Nothing fancy, just basic, hearty diner food. It's Denny's, Black Bear Diner, iHop, or Bob Evans without logos and franchise baggage. I had the country breakfast of scrambled eggs, hash browns, ham steak, and wheat toast. It was all exactly what I expected and wanted. The wait staff are friendly and attentive, and the owner is a sweet lady running the register and folding napkins around silverware. Outside, Sukie's is hardly noticeable, tucked away at the edge of a strip mall parking lot. Inside, it's like every diner I've ever been in. If I had children, this would be my weekend family brunch spot.

The sweet cream batter already gives it sweetness on its own, but once you add butter and syrup it really takes it over the top. For the price of their food is worth dinning inside. When I went on a Saturday Morning not much of a crowd but it looks like locals do come to a landmark place.
