Every interaction with them has been completely professional. What really got our eye was they are down to earth. We got to express how we really feel and so did they. Both of us having an unfiltered mouth, we knew these are the guys we want representing me. What they charge is reasonable no hidden fees. Thank you both for your work with my cases. Although we enjoyed working with you two let's hope we don't ever have to again!!

Fast forward a few months, as I was getting ready to go to work, I get a text message from the court about an hour before the court hearing with a video conferencing link stating that I needed to be present at 10 AM. I had no prior notice or communication from the lawyer. I called the law firm, and the receptionist told me, "the person who can answer your questions about the case won't be in for another hour, so you better attend." I had to ChatGPT some response/plan as I had no idea what to say or do. About 10 minutes right before my court case, that lawyer finally called me and was asking me about the details of my case as if he had just learned about it. He told me that there was a "glitch" and that I should have been informed about the court case with more reminders 2 weeks ahead of the date. He called the prosecutor to cut a "deal" about 5 minutes before the case, which was the worst deal I've ever had with a traffic lawyer that left me paying near the original fine fee and 6 months probation. By far the worst experience with a law firm. When I hired Melton Law, they were initially able to have my court case delayed. Calling this firm criminal defense firm is a crime on its own. The staff was rude, insulting, very…read moreexpensive, and outright incompetent. They may do well with simple cases in minor courts and in state clients for nothing more complicated than a DUI/simple possession charge, but anything other than that STAY AWAY. The firm was never able to effectively communicate with me. I asked for all correspondence to go through email on multiple occasions. Instead I get texts with wrong information sent to a family member the night before I'm supposed to have court in person in a city that is 500 miles away the next morning @ 8AM. This happened on multiple occasions and was never resolved. It was clear minimum time was spent on my case. As a client I was never given a copy of my discovery or plea agreement, nor were they ever read over with me by my attorney. I have never felt more rushed or confused entering a plea in my life. Finally, I was removed from billing and the firm filed to withdraw from council without talking to me about it, which resulted in a warrant for my arrest. I find this grossly incompetent and unethical. Do not trust this firm for anything non dui related. Do not trust this firm if you are an out of state client. Do not trust this firm if you found what they did to me unethical. They're more concerned with putting pronouns in their titles than actually doing real legal work. There are much better firms that are substantially cheaper.

I can't say enough positive things about working with Josh at Schatz Anderson (and the entire team)…read morethey were timely with communication, thorough, incredibly knowledgeable and extremely professional. Worth every single penny. I would highly recommend working with Josh and suspect you'd have an equally positive experience with other attorneys in the firm, though I can't say first hand.

Based on his website and the obvious marketing he does with google I thought it would good for me to hire him. He did not do CRAP!! He missed a court date and I was caught standing there with my dk in my hands. The next hearing he didn't even know my name or know ANYTHING about my case!!! I later found out that it took him 3 times to pass the state BAR exam. He settles ALL of his cases and the offenders get the same sentence they would have gotten if they had no attorney at all. After the prosecuting attorney made me their offer based on the case that Kelly made I decided to hire another attorney. I had a legitimate case. I was pulled over in a construction zone going 2 miles over the construction speed. My new attorney actually looked into the case and proved that the construction zone sign placement on the road did not match the engineering plans submitted to UDOT. The cop had started his "investigation" (tuned on his lights to pull me over) before the actual "approved" construction zone began and got the charges dropped. ANY AVERAGE attorney that passed the bar exam the first time would have actually spent five minutes to look into the facts and defended the case. FYI attorney's take an oath to defend the innocent. This man will feed you to the court and take your money as he is laughing to the bank!!!

He was more interested in closing the case even pitching the insurance company argument instead of getting a reasonable settlement. He gives very bad legal advice which included stop going to the doctor. The firm seems to want to work cases with larger settlement amounts. He missed out on a maximum settlement payout because of bad legal advice, poor judgement and poor communication. Communication was awful spanning months including an incident where the insurance company informed me first and later that my cases had been dropped. I would not recommend working with him. There are much better attorneys out there that demonstrate more interest in helping their clients.(This program would not post my review without giving a star, so I had to input 1 star rating. They deserve no stars.)
