In the middle of winter with two feet of snow and temps in the single digits, we had no water... I called Richardson, and they sent a tech out in less than an hour to check out the system, and we needed a new pump. The next day, two techs came and made it happen in spite of the weather and snow. In over 50 years I have not lived in a house with a well. I moved in about 3 years ago and have used Richardson Wells & Pumps for various well problems all with fantastic service and solutions. BUYER BEWARE!! Please do not waste your time or money using Richardson Wells & Pumps. The experience was terrible and extremely unprofessional. They use the oldest equipment in the industry, and their trucks actually broke down and were left on my lawn (and on the street) for weeks. They will charge you extra for drilling and without checking with you beforehand. The pump that they installed doesn't work, they ruined everything they touched (trees, bushes, lawn, sidewalks, etc.), and now I'm out thousands of dollars. To top it off, I still haven't been able to use for my well/pump for irrigation - it simply doesn't work and they have no answers except their typical response, "look at your contract". That seems to be the only training they have. Please, as one professional to another, and, as a caring person in the community, I highly suggest that you take your business elsewhere. read more

I called with a pump replacement, they drilled the well !20 years ago and did 2 pump replacements. I asked the size of the pump last used 1/2HP. Then I indicted that a higher HP pump may be needed due to filtration issues. The rust is so heavy you cant use it without filtration. Richardson refused to help me FLAT OUT. Said I can't be satisfied if I was to question them at All? What kind of business leaves a 20 year customer without water!!!!! And can not be questioned??? Found another better Darling wells much better to deal with and customer concentric. read more

Well went dry, service call Friday $100, still no water... service call Monday still no water $100 again same time tech says oh i should have changed filter monday but he doesnt have the right one with him now. Puts wrong one in that was here at house and leaves. Google problem replace witb proper filter from ACE for $8 havent had a problem since.... $200 for NOTHING read more
