I found this coffee shop while searching for a comfortable place to sit down and catch up with a friend. She is allergic to pretty much everything that tastes good so I was pleasantly surprised to find they were able to accommodate her drink order for a reasonable price. I tried a ginger tea drink but ordered it iced rather than hot and it came out really well. The person making the drink hadn't made it iced before and we were all impressed. I have ordered delivery from here a couple times. Their coffee, i get the iced zanzibar spiced coffee, so delicious! This time i got a African Chapati. This is a scrumptious sausage in a wrap with egg and cheese. You can choose how crispy you want the wrap and i asked for mine without egg. This is an excellent sausage, not greasy, good flavor, crispy wrap. If you haven't tried them, please do, they're worth it!! I think it would be great to have the African Chapati wrap, instead of sausage, with fried chicken, shredded romaine, cheese and a med spiced sauce... yum, great option. I stumbled upon this new coffee shop by chance via an article on Facebook (isn't that how we learn about most things these days?) and was able to attend their soft opening (full opening is May 1st)... And folks... Folks. This coffee shop is wonderful! I decided to visit even though it's across town from me because it's both a small locally owned ship and has a mission of support and caring globally (check out their website - https://richlandhub.com - for more info), but holy moly they really win me over by the experience. You can see the beautiful decor in the photos - traditional art pieces, natural wood throughout, comfy seating - but you'll have to visit to experience the rest. I ordered the (single origin) Zanzibar Masala Chai and a slice of quiche (I don't recall the exact description, but there was plentiful bacon involved!), and both were phenomenal! Hands down both the best quiche and the best chai I've ever had the pleasure of consuming. Karibu -prominently displayed behind the baristas - means "welcome" in Swahili, and reflects the feeling of this space. The employees were friendly and efficient, and the owner made a point of saying hello and thanking me for coming in. Well, thank you, sir - this was my first visit, but it certainly will not be my last! (Note: today was Richland Hub's soft opening. I came here this last week because I needed to do some work on the computer with wifi. I ordered a cold brew with oat milk, no ice. And oh my!!!! It was legit one of the best cold brews I've ever had! And LESS than $6. I think it came straight from the tap, with foam on top the guy who took my order was very friendly!! I paid $1 extra for oat milk and it was awesome because he let me poor however much I wanted in my cup. They also had cocoa/cinnamon/honey etc that you could add into your coffee for free. I don't usually leave reviews but for this one I had to. I am a big coffee person so seeing the 5 star rating drew me to this place. Unfortunately the quality was subpar at best. Maybe the barista was just new and doesn't quite know how to pull shots or the correct measurements for things, but the drink I ordered was terribly made. Not-drinkable. For the price of beverages here, just to turn around and throw it away, is disappointing to say the least.
