Noticed this restaurant a few months ago. It's close to home and I love Thai food We decided to try today for lunch and ordered carry out. Ordering online from their website site is easy with photos and descriptions of the dishes. The food was ready on time and piping hot. The restaurant is very clean and inviting. Next time we'll dine in. The woman at the counter greeted me with a smile and handed me the order. My standard order when I try a new Thai restaurant is Green Curry w/chicken and Spring Rolls. We also got an order of Pad Thai w/ Chicken. The Spring rolls were freshly made with a peanut dipping sauce with lots of peanuts. Tasty w/ fresh herbs. They offer 5 spice levels. Opted for medium (3) for the curry. I was pleasantly surprised by the nice spicy heat level . The Pad Thai at 2 was spicy enough for my wife. Lots of chicken in both dishes and portions are generous. read more

Placed an order to go at 1pm on a Saturday. Im sure there was an adult in back cooking but the teenagers up front gave me the order. Got it all the way home and found out they left the sauce off one of our entrees. Like there was a pool of oil from the stirfry but sauce was clearly not. There. Called and tried to get it fixed and it was the same kid on the phone. No apology. Instead he tried to gaslight me by saying the sauce was light. No dude. This is not the first time getting this. I ordered the food for the sauce. Was none. And normally this is not something I would try and push. It's an honest mistake. But at almost $20 for an entree, I better get the actual flavor that it's named for. Had to run down there and show them myself. Got a new one that was correct, but honestly?! These things happen. Don't try and play it off. Train your staff about how to handle order mistakes. read more

I've been meaning to try Sweetie Cup Thai Cafe for awhile now. Their dining room is only open a limited range of hours, so we ordered takeout. Mango bubble tea: the mango milk tea tasted pretty powdery and lacked flavor. The tapioca pearls were had an excellent consistency though. Pineapple fried rice: Delicious and my whole family enjoyed this! Pad see ew: It was too sweet and not savory like other pad see ews I've had in the past. They used a similar sauce as the pad thai dish that we also ordered. Pad thai with chicken: We loved the pad thai with its tangy sweet sauce, tossed with crushed peanuts. Portion size was just right! We will be back again for the pad thai and would love to try other dishes! read more

Expensive! The place reeked of fabuloso dollar store cleaner. The spring rolls are not good, too much lettuce not enough other ingredients. Pad Thai is not bad but for the price you can find a better Thai/Vietnamese meal if you travel a few minutes down the road. read more

This is my second visit but first time rating. My daughter and I shared the pad thai and the pad see ew, plus an order of potstickers. We ordered online and the ordering app was very user friendly and smooth. We ordered the pad thai at spice level 2 and the pas see ew at spice level 3 just to compare. Pad thai is not my favorite because I find it fishy. When I order it, I ask for no fish sauce. I wanted my daughter to try it with no pre-conceived bias so we ordered it as it comes. Sweetie cup's pad thai was one of the least fishy that I have ever had and it was actually really good. I probably would not order again because I prefer the curries, but I would definitely recommend it if pad thai is your thing. I always like pad see ew and this was no exception. It did seem like you got more noodles with the pad thai, but the pad see ew had more big vegetables. We both preferred the tongue-tingling heat of the level 3 pad see ew. I can't be sure but I feel like potstickers aren't really traditional thai, but the ones at Sweetie cup were good. They seemed less steamed than at other places and had kind of a dry, chewy wrapper. The filling was good and there was enough of it, and the dipping sauce was delicious! My daughter wanted a milk tea and we ordered that along with the rest of our online order. We ordered in advance for a later pickup, and I would not do that again for a tea. I think they made it a little too far in advance and the ice had all melted, so the drink a watery and warm. The boba are plain and not brown sugar, so that was a little disappointing. The interior is nice and there is plenty of room for dine-in, but I think they do most of their business with carry out. I really enjoyed this place. The food was delicious I have spicy rice, level 2 is not got at all, next time going level 4. The spicy rice was better than any I had in north county so far, all the flavors and vegetables just exploded in my mouth. I had the spicy ramen noodles, level 2. Again the level 2 here is not spicy for me, perhaps others it is but I am a pepper head sort of level 4 next time for me. This dish was great, the broth which makes the noodles for me was well, made with a great savory clear broth and the ramen enhanced it well, the mix of vegetables and protein choices were great. The spring rolls were different, a mix of rice, carrots and a delicious mint leaf that brought out the flavor of the roll in a peanut sauce.. one word awesome. You can park in a shared parking lot with plenty of room. The establishment is clean and good for talking to your partner that accompanies you. Even the whole family will be able to converse without yelling. The server was by herself and did a great job, I think she was the owner of not she was well dressed and provided excellent service to be alone. She kept the drinks full and provided whatever we needed. I will be back to try more of the dishes, good eta to be had here and the portion size with appetizer you won't be hungry. read more

Awesome food! This place is located off Big Bend and Dougherty Ferry. It is a small place, but with amazing food. We have been here a couple of times and have enjoyed each visit! This particular visit, we ordered the Chicken Satay, Red Curry, Kid's noodles, and Ginger Stir Fry. For the appetizer, the Chicken Satay was perfect. It was cooked well and seasoned with nice flavors. The little cucumber and carrot salad was such a treat too. The staff also got it out to us quickly. The red curry sauce was really really good (says my husband). It came out hot and spicy. The Ginger stir fry was also delicious. Both the veggies and chicken were cooked well, and the sauce was a highlight to this dish. I really could take the ginger too! I would also order and eat the kid's noodles myself...even though I am not a kid. We visited Sweetie Cup recently for dinner. It was our first time there. They have in restaurant dining but you will order at the counter. It's basic service but clean and simple. We had the spring rolls. They might have had some shrimp in them but they were mostly carrot strips, rice and onion. The peanut sauce was run of the mill but tasty just the same. For entrees we had an order of Pad See Ewe with chicken and the stir fried beef with broccoli. We asked for heat level 2 which was just enough spicy to not overwhelm. Each was served hot off the wok with a good distinct sauce. Overall the food was average + and enjoyable. It's not the place to go for a romantic dinner but the food will satisfy. As I picked up the food the restaurant was cute, too bad they don't offer seating for dinner, maybe soon. The food was good. We had both the Crispy roll and Spring roll. They were both good, I preferred the Spring roll. The curry was flavorful, spice level 1. For the Ginger stir fry we had spice level 3 and it was very hot, and we like hot. The final dish we had was the Pad See Ew and that was good, spice level 2. Was out in Kirkwood for an appt and decided to pick up lunch on the go. Thai always hits the spot when it's hot out so I stopped in at Sweetie Cup for a quick lunch. Very cute decor and very clean! I decided on my staples for any new Thai place: papaya salad and crispy egg rolls along with a bubble milk tea. I also got an order of Thai style wings for later on. The egg rolls were good: crisp and fresh, the papaya salad was average: needed much more lime juice and cilantro, but those wings!! Yum. They were crispy, crunchy, chewy, perfectly cooked and so flavorful. The sticky sauce that came on them was cloyingly sweet, so I was glad it was mostly at the bottom of the box and I just took them out, sprinkled them with some good black soy sauce and they were perfect. This is mostly based on tonight's experience but I'll start with my first experience which was very good. You seat yourself and someone brings you water and a menu. The first time the waitress was very prompt. The time, not so much. The first time we got fried Pot Stickers (yum) and two entries. I got the Pad Sea Eaw and my wife got Yellow Curry. We both really liked the dishes and had plenty to bring home. Large portions. We were so stuffed we planned to come back, eat light, and have a dessert. Tonight's experience was probably due to not having dedicated waitstaff. We got our water and menu. Eventually we placed and order. The Spring rolls came out quickly and were very good. We also ordered Pad Thai to share in hopes of leaving room for dessert. When we got our food that was the last time we saw the waitperson until we asked for our check. The Pad Thai was just OK. Probably would not order it again. It took nearly 15 minutes from the time we were done to have someone show up at the table to give us our bill and a to-go box. Yes, they were busy but they were also understaffed. Really took the excitement of trying a Thai dessert away. I suspect we will not be back. read more

All the curries are delicious, pad Thai and the lovely small almond cookies they throw in every order are delicious. A few times I've tried other menu items and I've never been disappointed. Their Chicken Pad Thai and Crispy Egg Rolls were fresh, hot, and delicious. Everything's made with fresh ingredients and good flavor! I personally don't like a lot of heat/spice, so I thoroughly enjoyed how the pad thai tasted. Others have commented that it's missing something or they wanted more spice. The sweet and sour dipping sauce that comes with the egg rolls had just a hint of heat and is super flavorful. It not only tastes great with the egg rolls, but also tastes good drizzled on the pad thai if you want some added flavor. The egg rolls were fairly greasy, but were super crispy and tasty! What a fantastic find Sweetie Cup Thai Cafe in St. Louis was while I was traveling through the area for work. I walked into the cafe and was immeditley greeted by a smiling face and instructed to sit anywhere. The restaurant is bright and airy, well decorated with a large chalkboard menu board behind the counter. Their foods and desserts are made from scratch, with fresh locally bought fruits and vegetables. For my lunch I ordered the payapa salad spicy (4 out of a 5 on the spicy scale). It was made with fresh shredded papaya, tomato, carrots, green bean in fish sauce and lime juice. And finished with the spicy salmon. It's a suburban white people thing, Don't believe the hype. I can only speak for the $15 pad thai but the noodles were white with no sauce. *vegetarian* I arrived at 3:32pm. I ordered Tofu pad see eaw Thai hot and the sweetie cup special. You order at the register and then seat yourself. I was told dine-in stopped at 4pm but that I could still eat there .. I thought it was a weird comment, but I get it. No one wants to stay any later than they have to. The food came out super quickly. There were no complementary appetizers. My pad see ew was missing the tofu - I told the cashier about it and it appears there was a misunderstanding with my order. Tofu is extra and I hadn't been charged - so I asked for it to be added. It cost $1.50. I ate super fast, so I could be out by 4. I believe this was a true Thai hot spice level & it was absolutely delicious!! There was one outlet available - I'm a solo traveler and needed to charge my phone. The drink was flavorful at first but really bland at the bottom. The 4 stars is due to that and the time comment... but I guess also the cashier's defensiveness about my missing tofu. read more

Okay so I will preface this review by stating that the red curry was very good. However, the menu has zero descriptions of ingredients in the dishes, and veggies in Thai food can vary so much. The fresh spring rolls were very good, but I wasn't a fan of the sauce. On a previous visit about a year ago (we did takeout to support them during Covid) I got Pad Thai and it was one of my least favorite pad thai I've had unfortunately. The service was great, I just don't think we would return even though it's less than a mile from our house. There are so many good Thai restaurants in the area, so the competition is tough. read more
