Rental service was very efficient even though staff were probably overworked the day we visited since it was a free event. 3 hour free parking available from 7am to 7pm. There is also a concession area selling hot dog, popcorn, pretzels, etc opened during the weekend but not sure of its weekday hours as it's not posted. Didn't check out their shower or other rinks in arena and it seems popular for hockey practice. Tho I don't live in Richmond, I would definitely return again to friends' invite after this pleasant first time experience. Good job to the team at Minoru Arena!

Free parking is available nearby. I came here for the Bubble Tea festival on July 23, 2022. They basically fenced off the entire stadium for the event. This stadium is used for events such as outdoor concerts, games and festivals. The track and field has lots of seating under cover. It is located in a convenient location that is for sure.

I got their chicken buffalo poutine and donuts, both of which were sooo good! The poutine was so flavourful and the chicken was crispy and saucy. The donuts were soft and they gave a caramel dipping sauce on the side which made it even better. Both the items were freshly made which definitely added to the taste. Giving one star less because the bathrooms in the cinema weren't clean despite there being so many stalls. It was the last show of the night but I've been to other cineplex and none have been this bad. The only time I come to this location is if I want to watch a bollywood movie!

When I went to get our popcorn the person working at the counter asked me if I'd like to add butter or not. It costs extra for them to add butter so I took the popcorn as it was. Funny thing is...this theatre has dispensers where you can pump your own butter on to the popcorn. Why would anyone pay extra to add butter when they can pump the butter themselves for free?! From previous experience at a different SilverCity, they did ask last time whether we'd like to have the butter layered. So...I guess having different layers of butter throughout the bag as opposed to just one layer of it on top might be just cause for charging slightly more but...is it really worth an extra few dollars more?! The popcorn seems to already be kinda buttered already even without asking them to add butter or dispensing the butter yourself. And I would recommend coming in gym clothes because at the end of this you will be sweaty. They give you a brief debriefing and there are 3 or 4 different games you get to play. You have to watch out for people camping and there are actual clans that play together so they are really good. But it is fun and as realistic as it will get besides paint ball. This is very fun! But every time, different people had issues with the equipment or the staff, who couldn't explain the games properly. So, we kept giving them feedback. After some time, when nothing improved and the staff didn't take any responsibility, one of our friends spoke to the manager directly and left a negative review, hoping things would get better. But today, when we tried to book another session, we were shocked to find out they banned him and a few other players who weren't happy with the service :|

This was my first time going to the Richmond sunflower festival. I was surprised with how large the…read morefields were! They have a maze, lookout decks and props throughout the fields. They have a train that takes you to the fields too. They have all different heights of sunflowers and we went during golden hour and it was not very crowded and it was easy to get some great photos. They have a U-Pick area where you can choose the best sunflower to take home. They also have very well kept gardens with other flowers! This far exceeded my expectations and I would definitely recommend to other!

Indeed there were so many different types of flowers and sunflowers. I loved the train and wagon ride on weekends! When the summer in Vancouver is very nice and warm, the sunflower fields look amazing! The venue has built some decks for visitors to take photos of the sunflower fields. I also enjoyed the train driver who spoke to all the visitors when driving and someone would sing some country songs when giving us a ride. The sunflowers and other flowers were just very beautiful! We got sensors on our left and right wrists, and ankles. For those that had glasses, we had to were the googles over our glasses which we were advised could interfere with some of the sensors in the eyes but overall, they were fine. Although we put them in place at the outset, all those with glasses all agreed that the googles still moved regardless of how tight we had them. Overall though, the googles didn't interfere too much with the game. For those familiar with Squid Game, it followed a similar pattern where we played group games to win individual points. It was a really fun theme, especially for those of us that don't like zombie pop ups. Lots of feet and hand movements. We really appreciated that right after the game is over, they led us to the back to show us three clips about our experience. The clip was also emailed directly to us right away. A really fun activity with a group. Would definitely do this again, and... perhaps won't be so nice with sharing info about certain aspects. Every man for themselves right?

Came on a sunday night around opening time around 7pm in late july with a friend. My friend kindly gave me his express line pass (it was a gift) and paid for my entrance fee. We both saved at least 15-30 minutes of waiting time at the normal non-express entranceway and the $7 per person entrance fee. If you've been to the night market the last couple of years, it's basically the same as previous years. The main attraction by far is the food stalls. There were lots and lots of food stalls (mostly Asian food). If you are interested in my thoughts on the food stalls and my recommendations, read through all my previous years yelp reviews because i go into great detail about them there. I only bought one thing this visit (i went to a buffet earlier that day). I bought the butter beer which didn't have any real beer in it. It was mostly butterscotch flavored cream soda and creamy foam topping. It was $7 and it tasted alright. But I dont think i would get it again. I tasted cream soda and a hint of butterscotch. The night market does have "happy hour" food item specials but only some booths do this. Some food items are under $10 and drinks are $7. I didn't see many interesting happy hour food items during my visit though. They had benches and tables scattered around the food stalls and a bunch near the middle. But there were so many people that there was no space left. i just opted to walk and drink. Other than food, from what i remember, people sold Items like handmade stuff, anime merch like figures and keychains and lights, and some just sold trading cards like pokemon cards. They had ziplining which looks like fun. They had carnival games like popping the balloon, hammer drop, ring toss into the bottle, something that looked like pachinko, the pull up bar challenge, that stacked bottle game, and the birthday month dice game. There were some attractions like the human hamster ball where you climb inside a bouncy plastic ball and walk around. They also had a talent show. No offense but the talent show at the night market wasn't that great. The band at the time was singing a jazzy version of old school music from the 80's and did not have any stage presence at all. There were long breaks between each song. People were leaving the seating area mid performance. We came around 7pm and it wasn't that busy, but when my friend and I left a little after 8pm, the line to get inside was really long and the food stall area was crowded as ever. 3 out of 5 stars based on this visit. I would go to the night market if you want to hang out with friends and try new foods for the fun of it. Throw the budget out the window because a lot of food items are overpriced still. Last tip. Bring lots of cash because the ATM machine fees are expensive. As far as i know, most stalls don't accept card.
