I went to JM Lexus originally, I left my car there for a day and they "stated" that nothing was wrong with the brakes. First and last time for me here. I felt like just a number. I called NSJCC the day before and spoke with Dominic. We both agreed that it may be my front brake rotors and he gave me pricing with and without brakes if needed. He told me to bring it by the next morning and he will have it back to me within a couple of hours. I dropped my car off at 810am and it was ready before 11am! This is unheard of!! Where has this place been all of my life?!?! Brake issues have disappeared in thin air. The pricing was affordable and the communication was on point. And Most of all, Dominic seems trustworthy to me. They pretty much do everything except body and transmission work. A one stop shop ! They gained themselves a lifelong customer .. The first time, I made a 9 AM appointment online and showed up on time... only to wait TWO HOURS before anyone even got to my car. Then I was told my car had "no oil" and they refused to service it. I was given almost no explanation, and I literally had to drive my car off the rack myself, worried it was unsafe to even be on the road. If my car truly had no oil, why was it sitting there for two hours untouched? Out of convenience (and honestly desperation), I gave them another chance a few months later. Same situation. I waited about 40 minutes before they even looked at my car, only to be told again that it had "no oil" and they wouldn't service it. At that point, I left and took it to my longtime mechanic (about an hour away) who quickly diagnosed the real issue: a cracked gasket causing a leak. They fixed it without any confusion or runaround. So now I'm left wondering... why make appointments at all if they don't start on time? And why was the issue never properly identified or explained? Between the long waits, lack of clear communication, and repeated misdiagnosis, I can't recommend this location. It was a complete waste of time and added unnecessary stress. I'll be sticking with Armstrong Auto Care moving forward, they've consistently been reliable, thorough, anddddddd they just opened a sister shop 3 minutes from this pep boys!!
