon. The restaurant is nestled at the end of rowhomes with metered parking right out front. I was surprised that the place wasn't packed at 12:30 on a Friday but all the better for us. The restaurant has socially distanced tables, provides hand sanitizer and the staff was all wearing masks. We were immediately greeted and served complimentary chips & homemade salsa which was delicious- lots of onion, Jalapeno & cilantro and just the right amount of heat, the chips were freshly made as well.I ordered 2 tacos - 1 Pork Carnitas the other the Mexico Lindo, both were delicious but the Mexico Lindo was my favorite. The meats were marinated & seasoned perfectly and they're generous with the Oaxaca cheese. Hubby ordered the Chicken Burrito and almost fell out of his chair when he saw how gigantic it was, he could only eat half. The menus provided had coupons on them but when I presented the 20% one I was told I couldn't use it, no valid excuse other than the menus are single use (‍?). My wife and I ate there for the first time. After a full day of driving and still an hour from home we took a chance and we're so glad we did! Tortilla chips were fresh and unsalted which made me happy. The salsa was obviously made in house and delicious. It did have a slight kick but not overboard. We both had fajitas- shrimp for her, steak and chorizo for me. I'm hard to please and rarely go back to a restaurant because I'm usually disappointed. We stopped in on a road trip to Boston. We picked up a deal on line and thought it would be worth a try and boy were we glad we did! Unlike many Mexican restaurants the food here is not salty. It is very fresh and they use a hefty helping of cilantro in almost every dish! The guacamole came out in this super cute molcaje and it tasted superb! We had to keep ourselves from scarfing it up before our tacos came out. And that was tough to do! We got carnitas tacos and they were so delicious with the guacamole and the salsa. We both said how much we loved the salsa verde. They have lots of daily specials and a great atmosphere to bring us back. The owner is the chef and their food is very authentic.
