Cafe inside as you walk in and a front desk to the right. Drinks, coffee and some desserts. Three lounge benches to wait, rest while enjoying your order. Concrete tables in back with view of middle school's basketball courts and track. Limited parking out front. Will try their cafe next time. Come support this local facility.

He is versatile, sings, plays the triangle, the harmonica and the washboard. and in my little experience of watching him play with various groups, he lets everyone shine. His band's music was made for dancing and I have two left or right feet. The regular fans know what they are coming for - to dance. One of these days I'll earn without upsetting a partner. But then someone has to pay the price for teaching a newbie. A great place to visit for affordable beer and some wine. If Andre performs there, I'll be prepped to dance :)

We did a site inspection and the contact person bent over backwards to assist us. He answered our questions and let us poke around behind the stage. We went into the full kitchen and inspected for cleanliness. It looked good. The restrooms were clean but a little dated. There are plenty of tables and chairs to accommodate weddings, or conferences. On event day, we were able to enter a bit earlier and leave a little later. As we left we observed the staff mopping and washing the tabletops. The space if very clean, spacious and has friendly, low key staff.

Rodent infestation alert!…read more Man I really wanted to like this place but read on. We stored our belongings here while we were between houses and traveling. All the usual stuff - furniture, clothes, workout equipment, etc. When we got back after 8 months to start moving out, there was a severe rat problem. Piles of poop and pee everywhere. A bunch of our stuff was damaged or destroyed. Furniture chewed up, wedding memorabilia destroyed, our baby bassinet full of poop and pee. They got in boxes of clean coffee mugs, ate the packing paper, and peed all over them. Not what I expected for $500 a month! Before you ask - no, there was no food or otherwise that would have attracted animals. They chewed through fabric and paper so apparently they eat anything. I went to the office and talked to the manager. He said there's nothing they could other than spraying some repellant. Mind you we weren't going to fully empty the unit for months. What am I going to do? Hire a moving company and find another spot? I told the manager that I've used other storage companies and never had a problem like this. He actually said: "all storage facilities have rodent issues". WTF! I emailed the company and the owner 3 times to give them an opportunity to make it right. They never responded. Don't take the chance. Find another place! (For clarity we stored feb 2024 to mar 2025)

I find it interesting that all of that was there because until I came to another restaurant in the area, I didn't know that this area existed. Now driving there is a beast because the roads are littered with potholes and there are areas where there is essentially one lane to drive, so you have to be very, very careful. But this spot, once you get to it, is it worth it? Maybe, it depends on what's going on. I'd love for them to have a bit more going on, but I respect the fact that it is so far out of the way that it may be a bit difficult. The marina down there is quite small and there's no way to tell how much business would come by that. So, this wouldn't be a destination like Berkeley or Richmond Marina's where they have options if you want to eat, but it's cute and funky and with the restaurant they have in the area, it's not a waste of time.

Planning: From the start, we were impressed by Diana's organization and pragmatism. She has a great sense of what is "worth it" in terms of budget, and how to maximize impact for things like décor and flowers. This was extremely helpful, as we felt as though we were making good use of our budget, and were not pressured to overspend in any way. Choosing individual vendors was something that really overwhelmed me (there are so many great options!). Diana made this process seamless! At the start of our planning journey, we had a long discussion about what we were looking for in each vendor (e.g., photography style, entertainment type, floral colors, etc.) and our budget. She would send us 3-5 recommendations for each vendor and we would review and discuss. Obviously, if we wanted to see more options she would send them, but this really cut down on our stress and made this part of planning very straightforward. She also went through the entire design process with us, and put together a very detailed and helpful "mood board" that she shared with our florist, making that process super easy as well. Additionally, she was also extremely helpful in managing our vendors without letting us feel any stress. Our venue created some difficulties and could be frustrating to work with at times, and Diana did a TON of work in the background / back channeled with them to resolve any issues and keep things running smoothly. As we got closer to the day of, we had additional calls with her and all of our vendors to discuss the timeline. Diana created a VERY detailed, easy-to-follow timeline for the day before and day of. She also made a version for our families and bridal party that we could circulate. It was extremely helpful to have all of the timeline information in one place, and have the assurance that all of our vendors were on board with the timeline and could execute it easily. Day Of: Our day of could not have been better thanks to Diana and her team! They arrived early to the venue and ensured that everything was moving along with set up at the ceremony site and in the ballroom. My husband and I truly felt no stress the day of because we knew that all of the vendors were prepared and Diana was on it. We had a few timeline-related hiccups later in the day when our ceremony ran long (not Diana's fault!!) and she was quick to step in and make on-the-fly changes for the rest of the evening to make sure that things kept running smoothly. And the whole day was totally seamless as a result! All in all, I would wholeheartedly recommend Diana for any wedding or event planning.
