I tried calling them the next day but no answer after many, many tries. I drove down there and was told my car would be next in line the next day and they would call me mid day. No call. I called them at least 10 times during the day with no answer. I went there again and was made promises again and I took my vehicle and left. What a waste of my time. No respect for others. 2 days without my vehicle and my car was parked on the street the whole time and very vulnerable. Judging by the number of cars parked all over the place my story seems to be the norm. The place is dirty and unorganized. I have an old car that my brother gifted me with - and I'm so very appreciative of him and Queenie,…read morethat's her name in honor of Queens, NY since I just moved to Boynton Beach a year ago. Queenie has been shaking a lot and stalling and overall I could feel something was wrong. Since I'm new to the area, I didn't know where to take her and not be taken advantage of. Two weeks ago I run into my neighbor/friend and tell her my concern over using my car for fear that I would be stranded somewhere I'm not familiar with. She told me about Don and his wife Cherida at Ace Auto Repair. She had nothing but praise for them and the service they provide at their repair shop. She further said they will not take advantage of you (being a lone woman taking in a car for repair). I contacted Don and he told me to bring in the car the very next day. I was greeted by his wife Cherida who was all too pleasant and knowledgeable. They took my car round to their shop in the back and in minutes were able to tell me what looked to be wrong, they even fix/changed the brake light that I didn't know was out - at no cost!!! She said she didn't want me to get a ticket before I brought the car in for further repair. Since they were super busy, she asked me to bring back the car the next day first thing so they could work on fixing the other problems. I took the car in at 8am and left it for them to do what needed to be done. Throughout the day I received a couple of calls from Cherida informing me of other issues Queenie had and she told me the course of action and price quote! I love the detailed attention and communication from Cherida. They promised they would have the car all fixed by the end of the day since I needed the car early the next day, and true to her word - Cherida called to tell me the car was ready and I could pick up Queenie before 5pm. The mechanic who worked on my car reminded me that there were other (electrical issues) problems with the car but nothing urgent where I couldn't drive it. First time I've driven Queenie and felt confident that I was safe and I wouldn't be stranded, that's worth everything! And their charge - wow!!!! So reasonable, they surely do not take you for a ride! I have my very own mechanic in Boynton Beach, WooHoo!!! I am taking her back and fixing the other problems still pending!!! I know this was a long post but I needed to express my experience and relief and happiness with Don, Cherida - their mechanics and Ace Auto Repair!!! Highly recommend this place!!!

The first time, I made a 9 AM appointment online and showed up on time... only to wait TWO HOURS before anyone even got to my car. Then I was told my car had "no oil" and they refused to service it. I was given almost no explanation, and I literally had to drive my car off the rack myself, worried it was unsafe to even be on the road. If my car truly had no oil, why was it sitting there for two hours untouched? Out of convenience (and honestly desperation), I gave them another chance a few months later. Same situation. I waited about 40 minutes before they even looked at my car, only to be told again that it had "no oil" and they wouldn't service it. At that point, I left and took it to my longtime mechanic (about an hour away) who quickly diagnosed the real issue: a cracked gasket causing a leak. They fixed it without any confusion or runaround. So now I'm left wondering... why make appointments at all if they don't start on time? And why was the issue never properly identified or explained? Between the long waits, lack of clear communication, and repeated misdiagnosis, I can't recommend this location. It was a complete waste of time and added unnecessary stress. I'll be sticking with Armstrong Auto Care moving forward, they've consistently been reliable, thorough, anddddddd they just opened a sister shop 3 minutes from this pep boys!!
