This place has a bit of a stuffy vibe - it's not uncomfortabek to say - it's just not Uber comfy. The food was excellent and the service was punctual - but there is some language barrier that makes communication a bit challenging find at times. I would repeat, as the food was above average.

Visited Rice Paper with my daughter and mother recently. Upon arrival, it was quiet and we were seated immediately. We were given menus and our drink requests were taken. My mom and I requested tea, which was perfect. As an appetizer, my daughter requested edamame, which was also perfect. For lunch, I requested crazy noodles, my daughter, pad thai, and my mom avocado curry. A short while later, our meals were delivered. My crazy noodles were superb. My mom loved her avocado curry and my daughter's pad thai was just okay. Overall, the service was fast and friendly and the food was excellent. We'll be back for more!

This is a beautiful little restaurant with a very humble and friendly owner, unfortunately I wasn't able to dine in being she's not able to retain the staff required to operate consistently, so at this time the restaurant is take-out only. I arrived in the Akron area mid afternoon on a recent Sunday and was looking for a sit down restaurant close to my hotel, after reading the reviews and looking at the photos I changed direction and decided to order takeout - the drive was less than 3 minutes from my hotel and I arrive earlier than the 20 minutes she stated when I placed my order and my food was waiting for me when I walked through the door. I can just imagine how good the dine-in experience would have been after meeting the owner and chatting with her for a few minutes - the food was absolutely amazing I ordered it Thai Hot which translates to level 5 here and it was perfect I will say I've eaten much hotter but this will light you up so don't take my statement that it wasn't hot because it was, but more importantly the flavors were incredible as were the textures. Well I hope this place survives during these troubling economic times because it will be on my short list of favorites that I will return to whenever I'm in the area. It's really one of the best example of the dish I enjoyed that maybe I've ever eaten. I can't imagine a better option for Thai food...

We had a lovely and delicious brunch at Rice Paper yesterday! Everything was beautifully presented and prepared as always. We both ordered the Lemon Grass Chicken with a side of Jasmine rice, and it was mildly flavored and perfect. We coupled our meals with some hot Jasmine Tea! Highly recommend.

So my food experience was probably more of a 1 but if you get to stop by their market, I was happy with the goodies and groceries I found. Like a couple of people said, this place was haphazardly run for sure. There was only one worker for the market and the restaurant. Even though there was only 1 other table of people plus my party (4 people), it seemed to be too much to handle for the 1 worker. Service was super slow, he couldn't really answer any questions and nothing really met expectations. The menu was the worst one I had ever seen in terms of misspellings and wrong pictures and inaccuracies and I'm comparing it to other Asian menus that tend to get some typos every once in a while. This menu never had one complete line without a couple of typos...which, you know, if the description and picture were accurate enough, it still wouldn't have mattered. There were multiple pictures of their pad thai dish that looked like a thin eggy crepe on top of stir fried noodles--extremely appetizing. Server said off the bat that nope, the dish does not look like that at all. Okay...fine but then please get a different picture. I ordered the Egg Noodles soup that clearly listed: Egg noodles with scallion, carrot, cilantro, mushroom, ground chicken, ground pork and ground beef. Literally none of those items were in my dish except for a few strips of carrot. The "egg noodles" were the cheap vermicelli clear noodles, no ground beef but really stringy, tough pieces of leftover beef and only celery pieces instead of mushrooms, cilantro, scallions. It was completely different. Server offered no explanation to the differences nor a discount or anything... Someone ordered the baso (basil) fried rice and it looked amazing. The other 2 in my party ordered chicken pad thai which looked really corn starchy and pink instead of the more natural brown sauce I'm used to at better Thai restaurants. Nope, not coming back here!

It is also open on Mondays unlike many other restaurants in the area. The restaurant has a very cute mural outside. Inside it's very colorful and has cute Thai art on the walls. It's definitely a place that looks authentic. I read the menu while inside and it had so many choices including cocktails and many food options. Many choices for any taste! I was really looking forward to trying Thai food here. Unfortunately, I ended up walking in and out due to disappointing service or the lack thereof. When I walked in (almost at 7 PM), there was a long line of diners that were not acknowledged. They were confused and asking each other where to wait and who will take their table reservation. It was very unclear where the hostess is, where to pick up orders, or wait for a table. The restaurant is very small and was overpacked on a Monday night. I had to wait an extremely long time right in front of the hostess to be acknowledged. The wait time for a table was 45 minutes to 1 hour. The wait for to go order was also 45 minutes. I would probably wait but it was scorching hot inside despite it being it being the 70's outside. I was hoping that the service would be more attentive. My suggestion to anyone visiting is to figure out a time when they're not busy. The food is probably very good, but get ready for not so good service and extended waits.

As someone who has visited Thailand and is familiar with Southeast Asian flavors, I found that the dishes here leaned much sweeter than how it's traditionally made, but they were still good. We tried the Boat Noodles and Khao Soi, both very flavorful. The portions are good but I find that both needed much more broth. It's a cute space, plus great cocktail and mocktail options

The menu is very extensive but if you have an idea of what you are looking for, it is not that intimidating. Our waiter laid out that they have five spice levels on many of their dishes. It was his idea to start with house salads those were very whole and real. The peanut sauce dressing fit perfectly! I got some green tea to drink. The teapot and cup made the experience that much more inclusive. Boxing up our leftovers, I took that opportunity to ask our waiter if I could get the curry spicier next time. He turns to me and said, "Of course we can! We can make it not as spicy as you want (while squatting down) and make it as spicy as you want (while reaching up to the ceiling)". I loved the enthusiasm!! Upon leaving my mom and I inquired about gluten free desserts.
