Was lied to about a flat rate quote. I clearly explained what needed to be done in the yelp request was told one price and when I went back to confirm got a different price. I said ok fine. 2. Guy shows up to my house a full hour early while I'm at work still. He gave me a 2-4pm window and comes at 1pm. 3. I try to find a time to reschedule (there's no emergency here thankfully) and he says it's 1000 dollars plus the repair to come on a Sunday. 4. Says photos will be taken down like in the past. Clearly this isn't the first time. There are a lot of companies to choose from please pick someone else.

On a Friday, Juan stopped by to survey our gardening needs, had some helpful suggestions, and said he could get started the following Monday. His crew got right to work weeding our silver carpet grass as well as trimmimg overgrown ivy and general clean-up work around the front & backyard. We soon learned that Juan & his crew were MUCH more than a maintenance service. Because there was some extra yard-design work we had held-off on, we realized we'd better tackle it now that we had such a capable crew. We had some design ideas and Juan said 'We can absolutely do all of that deconstructed granite work, design it with bender boards, pick-up your desired plants at a nearby nursery (as well as some gravel for design) and plant everything. In short, within 2 days, Juan, Daniel, Jesus & crew transformed an overgrown back area into a desirable drought-tolerant destination on our property. Not only that, they took down a small concrete block wall and custom-built us some really great swinging-gate redwood doors for easy access. (At a third of the cost a vinyl door company had quoted us!) They also did so much more (including scraping & painting the side of our 10' barn) and were always ready & willing to pitch-in however we needed them with really great attitudes and super-pleasant work ethics. Not only will they be our go-to garden maintenance crew, they will also be our first call for any other yardscaping we might need done in the future. We texted them the day before yesterday, got a free estimate yesterday and then they got all of the work done today. Four guys showed up promptly around 7:30 and worked very hard cutting down half a dozen trees and probably like 20-30 bushes. All the work was done the way that we requested it and they cleaned up the branches and took all the green waste with them when they left! We are so impressed with how hard they worked and how much they were able to accomplish in 4.5 hours. I don't even think they took a break the whole time they were working, but I hope they got one in. We feel very fortunate to have found them and we look forward to hiring them again in the future.

They definitely had experience and know-how about sprinklers and effectively repaired all of my broken pieces, along with providing grass-tips on how to revitalize and kick-start dead areas of grass. Two caveats: 1) Jim and Jill are typically booked because of how popular they are. So be ready to book them in advance for any projects. I wouldn't be so sure on securing them if something breaks and leaks while your sprinkler system is offline --call a 24hr service plumber instead. 2) Jim and Jill will give you verbal quote and it's an honest and trustworthy one. However you should probably treat this as an estimate, because during their repairs, they found a couple different problems with my sprinkler heads that they didn't anticipate and my price increased... just something to keep in mind; or get it in writing and have them sign that before they get to work, if you have a budget to keep. But it's not bad or anything-- they did a great job! - I'm giving an honest review, because most repair companies give a quote first in writing. I made several attempts to reach out afterward by phone, text and email, but did not receive a response. As a result, I will need to hire someone else to correct the work. I am left with a pipe that runs across a doorway and sticks up higher than the threshold. It is unsafe. It's a trip hazard, and a high likelihood of a broken pipe if it gets stepped on. Running the pipe above ground doesn't even make sense. They bypassed the existing below ground system and ran the pipes along the side of my house going across the doorway. In addition, I was quoted a price by Noe, and the next day he texted and told me Steve said it will be $400 more. I should have just said no at that point. I'm very disappointed because I used them a few years ago without issue. But leaving me with such substandard work and then completely ghosting me when I tried to reach out is totally unprofessional.

He and his team did a wonderful job with the installation and I have been using his company for my irrigation and landscaping needs ever since. When I added an ADU to our backyard, the contractors really tore up our planters. He helped to relocate as many plants as possible to another area and install a temporary barrel system until a new drip system could be installed. We are now moving forward with reinstalling the new system and adding pathway and landscape lighting. For peace of mind, he warranty's his work. In addition to the big projects, he has helped with smaller repairs as well. He is thoughtful in how he approaches the projects so they are completed efficiently while being cost effective. This is a repost and an update to a previous post…read more JP started a job for me in February, and I terminated the relationship in March. His communication was terrible, his team did not show up when he said he would, he had me spend money on materials that were not correct, and he hid demo from other projects into mine, so I would pay for the disposal. When I confronted him, and after a lot of excuses, he did remove the demo materials from the other job (at least some of it). What little work he did for me was incredibly poor quality and I need to have it all redone. I took him to small claims court in August, we settled in mediation, but he did not pay me back any of the money we agreed upon, and then disappeared. We go back to court in the beginning of December.
