Long enough to remember when it was 5.00 for a basic wash. Now it's 12.00. I feel like it was only like 10 years ago when it was 5.00 so that is 240 percent increase in 10 years! Insane. Yeah yeah yeah, I know I sound like an old man yelling at clouds with my "back in my day" review. However, I also feel like they sped the wash up and it's not really getting the car all the way clean. When I pulled out of the wash, I noticed soap all over my side mirror. See picture. I believe that's because the wash is moving faster and not letting the car rinse off. Would you get out of a shower before you got all of the soap out of your hair? No, you stay in until it was washed off. Anyway, I will probably still come in for my bimonthly car wash, but I will keep skipping the "free vacuums" since they are worthless. The workers are friendly and the place is convenient for me.

There is a spacious area for the vacuums, but pro tip: use the vacuums on the side of the car wash for stronger suction. I like this place - I plan to return here regularly. It is a drive through where you sit in your vehicle. It di a great job of removing them and mostly drying the truck off. It need a little touch up with a microfiber towel and you also get a free vacuum with your wash. There were several options up to @$15 for the best wash. I got the $12 one and it worked fine for me . They accept cash or credit/debit cards and even have a ATM on site. I recommend them if you are int he area of Lapalco and Barataria Blvd.

This car wash actually uses the "snakes" and gentle brushes to wash your car properly. You can go and pay good money and get more than just high pressured water and soap cleaning your car. Don't get me wrong, the wash is extremely gentle and won't scratch your paint job, but if you need to get bugs and gunk off of your car, this is the wash you have to go with. There are three washes you can choose, depending on how "detailed" you want it to be. The cheapest is $4, I get the $8 one and there's one for $12 that gives you the tire shine stuff and I think a wax of some sort. Also, they have FREE vacuums, so once you get the outside of your car all clean and shiny, you can take care of the inside.

The guy spraying down my car right b4 entering the car wash had a 3 INCH Swastika on the back of his hoody. I called him over & told him he I would not be back because of his swastika. He told me he didn't know what it was. There is no way guy in his early 20s doesn't know what a swastika is. As I was entering the car wash, I could see, another older employee came over & after a quick convo he turned him around & looked at it. After I got out of the car wash I came around to vacuum & neither employee was out there. Because of this I will give the owners the benifit of the doubt & will return. The whole interior was sparkling. The pics attached are to show the carpet and cup holders since most places don't do those well. Spotless at Soft Touch Carwash. I am now - after this first time - going to be a returning customer. Economical price too at $50. Convenient location too. I've used their softwash Carwash before too for drive through exterior many times. And it too is very good. Comes with access to free self-vacuuming. I found On The Spot through a Google search, and decided to give it a try because it's close to my work. I called and spoke to Tyrone. I think he's the owner, and he was very accommodating about getting my car scheduled quickly for a simple exterior wash. That particular service isn't listed on their standard menu, but Tyrone quoted me a reasonable $50 to hand wash and vacuum. When I arrived at my appointment time, I was promptly greeted and invited to wait inside in the AC (thank God) while my car was washed. I left my car where it was and went in. The waiting area is simple but comfortable with a TV playing some recent NBA game. It wasn't long before I was being called back out because my car was done! It was surprisingly fast, and my car looked great! I had even asked if they would apply a tire dressing I had brought myself, and they did it with no problem and no extra charge. Overall, I'm very happy with the service and value of On The Spot, and I'll be using them for my regular car washes. I think I'll explore the detailing at some point too.
