He said I couldn't transfer my existing Allstate policy from RI and so I had to do a cancel/rewrite. He asked for some documents (car titles) and I completed all requested documentation in a timely manner. I had thought everything was in order but a few weeks later I got a letter saying my policy was going to be canceled in two weeks. I called Allstate again (different agent at central office) who tried to submit the documentation needed by the underwriters to keep the policy going. Multiple calls to the agency went without a real response. The agent who did the cancel/rewrite managed to incorrectly document both my email address and my cell phone number which I assume would be their excuse for not being able to reach me. If there was any doubt of this, I had emailed the agent directly with scans of the car titles and signed forms, so it's not as if he couldn't have figured that out in less than 2 minutes, not to mention my cell phone being the same number on record for my RI policy. The RI office continued my coverage since they never received notification of my cancelation, so I was paying Allstate for two policies at once. I went to an agency closer to me and they were able to sort everything out eventually, but this was hours of my time spent going in circles. I never once received any communication from this agency explaining what happened or apologizing for any part of their screw up. I filed a formal complaint with Allstate which I doubt will go anywhere, but hopefully it at least goes into the agent's file.

And the one time she finally contacts my wife. My wife gives her my lot her in laws number. We expect her to call her they same day. And nothing no call at all. So as soon as I'm telling her off on the phone. Her trash ass doesn't even deny the fact of that everything I told her.
