Our favorite dinner spot in St. Louis. Every time we eat at Rice Thai Bistro we are delighted by the ambiance and love the food!

Our daughter and son-in-law recommended Rice Thai Bistro to us a while ago and we just now stopped in for lunch. We kind of ended up there by accident. After voting, we decided we deserved lunch and went to Wan Fu, only to find it closed on Tuesdays. I kind of wanted some soup so we decided it was a good time to try Rice Thai. We were not going for a big meal, so each ordered Tom Kha Gai soups and shared an order of Spring Rolls. It was all very good and we definitely need to return for a real meal. We recently returned from a trip to Europe and oddly enough, I had Tom Kha Gai twice on that trip. They were pale imitations of the real thing. We also really enjoyed the spring rolls with homemade sweet chile sauce. This place is a surprise, given its obscure location along Manchester Road. It is clean and attractive inside. The people who operate it do a great job. I do believe the guy who waited on us and certainly did some of the preparation, when he said that they do food like it is done in Thailand. I love Thai curries and Ms T always likes Pad Thai and Pad See Ewe. I can't wait for some Panang Curry or perhaps Green Curry or perhaps Red Curry or perhaps.........I'm going five stars the first time out. I liked the experience that much and look forward to more.

Chive Cake (2 pieces cut into 4s) $8 - Crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside. The chive flavor isn't very strong and I wouldn't be able to tell if it was swapped with something else. It's quite delicious and enjoyed by all parties. Som Tum (papaya salad) $8.50 - Nice refreshing salad with a little kick. Anchovies fried rice $15 - Comes with Chinese broccoli, has good flavors. The anchovies are blended nicely into the rice. Pad See ewe with tofu $14.50 - Kinda plain, only came with one vegetable - Chinese broccoli. Tofu was okay. Will go back to pad kee mao next time. Leo Beer $6 When I visited, their restaurant front was under construction because a car ran through it. .|\---/| | @_@ | ..\_^_/..2024

It was my first time at Rice Thai Bistro. It's a small bistro but very neat. I noticed they do a lot of takeout. Food and service were fabulous!!! Appetizers: -salt&pepper squid 10/10 -- a little spicy, flavorful but kinda salty to eat by itself. So don't forget to squeeze a little bit of lime on top to balance out the flavor -moo ping 10/10-- it's a Thai style pork skewers. Meat was tender and flavorful. Served with very moist and soft sticky rice and dipping sauce. Entrée: - Panang curry (chicken) 9/10- I expected a thick and rich sauce but panang curry here is a bit soupy. Curry is flavorful with earthy lime flavor from the Kaffir lime leaf - Tom yum noodles soup 10/10 - Rice noodles with simple toppings (fish cake, fish ball, ground pork). The broth was absolutely mouth watering flavorful - Pad Thai (chicken) 9/10- noodles was perfectly cooked and tasty, but chicken was a bit dry. Next time I will get shrimp instead. Drink - Thai lime tea 10/10 Highly recommend and I"ll definitely come back!

Another fantastic Thai dinner! Easily ordered takeout from their website. Quoted 20-25 minutes and food was ready when I arrived about 25 minutes later. I ordered: - vegetable wonton (4.5/5): GET THIS. Fantastic appetizer. Very flavorful. - pad kee mao (4/5): Drunken noodle. Very fresh and tasty. Would have liked more spice, otherwise, just how I like it! Small place with a few tables. Friendly service.

My husband & I just stopped in for a really late lunch today. We felt bad that they apparently close at 2:30 & we walked in at 2:22, the owner insisted that he didn't mind and he would like us to order. We had shrimp gyoza (not pictured), chicken pad Thai and Pad Basil. Everything was delicious!! I loved the decor too! I will definitely go here again

Good atmosphere here, not a lot of tables to eat in but it works. The service here is outstanding, only one server in the whole place but he covered us and the other three tables very well. I had the curry chicken fired rice, the favor was spicy but I like it that way. I was not as impressed with the rice itself it seemed to be missing something from the texture. The other two folks in the party got pad Thai and they said it was very good. We had pot stickers for Ann appetizer and I must admit, they were some of the best I've ever had. Very tender and cooked to perfection.

My husband and I were searching for Asian food along Manchester road and stumbled upon Rice Thai Bistro. Major bonus points for being open until 9pm because there wasn't much else we could find for dinner options at 8pm! The restaurant staff was wonderful, attentive, and answered my questions about the menu. We ordered a chicken pad thai and the tom yum and both were delicious. The pad thai wasn't overly sweet or spicy which I enjoyed, and the presentation was beautiful on the platter it came out in. I also ordered the Tom Yum noodle soup: rice noodles, clear broth with fishcakes, ground pork, bean sprouts, fresh lime juice, dry chili pepper, ground peanuts, grispy garlic. The tom yum broth was extremely flavorful with a major spice/heat in it; great for warming you up on a cold winter day.

The best Thai food in the Saint Louis area! So flavorful!…read more Addie's Thai not only provides a friendly, professional full service dining experience but also puts utmost flavor and intention into their beautiful dishes. I've worked at Thai restaurants in St. Louis including Chao Baan, King and I, and the original Thai Bistro in Wildwood (before 2022 sale) so I know what authentic and flavorful Thai food should taste like. Friends and I have been searching for Thai food as good as the original Thai Bistro in Wildwood and I'm happy to say I've finally found it! We happened to try this restaurant because my sister asked if the family could meet somewhere "different" for her birthday. The restaurant staff helped us make a reservation for 10 people in their semi-private dining room. We had kids with us and they were also happy with the food! We were impressed not only by the food but also by the white tablecloths, real cloth napkins, and ornate traditional décor throughout the restaurant. We selected wine by the glass and cocktails from their full-bar list on the menu. We started with an array of appetizers from the menu including wings, dumplings, spring rolls, and fresh rolls. We agreed our favorites were the dumplings and spring rolls. We also shared entrées Phad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Red Curry, Angry Beef, Thai Fried Rice and Vegetable Stir Fry. Our favorites were Red Curry, Drunken Noodles, and Phad Thai. I tend to judge a Thai restaurant on the thickness and flavor of their curry and the color, flavor, and sauciness of their Phad Thai. Both dishes checked all of the boxes I'd qualify as 5 stars. I'm so happy the Addie's Thai curry is thick and flavorful while having the perfect spice balance. It's my pet peeve when Thai restaurants water down curry or overly sweeten it because they want to cater to the average American palette. Addie's Thai does not do that thankfully. The Phad Thai had a gorgeous golden brown color and the flavor clearly indicated they use traditional Tamarind in the sauce. So delicious! We took home so many leftovers simply because their portion sizes are so large! Come with an appetite! We are so happy to have found such a delicious Thai restaurant in West St. Louis County and the birthday girl left very satisfied with our meal.

I've been coming here on and off for over 11 years, and the consistency is a big reason I keep returning. Camille, who has been there for quite some time, took care of our table. She's always efficient, friendly, and welcoming, with a calm demeanor and a genuine smile that makes the experience even better. My usual favorites are the Angry Chicken and the Sweet Basil Chicken, and this time the Angry Chicken won out--I ordered it at a 2-star spice level. It was flavorful with just the right amount of heat. One of the nice perks of weekday lunch is that each person gets two fried spring rolls. They came out quickly and were served with a sweet and sour sauce--simple but very delicious. When our entrées arrived, a large pot of perfectly cooked rice was placed on the table, followed by our main dishes. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and satisfying. This has long been one of my go-to places for hosting out-of-town guests, and it continues to deliver solid Thai dishes and great service.

The staff were super friendly when I came to pick it up, even cracking jokes about me misspelling the pickup name. The Pad Thai was delicious. It definitely leaned on the sweeter side, which may not be for everyone, but we really enjoyed it. The chicken was especially good--it tasted super fresh and like actual, good-quality chicken rather than the bland or processed-tasting chicken you sometimes get with takeout. The hibachi steak & chicken was phenomenal. The meat was so tender and had a really nice flavor. The sauce was sweet, but thankfully not cloying or overly heavy. This was probably our favorite thing we ordered and something we'd absolutely get again. The appetizer sampler was probably the weakest part of the meal. The crab Rangoon and chicken satay were both pretty dry and could have used a little more moisture. That said, the shrimp roll was super tasty and made up for some of the disappointment with the other appetizers. Overall, Kabuki Thai & Sushi was a good experience. It wasn't perfect, but the main dishes were really enjoyable and the portions were big. There was enough that we liked that we'd likely order from here again. 7.5/10
