It's ok. Not the best but not the worst. It's worth eating however. Size is good but tends to forget condiments even when asked. Don't forget to tip or they will remind you. Food was excellent! Very affordable and arrived at the table almost so quick that you would have thought it was called ahead. Both the chicken pad Thai and Kung pao chicken were excellent and the portions were huge. The fried dumplings came out piping hot and were very crispy. Will definitely be back. read more

I was so disappointed in the food we received. We ordered friday night Mongolian chicken & General Tso the Mongolian had too much onionsand very little meat, they heard the meat well. DO NOT go here, ordered shrimp fried rice and it was bombarded with SALT! I placed the food under a running water so I get the salt out TWICE! Ended up throwing the food away. Well just left this disgusting "restaurant". My husband and our friend had the general chicken. Very few pieces of chicken but lots and lots of crunchy breading. It was almost inedible. Had I had it I would have complained but they are not complainers. That's not the worst. The worst is the owners wife is wearing a mask but took the mask off to sneeze while behind the counter with the food. Grabbed a napkin and blew her nose, picking it as well. Got up to throw the napkin away grabbed the soup handle filled a cup up and bagged it for a to go order and NEVER WASHED HER HANDS! Then her husband sneezed about 2 minutes later Into his hands, also stuck his finger up his nose and never washed his hands either. The only thing wrong was they listed egg rolls on the menu but they were actually spring rolls still tasted though. Service was good. People were polite and the place was clean. If you like waiting 2+ hours for your food to be delivered than this is the place for you! When you call to get an ETA from the restaurant, they will always tell you "we were slammed the driver just left," even when you called 30 mins before and they gave the same answer. We asked to talk to the driver to see if we could track him to get some type of ETA, they say the driver doesn't have one. So you just have to wait in limbo and HOPE your food gets delivered... This is not the way to run a business honestly. They offered a free appetizer for our next order, which is nice, but I will never order from them again. read more

I have started ordering 2 of the fabulous Hot & Sour Soups so I can have lunch later in the week!! I also love the Crab Rangoons for a starter. I grew up eating Green pepper Steak and this dish at Rice Xpress is the best I have ever had in 60 years! They are so modern though! You can go to the website and add mushrooms or scallops or a bunch of other things!! I like it just as they fix it but it's nice to have choices!! Prices: Expensive compared to Iron Wok in Garland, which give more food for half the price. Atmosphere: Clean and Spacious I ordered the Combination Lo Mein no pork (spicy) with an extra egg roll (shrimp) The shrimp egg roll actually had shrimp in it, instead of minced shrimp. Three medium sized shrimp with cabbage inside. My Lo Mein had a delicious flavor, the chicken was tender and juicy. The shrimp fair size, but the sliced beef was tough. A little oily due to the spicy sauce I added for a kick. But all in all it was good just like the one in Royse City. read more

Was craving Chinese/Thai, and this was one of the few options I found in Princeton. So happy I chose this one! We tried a variety of menu items, and none of them disappointed! We got: crab rangoons, pad Thai, teriyaki chicken bowl, egg roll and hot/sour soup. The Rangoon's were so delicious. Crunchy, sweet and huge! Highly recommend. The pad Thai was spicy but yummy! The peanuts added a great crunch. The hot and sour soup was to die for. I'm a huge fan and especially love the fried noodles that come with it (I actually ordered extra, because yum). The teriyaki chicken bowl was simple and delicious. The egg roll was crunchy and yummy! I will definitely be returning and recommending to my fellow Princeton residents! If you order the Garlic Sauce Chicken/Beef or any other meat.. expect little meat and mostly vegetables. The garlic sauce has a sweet flavor like sweet and sour... not a savory taste that I expected. I would appreciate the owner of this business to reach out to me. Normally I would give this business at least a 4 star review as we order food from here regularly and their food and service has always been good. But ton is another story. We placed an order for deliver, it was delivered promptly but she sweet and sour chicken had no sauce. A call was immediately placed to the restaurant to inform them of the mistake. The young lady who answered the phone put us on hold immediately after she was told of the mistake. Granted this is a small error and could have been resolved easily. When she came back on her solution was "the next time you come in we will give you a free entree or free crab Rangoons.", not I'm sorry about the mistake we will make a new entree and get it right out to you or refund the order Which was $40. I actually had to get in the car and take the order back to the restaurant to attempt to get it resolved. Her immediate response when she saw the food in my had was "oh are you here for the rangoons?". I calmly replied "no I am here for you to make the order correctly. as I was waiting for the remake of the meal I informed her that I work in customer service and her solution to this problem was 100% incorrect and her dismissive attitude made it even worse. I asked her to speak to the manager when she informed me she was the manager. I then asked her for a phone number to contact the owner and she refused. We are very disappointed that the level of customer service on her part being "the manager " was so exceptionally low. There is one decent Chinese restaurant which is way better in Farmersville called BobaWalk. Boba tea next door at Jasmine Boba was decent at least but again better at BobaWalk. Good food but very pricey! Lunch includes an egg roll but not dinner = dumb! The only issue with the food is it's not spicey! If you order General Tso's chicken you expect spicey! Very NOT spicey is what you get. Add vegetable option instead of rice or noodles! Price was about what I expected - 4 suppers, 5 egg rolls (more like the spring roll type) and 8 fried dumplings was about $50 before tip. Took it home, food was still temperature hot when we got it out. Chicken Egg Rolls had lots of chicken, fried dumplings and hot oil were outstanding. Greeted at the counter. Order placed without problem. Wasn't offered senior discount. Forgot to ask for it. Food delivered to table promptly. Large portions. Very good tasting. Frikken AWESOME!!! I'm so excited we have a decent Chinese food restaurant in Princeton. Last night we ordered the Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken Lo Mein, Generals Chicken, wonton soup and the fried pastries! All of that was UNDER $40 bucks and it was great! Only disappointing thing was that I asked if they put green onion in the chicken fried rice and they said they did but sadly it didn't.
