a bowl of guacamole and chips

La Lupita is your classic Mexican restaurant- full of color, music, and excellent ambiance. The staff are extremely friendly and answer any of your questions. The highlight of our meal though was the guacamole. It was fresh and flavorful.. and photogenic!

Going back to my old spot..

The delivery service was great, the food was good but the delivery portions were for a 5 yr old like a miniature scoop of rice it probably could fit it in a small coffee cup the refried beans were like drizzled on the side and probably 2-3 tablespoons of guacamole ...insanely small for 13 bucks, no way near what you get if you were dining in.. the tortillas and chicken were ok but that was it.. if I ever date a midget this would be the spot..time to search other spots.

Flautas, tostadas, and guacamole from La Lupita in Bethlehem, PA

A decent spot for large, loud groups that want to bring their own alcohol. The place is usually empty during the day, but it can get busy at night with lots of groups of local college students. The food is average...there are definitely better Mexican options in the area. But they do give free chips and salsa with your meals and can accommodate very large parties, so that is a plus.

Vegetarian California with rice and beans ($11) Great filling meal, lacking flavor in a lot of places sadly.

A mediocre mexican food restaurant with top service. Restaurant was appropriately busy on a Saturday afternoon but we had fantastic, personal service from our waitress. The menus were a bit difficult to read (typos, missing info, etc) but our waitress helped answer any and all of our questions. The rice and beans were quite bland which was a letdown, but the Vegetarian California (cheese taco, cheese enchilada, guacamole supa) was quite tasty. Always a huge fan of red and green sauce so was pleased that the enchilada included both. Would love to return if the food and menu were updated and made more customizable. Also very stuffy inside without any windows to physically open. But hold on to your staff, they are key.

El grande burrito $9

I really want to give this place 4 stars but I'm going to give them 5 stars for the following reasons: I ordered an el Grande burrito ($9) which comes with either chicken, beef, or pork. When they asked me which meat I wantes I couldn't decide so I just told them to pick for me. When I got my burrito it came with ALL the meats, plus steak plus chorizo, because the lady couldn't decide as well! And it tasted great! One downside is that the rice which came on the side was quite bland, but that's a minor downside compared to their generosity. Also they came to check up on me at least 3 times to make sure the food was good and I was generally satisfied. Top notch service!

taco supreme

Met up with an old friend for lunch while stopping back in the area. Once walking in we were greeted with a smile and were given the choice of seating. The woman brought over the delicious chips and salsa to snack on while we were figuring out what to order. They changed their menu around since the last time I've been here. The menu items seem to be more "organized" than last time. Though it still took me forever to figure out what I wanted to get. Succumbing under the pressure of being the last one to order, I ordered the taco supreme which my eyes had landed on as it came to be my turn. I am no disappointed though. No way. The food came out and looked beautiful. Most importantly it was extremely tasty. I also added this chipotle sauce they had on the table. Damn that was good too....side note: I need to figure out what sauce that was cause I want some. There were three tacos served with refried beans and rice. I accidentally poured too much hot sauce on my last taco which led me to ask the woman for sour cream to help cool my tongue...she smiled as she saw me with my empty glass of water and urgency for something to cool my tongue down. Despite my foolishness with hot sauce. this place has always put a smile on my face...since freshman year at Lehigh till my post Lehigh time now.

Have you ever been set up by management and then raided by the police while dining here?

Stop conducting illegal business within their establishment and maybe you won't get nailed.....pretty common sense huh?

I'm from New York, and my sister moved to Pennsylvania, so she introduced me to this spot. Now every single time I visit her, I somehow end up right back here because the food is just that good. They used to have a second location that closed, but honestly, it doesn't even matter because this one was always my favorite, the food here is on another level. We always start with the Brussels sprouts, the fried green tomatoes, or the hush puppies. You simply cannot go wrong with any of them. The appetizers are always hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. And then there's the mac and cheese... absolutely to die for. Even the children's mac and cheese is ridiculously good. Creamy, cheesy, comforting, exactly how mac and cheese should be. Their salads deserve their own shoutout too. The goat cheese salad with pickled eggs is perfection, and the Caesar with cornbread croutons? Genius. It's the kind of detail you don't expect but end up craving every time you think about it. But of course, the real star of the entire place is the cornbread. Truly heavenly. They serve it warm, and the whipped butter melts right into it, it's honestly dangerous how good it is. I could eat the entire dish by myself without hesitation. The service is always great, quick, friendly, and welcoming. It's one of those places where the vibes feel just as good as the food tastes. On weekends, it does get packed, so making a reservation is probably a smart idea. All in all, I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. The food, the atmosphere, the consistency, everything hits. I will always come back whenever I'm in the area, and yes... mostly because the cornbread is truly that good.

The atmosphere was very nice, our server was engaging , and the featured entrees had great flavor. We mentioned this to our server who agreed that this batch was unusually very small. We made mention of our disappointment to the hostess at our departure. She was kind enough to remove 1 order from our final bill which still left us paying $23.00/0 oysters.. We were seated right away in an open format atmosphere with the best balance of light and dark. The bar across from us looked fantastic. What we noticed right from the start is how well the staff works with and for each other to bring guests the best dining experience possible. Maddie was our server. She was kind, professional, patient, and knowledgable about both food and drink on a grand scale. Her recommendations were stellar. I had a refreshing gin and basil martini as well as their beef carpaccio, which was absolutely fantastic. My girlfriend started with their beef stew, which was thick and satisfying. It was so delicious, she almost canceled her entree to have more. She went with the home cooking route and indulged in their meatloaf with green beans and mashed potatoes. Although she loved that as well, half had to come home with her, which made for an excellent lunch the next day. I went with the raw of it all and got their spectacular tuna tartare with asparagus, radish, and rice. Usually, the tuna is cut into strips but this tremendous block of gorgeous fish knocked me out. Absolutely fantastic from presentation to flavor. For dessert, we got their brownie with ice cream and this was all upper level in taste and texture. I would be shocked if their ice cream hadn't been made in-house. We loved our first experience with Apollo and we look forward to our next visit, which is hopefully sooner than later.

We ordered the Caesar salad (phenomenal) The steak tartare, just divine perfection The waitress heard me talking about the sweat breads from the chicken dish (that I wasn't ordering, I'll explain shortly) and said the chef could do them as a side dish, DELICIOUS!!! My husband got the world's largest most delicious pork chop. Now, my meal. I ordered the halibut and recognized that perhaps it wasn't for me, but I ordered it it was my choice I wasn't going to send it back. Our waitress took note that I wasn't eating and told me that simply would not do and hustled to the kitchen to come out with the chicken dish, I was so appreciative of her noticing and accommodating this, truly, amazing service and that chicken was succulent beyond words! We also got 3 of the desserts, the seasonal eggnog bread pudding, the cinnamon raisin bread pudding which was insanely delicious as I personally am not a huge bread pudding fan but if every bread pudding was this? That would be my go to! And of course the butterscotch pudding which better never leave the menu because it is lick your plate delicious!!! I also enjoyed a hot cocktail which on a cold night was heavenly. Their farm-to-table approach means a rotating menu and selection of curated ingredients that make up stunning dishes. From appetizer to dessert (which sadly we didnt have room for) the menu is thoughtful and intentional. Starting with cocktails - the famous Sleigh Bells Ring (featured on the cover of Edible Magazine) was perfection. Not too sweet, warming and tart with the mescal and boozy cranberry sauce- and incredible concoction. The Dark Love Story was equally seductive with a vodka base and aperitif blend with red wine reduction. The thought they put into their menu doesnt just stop at food! We were torn between starters but the Tartare was our pick and an excellent one. The egg was golden, the capers crisp, and the truffle aoili was never overpowering. The housemade crisp chips were a welcome change from the often offered toast bites while still being an elevated dish. The potato crsted cod was served beautifully with a lobster broth poured table-aide and was accompanied by fresh clams, shrimp, and mussels- honestly not a critique to be found. The grilled Chipotle flank steak was cooked to perfection and the hen of the woods mushroom was a showstopper. All in all I struggled to not make a reservation for every night I was in town because it is a must to go back. The decor and staff arw welcoming and as thoughtful as the meals served with mushrooms present all throughout complimenting the Bolete name. 10/10 all around.

For dinner, I ordered the fruits de mer, one of my favorite dishes, and Henry's absolutely knocked it out of the park.
