Best Philly steak I've had outside Philly - authentic and Ritchie personally is the real deal. The place is no frills and the service is strained because the demand on the phone and walk-ins is solo brisk, but even those things remind me of the best Philly steak joints I've visited before. Sandwiches are large - one of our party got a Reuben and she raved about it with lean corned beef and kraut "just the right amount of sour" on rye. Ok.... I'm a believer! Living in this small town, the food choices are just so blah. Same crap all of the time. On a Friday night, after a long work week, I'm not cooking. I've heard through the grapevine that this is the best cheese steaks in town. Everything is cooked to order which is great and the price is great but you get what you pay for. I got the large cheese steak and two of the five dollar cheese steaks. I had to take them to go because there is no place to sit and eat. After my short five minute drive home I opened the sandwiches and all three were mush. There was so much grease it just soaked through the bread. Amazing food! It was a little bit of a wait for the food, but I think it's because it's all fresh. I didn't have a problem at all with waiting after I stuffed that delicious cheesesteak in my mouth! I am appalled with one of Richie Cheesesteak's employee that is so disrespectful to Grubhub food delivery drivers. I had a very bad experience the other night that I had to wait 15 minutes for 2 orders that I had to pickup one of the orders was sitting on the counter all along, People were coming in and ordering food and they had gotten their orders way before me. The older woman employee approached me and asked who I was picking up for and when I told her the names she had given me one of the orders that had been sitting on the counter all that time and when she had given it to me and I questioned "Oh it has been sitting there all along", She yelled in my face stating "Hey listen, We are short handed tonight, We are doing the best we can." and then I said to her "I've been waiting here for over 15 minutes for 2 orders, I have a delivery time I have to meet and don't give me an attitude." She then yanked the customers order from my insulated bag took the order away from me and said "You can go I'll let them know." I then said I needed to make that delivery she totally ignored me walked away as if she didn't hear me I immediately called Grubhub to let them know about the situation and she has no right to do that, that I needed to get that order to deliver so with that being said, She should have her ass fired, and Richie the owner of Richie Cheesesteak, Should not have an employee like that working at his place of business. My husband is a Grubhub delivery driver as well and the couple of times he has gone into Richie Cheesesteak the same woman always stared at him and looked down on him as if he was a piece of shit. Delicious!!! I have had the cheeseburgers, the phillies, the boars head subs and the BLT (my fave) all are super yummy! This little place right off of Deltona is amazing. Small place to sit so it's best if you are good to go... Call ahead for your order as this place is so good everyone's always ordering from them... So there is a wait but everything is made fresh to order. This place is delish. I can't comment on the authenticity of how they measure up to Philadelphia cheesesteaks because I'm a Florida Cracker. However, they deliver a pretty good distance. I was working in Hernando Beach at a salon and they totally trekked out there with our food. It was also really yummy. They are accommodating and will put whatever you want on your sandwich. I usually have pretty strange requests and put pickles on everything and they didn't mind one bit. The food was still hot even after the trek out to Hernando Beach and the girl that brought the food was really nice. I definitely recommend giving them a try because the pricing is the bomb too. The 3 stars instead of two is because the cheesesteak and fries were good. The meat had a little black soot in it from the grill though. Overall though the sandwich was great except the price at 9.00 is a little steep. The hot peppers were good..whole peppers I had to slice to put on the sandwich, but nice and hot. The fries were great with skins, but the proton for an order was very small. I haven't seen such a small order before. The one poor thing is that I you order at the register, pay, and sit down waiting for someone to bring your the food. Well no one there has enough sense to actually wait on tables and say sorry for the wait or can I get you something while waiting, yet they expect a tip. The other thing is it took at least 35 mins to get my sandwich and fries while sitting there waiting. The people who ordered in front of me took out a huge takeout order and it took them 15 mins just to order because they were so clueless. They were discussing what the "original" steaks have in Philly and trying to decide between swiss and provolone. Then they had about 10 sandwiches to order..one with swiss.. one with lettuce and provo, one with american, they even asked the girl at the register what a traditional Philly is and she shrugged her shoulders as if she was even dumber than the people ordering. I mean come on..you work in a Philly steak shop. Get a little info so you can wait on customers and tell them a Philly usually comes with or without onions and American or Cheese Wiz. Between the help and the people ordering it was like dumb and dumber. Therefore I gave 3 stars. It was a tossup whether to give 2. The service is really bad. read more

Amazing! If I could give 50 stars I would! My husband said he wanted something before work so I searched for delivery sandwich places. I called another place but nobody picked up. Richie's was the next on the list. The girl I talked to was sweet and very polite, made sure she got my order right. Price wasn't to bad at $9 a sandwich. Since I'm from PA i had to try the cheesesteak and my husband got a turkey and cheese, I also got chicken tenders for my daughter. They said about an hour wait til it was delivered. So I assumed it wouldn't be here in time before he went to work. Wrong it came in time for him to take to work with him. My daughter ate every bit of the chicken, it smelled delicious. The cheesesteak was perfection. The roll was super fresh, the steak was perfect and the cheese was amazing. I will definitely be ordering from here probably once a day lol. I am a born and breed Jerry girl so cheese steaks are something we eat a lot. I now live in spring hill and love getting there sandwiches. They are made with great ingredients and are always great tasting. I have food allergies so being able to eat at a place where food is cooked on an open grill is scary but they always take great care of me and never been sick once. Today was yet another day in search of a delicious cheesesteak and I found one right here!! There are SOOOOO many good things to say about this place! THEY DELIVER!!!!! They gave us a time and it showed up EXACTLY! That was nice!! The staff was super friendly and helpful since it was our first time ordering!!!! The beef to bread ratio was on point!!!! (I HATE when you get small inner portions so basically all you taste is meat flavored bread!! That is not the case at this place! It was LOADED!!!) It was an all around yummy experience!!! The reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that they use Styrofoam cups for the fries, unfortunately this makes the fries soggy and bleh before they get to their destination because the Styrofoam holds moisture in. Also...Styrofoam is SOOOOO bad for the environment and I like to see local joints be as conscious as possible about their carbon footprint and harmful waste in their community.... They should look into recycled paper to wrap the fries in, like the British do with their fish & chips!!! Other than that! This was FABULOUS and we will DEFINITELY be back and be recommending to others!!! read more
