I was diagnosed with it back in April and because UNM being the only clinic specialist in it was so backed I had to out reach to Arizona and Colorado to find someone to get me the treatment I desperately needed. Luckily the Mayo Clinic immediately reached out to me and took me in right away. They have helped me every step of the way. The only drawback was having to travel back and forth to Phoenix and Scottsdale to get what I needed. Luckily this time around they made it easier for me to get it taken care of down here instead. This was my first visit to this infusion center. After seeing the Mayo Clinic's infusion center it wasn't quite what I was expecting. Being a new patient they had a nice thick stack of paperwork for me to do. The staff was friendly. I met with Dr. Rosandich prior to my infusion. He gave me a brief checkup and advised me of the risks of this medication. He also informed me I to wait at least 5 months after to get my booster covid shot should I decide to get it as with the medicine I'm on the vaccine may not be as effective. Other than my veins hiding like they usually do, it was a good experience overall. I do however wish they had the tool the Mayo Clinic used at their infusion center to find my veins. Those guys got it on the first try using that tool. These guys not so much. I have my next infusion 2 weeks from now, after that only need to do it once every six months. Hope this works!

He provides top notch care and really listens to any concerns one might have. With that said I usually interact with the shot room staff more than provider Romero. They seem to have a revolving door when it comes to staff other than the provides. The shot room and front desk staff continually changes. I've given up trying to get to know anyone. It's not super important but makes me wonder what goes on behind the scenes. I can say I am satisfied with my therapy and it's made a huge difference in my life. My husband can actually breathe through his nose again. If I could rate on that alone, I'd say 5 stars. But over the past six years there has been a steady downward spiral in quality of care, quality of service, and quality of the lobby environment. IF you can get the computer system to work, scheduling is...okay. Not simple, not hard, but also not always reliable. And calling to make an appt is worse. No one answers the phone anymore. Even the receptionists are apologetic when they call you back because they know how crappy it is to play phone tag. They know it's awful, but whether it's corporate or local ownership, whoever makes the decisions is deeply out of touch with what actual patients need. And don't get me started on how often they "can't find your serum" on shots day or how long you have to wait some days until you remind them you still exist. Or how loooong they drag out the build-up process if it's been awhile since you were in last (feels like a cheap cash grab more than for patient comfort). And the lobby? It's DISGUSTING. The cheap, fake leather is splitting to shreds on most chairs. The walls are gross and need fresh paint. During the pandemic, they were like cleanliness mask nazis, but since coming out of it, it's like nobody there cares about upkeep and maintaining a comfortable, clean environment for patients. When I asked why he removed those structures he said "just to make it easier for him to do the procedure. Making something easier for him caused me to have lifelong severe breathing problems. Now I cannot breathe through my nose and Gerencer has refused to repair the damaged he caused. My life is in total ruins because of Dr Gerencer. He never even mentioned that part of my sinus in consultation. Now I am totally crippled and cannot sleep because I cannot breathe through my nose. How a doctor can cripple a patient without repairing the damage he caused is outrageous. Do not use this doctor!
