Stopped in here today to talk about buying my lease since I just made my last payment. I forgot the salesman's name, he never gave me his card. Anyway, I asked for the payoff amount and the salesman kept trying to get me to lease another car. I kept telling him I want a payoff so I can just buy the car outright. I had to ask three times for a payoff. This salesman was going for the kill ( the sale) and not at all trying to create a rapport with me. I went to Coral Springs Honda & Hendrick Honda in Pompano Beach. All three dealerships charge a bogus $799 or $699 dealer fee. This dealership wouldn't remove the BS fee. Hendrick was the only one that removed the fee completely, so I'm going there tomorrow to do the deal with them. Rick Case has a nice dealership, it's huge. They even have a gas station and self serve car wash. I guess today we just had bad luck at this location. read more

I purchased a car here May of 2020. In December, I referred my boyfriend's mom to buy a car here. She bought the car & I was told I would receive a $100 referral check. It's been over 6 months and I have yet to receive my check. I've gotten many different stories as to why it was taking so long. 3 weeks ago, my salesperson Luiz told me it was mailed out. Which was clearly a lie. I will change this review once I get my check. It's ridiculous that it takes 6 months to mail a check that was promised to me. I never leave reviews but I am so mad that I am leaving my first yelp review. I left my car at the collision center and I have received terrible customer service. I am not going to name the person I was working with but he NEVER ANSWERED THE PHONE!!!! I called over 14 times and never got my call answered in the course of a month. The person who was supposed to send my estimate to the insurance company sent it two days later than when he initially told me he'd send it. Then the estimate got approved and he told me my car would be ready in 6 business days. It's been 7 business days and now he's telling me he needs 3 more days. This is absolutely ridiculous!!! It would be one thing if I was kept informed on what was going on with my car but instead I never received any updates and had to call constantly to get any questions answered. I will NEVER take my car to this collision center ever again. The only person who I can say anything good about is Alexis. She always answered the phone, called back when she said she would, and answered my questions. Everyone else that I dealt with there was incompetent. If it wasn't for Alexis I probably would have shown up at the shop and caused a scene a long time ago. Long story short...if you want to never hear from the people fixing your car, get no phone calls answered or returned, and want to wait much longer for your car than you'd initially been told, come here to fix your car. read more

I took my car in for a tire to be replaced. Sat in front of my car 5-10 minutes no one greeted me. Went inside a female advisor(no eye contact) she said "someone will be with you". You can wait outside of you want. No offer to help. Came back to dealer 3 days later cause my dash lit up like a Christmas tree. Walked in no help, no one greets you, no one offers to help. I see another customer walk in and the female service advisor say to him " you can drop it off, we are booked, maybe I can look at it tomorrow" (Not friendly towards this man) I waited 15-20 minutes no one showed up to help. Called beforehand to confirm availability of a part I wanted to pick up. I live 1 hour and 30 minutes away, so I wanted to confirm before making the trip. They assured me the part was available, so I went on my way to pick it up. Once I get there, it turns out the part was never in stock. Yup. Sticker price on the car I was in the process of buyin (2012 Accord SE) was $24,445 (see picture I included to this). Price the sales person came to the table with? -- $26,998.00. Where did they get this from? Not sure... To start with, I must say the sales person (Rafael) was great. Unfortunately, from then on, it all went downhill. The price difference, I was told was "an honest mistake" but their financing, pricing, etc, was still being based on the higher price (NOT ON THE STICKER). Jason, the "manager" did not manage to manage himself very well. He basically said "Honda does not want your business". It was rather unfortunate to hear that, especially from a company that is competing with Ford, Toyota and other brands that are basically offering the same features, cars, etc. Jason, the manager, said "even if I give you the price you saw on the sticker, which is a mistake (he clarified), you cannot afford it. The service department here tries to overcharge for things that cost half the price to be fixed elsewhere. If you bring an old car here, they will basically tell you the car needs an entire new part to fix your issue. I took my car here due to a fan intermittently still running after I turn the car off. I was quoted $800+ to fix that ( along with other over priced service recommendations). I quickly paid my diagnostic fee, and then took my car to an honest mechanic I was able to find after searching yelp reviews - Jap Tech on Pines Blvd in Pembroke pines. Jap Tech fixed my issue for $130! They have much better customer service, very honest and reasonably priced!!! Highly recommend!! If I could rate rick case negative stars, I would! Rick Case can get it I had an awesome buying experience with Reymer "Ray" Ramero. He was there at 9 am to greet me and test drive a 17 Cadillac XTS. I left for work and we talked numbers during the day. I came back after work to buy the car. He worked an excellent deal and matched the price Cadillac was going to give for my trade. They also returned my rental car for me and got me a lower interest rate than I was able to get for myself. Ray is a genuine and dedicated guy and I really enjoyed working with him. I've bought 3 Caddys and he is hands down the best sales guy I've ever had. They included a 10 year/10K mile powertrain warranty at no cost and they have a discount gas station inside the dealership. It's a car dealer, what more can I say? They swarm in when you aren't even all the way out of your car to irritate you with a thousand questions. Let me look around FFS! Had to wait over AN HOUR to test drive the car model I was looking at. They said it was being taken off the truck as it had JUST ARRIVED and they needed to get the plastic off. Review of repair center: My repair manager was awesome. When my vintage honda had issues, he went above and beyond. Repair estimate was very high, he researched to save money, kept me in the loop, I felt confident with the repair center here that I would send any work in the future. Keep in mind, Honda America lied to me about TSB for the particular issue and actually called me a lier and laughed at me for reading stuff on internet (*well, as it turned out Honda America settled class action). With such lack of customer service at Honda America, I was ready to ditch Japanese brand and Buy (real) American car, but the Rick Case repair center also called Honda America for me and got even negotiated for repair fund. At the end, Honda America is just another brand and they aren't there to serve consumers, it's the dealer and crevice center that serves consumers, with all the negative review of this dealer, so far I feel lucky that I met some good folks working here and try their best to retain business. read more

Worst dealership ever. They try to bait and switch. I spoke with someone in Internet Sales when I was on the Sawgrass near the mall. I asked if she had and Honda Accord hybrid Touring editions on the lot. She said they had 4 of them and they were both available so I continued to the dealership. I arrived within 10 minutes and was greeted at the door by some who immediately wanted the key for my trade. Another salesman told me they haven't had any Accord touring editions in a couple weeks but he would check. He proceeded to tell me to consider the base model. 15 minutes later he came back and said all the ones they had were just sold. I find it hard to believe that four cars with an MSRP of $40k were sold in 10 minutes, especially when the woman on the phone told me she went out and visually looked for them. How did she put her eyes on 4 cars and then they were sold within 10 minutes? Maybe it did happen but this also happened at the Rick Case Volkswagen and Rick Case Hyundai in Plantation. This is obviously a common business practice of the Rick Case dealerships.   Also, they quote you a price on the phone and when you get there, all the cars have had a "Paint Protection Package" added that increases the price by $2000. Yesterday, I had one of the worst experiences I've had dealing with businesses at Rick Case Honda in Davie, Florida. I arrived at Rick Case Honda in Davie, Florida, and Antonio Briceno received me, and after I checked the car I wanted, we went to the office to get the numbers. Antonio started by asking me about my work and how much I make a month. I asked what he needed this information for, and he told me that it was for financing. I asked him why he was working on a financing application when I didn't even know the car's final price yet? He told me that he needed this information for the bank to give me my final price. Then, he said to me that he needed to do a soft pull of my credit to have an idea of my monthly payment to give me the final price of the car and that this would not affect my credit. I told him that I did not want to do any of this before getting the car's final price, including taxes and fees. I also told him that he was the one selling the car and that he should know the cost of the vehicle and the fees that the dealership charges. Then, I told him that I already qualified for Capital One's financing, which I am using to pay for the car. He insisted that he still needed to do a soft pull of my credit to give me the price of that car. I should have left at that point, but I started to believe that he would do a soft pull of my credit, which would not affect my credit. When he came back, he had the most comprehensive report of my credit that I have ever seen, and for the first time, he had a piece of paper that had the car's base price with no taxes and fees, though. I started arguing that only a hard inquiry can give him my credit report with that much information. He first acted confused, then acted as if I agreed to this, but when I reminded him of how many times he had reassured me that he would only do a soft pull, he started telling me that he only did a soft pull. I could see it on his face that he did that on purpose, and he was still telling me that it was a soft pull that gave him that much information. While we were arguing about that, I received an email about the hard inquiry from my credit monitoring system. 2 minutes later, I received another email from Experian alerting me about the hard inquiry. I showed him all of them, and he still said he only did a soft pull of my credit. Concerning the piece of paper with the car's base price, it was the actual sticker price, with $2400 more than the price I saw online. That paper also included a range of monthly payments that the bank could qualify me for based on my credit. Really? After I made it clear that I was going to use Capital One's financing. I asked him why the price was $2400 more than the online's price, and that is when he told me that the higher price includes the pre-owned certification. Why would you list the car online as certified pre-owned and not list it with the certified pre-owned price? The answer is to bait customers. The base price of the 2019 used Honda Civic Sport, with 30500 miles, was $2795 more than its base price when it came out in 2018, brand new. I could not believe that what I did not want to happen to me at the sketchy dealerships down in Miami just happened to me at Rick Case Honda. As I am writing this, I still don't know the final cost of the car, but Antonio already pulled my credit to get me a monthly payment range, although I told him that I would use Capital One's financing. At this point, I doubt there is any car dealer with integrity here in South Florida. Antonio had no shame; he saw nothing wrong with what he did or he did not care. He did not care about how that would affect my credit, even after telling him that I was working on improving my credit. He did not care that I already had my own payment method and that I may not even get the car, which had a misleading price that I did not even know about before he pulled my credit. Called main Number got message that service manager was on vacation until following Monday. It offered dialing 0 to reach operator. Then it said transfer couldn't be completed. Called main number operator asked for name of service advisor and promptly transferred me to the recorded message. Called operator back and told her not to transfer to the same number because it was a recording she gave me major attitude and said he was the service advisor. He'd have to speak to me. She interrupted repeatedly and told me to stop talking. Finally paged him and spoke to him. Took 4 phone calls and 10 minutes just to see if the car was ready for pick up! read more

I was ready to buy a brand new Civic. The website stated that the cost of the car would be MSRP + a few hundred dollar processing fee and Tax title. After going back and forth with the salesman and wasting my time when they finally presented the out to door price it was about $8000.00 more than they quoted me initially. Obviously the first quote was really just to get me in the dealership. I hate the dishonesty and the whole dog and pony show. This was my second Rick Case experience with a dealer, and I will say, the experience I had at Rick Case Acura was amazing. So I went to Honda, expecting the same... and I have just been sorely disappointed with everything that has happened at Rick Case Honda. I went in last June for service and ended up looking at a new vehicle. I had a 2017 Honda that I owned and, my mistake, entertained the sales reps discussion about trading up to a newer one. We ran the numbers and to buy again, it was more than I was comfortable with, and leasing rarely makes sense for me. So he starts talking about how there is a third option "lease purchase" that was not a straight lease, and I guess shame on me for believing him, that there was such a thing, because at the end of the day, I was in a lease, without quite realizing it and actually lost 12K in equity thanks to his straight-up lies, "whatever it takes to do the deal" I guess?. It was unscrupulous to say the least of him to make up information. But wait, there is more. One of the items on the "We Owe" was to do ceramic clear on the windshield, 0% tint, just for the heat blocking. After the deal was done and signed the manager then said, oh we can't do that, sorry about your luck (this was after he also tried to undo other things we had already agreed to). The sales rep said he would figure out how to make it happen, and now for the last 8 months has been telling me the check is coming any day now... BS obviously. Strike 2 as clearly integrity is REALLY not a strong skill for them. I emailed the email on their website about this 2 months ago... You guessed it, zero response. So fast forward to this month, I go ahead and talk to my bank about buying out the lease and we actually work it out to a really good plan, all I need is an odometer statement from Honda. So I call Rick Case and try to figure out how to make that happen. After the initially snarky guy on the phone finally let me explain what I needed, he said, oh no problem come on it we can take care of that. Come to this part of the dealership. So in I go, to that part. And then I wait. It took 20 minutes for someone to even acknowledge me and then it was a wild goose chase. First guy, mad I guess that I was not there to buy a car from him, said oh you have to have the salesperson you bought the car from do it. Um no, I am never dealing with his lies again. So then he sends me to a vague location and says I have to talk to a finance guy to do it. Finance guy has clients in with him, tells me to come back later (I can only assume to try to get the loan). I said no, that did not work for me, so finally he says go over to that building. So over I go, and THANKFULLY, finally, someone was able to help me with a smile. I honestly don't know if my experience that was good was the anomaly or if this was, right now, based on it happening over and over again, my money is on the good experience being the anomaly. They have a large waiting room with comfortable chairs and a tv, so there are plenty of ways to distract yourself. Here is a breakdown: Oil change at different Honda Dealer. 34.95 Tire Rotation at different Honda Dealer. 21.95. Fuel additive (not asked for) Brake fluid flush (Owners manual statesid no indicator light illuminates to change every 36 months. Multipoint inspection is free per Service Mgr. $241.95. I asked the Service mgr why the brake fluid was changed on a vehicle with 20,000 miles and a year and a half old .... he told me brake fluid was brake fluid and to google it! I related I follow the owners manual and mfg recommendations. I ask the service mgr to add up above amounts $56.90 and where did the other $180.00 come from? There was no answer other than "you had a lot done". RICK CASE HONDA....SHAME ON YOUR BUSINESS PRACTICES !!!!! I am no longer a customer of yours. read more

We brought our car into the collision center in late October and we are still trying ti get it fixed. They returned the car after 3 weeks and they had replaced headlights and fog lights that were not damaged with what they called "junkyard parts". Both fenders were not aligned and one of the lights was full of water. The collision service person told us that they use damaged parts because the insurance companies don't pay, that is totally not true our insurance company told us they would pay for any needed repairs and the shops are told "never" use damaged parts. I bought a Hyundai venue 2020 in November 2021 from this dealer, and I noticed that on the second day of handling the car the ignition didn't start up right away. I asked the sales associate to switch the car for me for another one because I didn't feel secure in this car, but he was reluctant and told me NO. After 6 months of driving the car I had to take the hyundai to a hyundai dealer for tranmission replacement. It is a horrible experience to have a bought a lemon car . HOWEVER I am rating the Express Service & I have to say that if you really do not need to go here, then do NOT go here for a repair or a service. I went in for an oil change & I wanted the lowest rate possible, as anyone would want. I looked up their coupons & saw that they price match certain services & repairs. I had asked the woman that was in the section where you check out about it. She was not very helpful & told me to ask my specialist. So I walked over to my specialist & asked her if it would apply. Yet it didn't & I continued to ask the cashier but nothing, no one helped. As time passed by, almost an hour had passed & I stepped outside because it was too cold & saw that my car was there, ready to go. My car was sitting there for almost 10 minutes before the called me. I would want to believe it was 10 minutes because if it was longer, that is not very fair. When I entered back, a woman was being checked out & had the same specialist I did. I really hope she wasn't waiting for her car to be finished in order for me to receive my car. Now here is the best part! As I was about to check out & that my specialist had already walked away, I was being checked out by a woman who's name I do not know because I saw NO name tag on. This is the same woman that didn't know the details for the coupon. She asked for my name to look for my papers & the keys & they were not there. So she called the specialist & asked where my keys were but she had gone to the bathroom. I asked if my keys were there again in case she skipped one & I even described one of my keychains to her. Yet I waited around 4 minutes more to have my specialist come out of the bathroom to explain that the keys were in fact there but she could not find it because MY car was under a different name. Therefore the paperwork was under a different name. Mind you, I bought my car, new. & I just love that the cashier asked if I wanted to change it to my name. Not trying to sound sarcastic but I mean who would want their car under someone else's name? No one. Even if it is only for their system use. Then to top it all off, she handed me my keys on top of two sheets of paper. If you made the connection, keys on top of two sheets of paper bring the paper down & your keys might fall if you don't grab it with two hands. Yet I was trying to put my card in my wallet at the same time she handed me my keys on top of the paper. I pry myself on excellent customer service, therefore I expect the same in return. I am very upset with the Express Service & I honestly expected better because of the great service I got when purchasing my car. Honda Odyssey 60000 mile service Rear brake change ,rear shock absorber...... 1250 usd. Stay away. Review update . 30 days ago we brought in the Honda Odyssey. Now 80000 miles. The engine light was on . They looked into it and said Some warranties so they will open up the engine and update upgrade many things. Cost to me was about 1100usd. They did it . But when they release the car , next day the starter was making a funny noise. They took the car again and changed the starter. While I was waiting , i had the appraised for trade in. After we received the car ,we sold it and got a new car elsewhere. Today after almost 30 days they are calling us for 100 usd , for the appraisal ....stay away from Rick case. For the last 5 years they charged us almost $8000.00 and the last call for the 100 appraisal made me post this review read more

Crooks. $1600 AC issue quote and made the issue worse. Quoted this and offered an employee discount to get the service done there. Took it to another place to find out there was no leak or part needed and just needed a better freeze on. Only took it there because if it was a particular part, Honda offered a warranty on it. Avoid at all costs. read more
