Since then I have had faulty bolts in my car, a damaged microphone for the phone system and a faulty battery. Brand new right? Every time I go to fix and issue I am perceived as crazy until they find out it is a legitimate issue. Now again my battery is dead within a year of them replacing the first faulty battery. I was told it is because we live in FL and extreme weather could cause it. Extreme weather or another faulty battery they choose not to replace. I received multiple calls and texts to see if I was going to come and when I was going to come to see the car. 30 minute drive, to find out that the car has been sold for many months and they didn't take the time as sales associates to verify that the car was on the lot. I came in to drop off my car two days in a row. The first day, I was told a repair covered under extended warranty wasn't covered and would cost me $175 just to investigate, not even repair. When I called the sales department, I was told in no uncertain terms that my repair would be covered under the extended warranty. I called back the service department immediately to make an appointment for the following day and requested to talk to a manager. I was told a manager would call me back as one was not available at the moment. I have yet to receive a call back. Day two I come in to drop off my car. Today I am told only express service and oil changes are done today. When I ask why I was told my repair could be done today when I gave specific details about my repair when making my second appointment, they repeated only express service could be provided. Now I have to bring my car back a third time for a simple repair that could have been fixed on my first visit. If you are looking for a car from Honda, please visit any other dealership. They wouldn't quote me a price over the phone despite my desire to do everything over the phone, purchase order, finance and all paperwork needed to just walk in sign and get keys. He said a manager would call me back. They did and told me to come in and give me the best deal. I go in and Rodger Dodger a supposed General Sales Manager quoted me one price and persisted on getting what I considered was a fair deal. He then must of forgotten the price he quoted because he preceded to raise the price. If didn't have a degree in accounting to counter the backflips Rodger Dodger would throw at me, I probably would have bought the car. Place is the largest Honda dealer for a reason. My experience with OTHER used car dealerships left me dejected and distrustful, but Rick Case Used Car sales has changed your mind! Rey was our salesman. He was kind, patient and trustworthy. This was a car for my 19 year old daughter who was in a terrible car accident. He was responsive to her questions and did not sideline her. Everyone from the cashier to the sales manager were friendly and helpful even though it was past closing time. I have had an issue with my Bluetooth in my car and they cannot do anything about it. I have been having problems with it since the first year I got my car in 2016. I love my car, but I've had an issue since day one and they cannot resolve it. I'm going to make another appointment, just so they can tell me that they can't do anything about it. Also the customer service there is terrible. My mom and I were walking around for 30 minutes last time I had an oil change because nobody knew where I was supposed to go!! I as so excited to purchase my new car, and decided to go to Rick Case Honda being that my parents purchased a car from them before. Not only that but I thought that the name Rick Case held some integrity. Well boy was I WRONG. I went in and got a quote on a vehicle and went back another day so that I could bring the money. When I returned I wanted specifics on the color and accessories. The finance manager Rodney advised at first that he would be able to get me the ideal car that I desire if I purchased it right then and there. I too a few minutes to think about it and then he said "Okay if you do it now I will upgrade you to a higher model for the same price as the original one I wanted". Well I thought that was a great deal, that was until I went home and noticed that he charged me over $2,000 more than the original one I wanted. When I went back in the morning to speak with him, the once kind Finance Manger became a rude and obnoxious jerk. He loud talked me right in from of the dealership and told me what he was doing me a favor. When I told him that I just got off the phone with the original finance guy and he agreed that was not the price we agreed on, he told me " Well he lied to you". Wow talk about a slap in the face. In the end he agreed to give me a $500.00 refund, but I still ended up paying $1500.00 more than I agree on and wanted to. Will never go back to Rick Case Honda. Alert! Warning! Scare tactics used in service department. I brought my 2016 RDX 43k in for an oil change. The SALES advisor pointed out that I needed a tire rotation based on some wear on the outside wall of my 3 month old tires. I hadn't noticed a pull but went ahead and agreed to the rotation. After inspecting the car the SALES advisor came to consult with me. According to him I needed a brake system flush, a coolant system flush. Additionally, he said the computer showed I needed a fuel system service. My car was driving well and has been meticulously maintained by a Acura mechanic not associated with Rick Case-no history in their computer. He told me not doing the fuel service was like playing Russian Roulette. The engine could explode at anytime-much like the timing belt slipping and destroying the engine. Yeah, no. I took the vehicle to my mechanic. They inspected the car and hooked it up to the computer and surprise -NOT! There is nothing wrong with my vehicle. Nothing! I've bought two vehicles from this dealer. They will no longer get any business from me! You have been warned! Do not ever buy a car at this dealer; all they do is scam. I was a good customer for this dealer for approximately 10+years and every time I went to buy a car, I left with too. I thought there were loyal, but it was unto 2018 they demonstrated and I discover what they do to customers. If you buy a car from this place, make sure you triple TWICE the contract you are signing !! I had this experience where I signed with a 4% interest and they sent to the bank a contract with 7.5% !!!! plus the brand new 2018 Honda Odyssey EXL-Nav-Ent. I was paying monthly with this high interest started to give me serious problems to the point the car was dissembled completely and after this, the car wasn't the same, kept the same problem: the audio system/Ent was not working properly. I did the process of Lemon law and their advice was to traded in, at the same dealer!! Of course I was going to be way "up side down" !!! I recently bought a car from Rick Case from Soco - great experience from A-Z. She is great and her after-sales service was thorough - she made sure everything was just right with a minor issue we encountered on a CPO Pilot. Maria in service was very helpful and the car is running very nicely. Fast forward to our first service appointment today. I arrived at the express service lane and was immediately greeted by Karen. She was friendly, courteous and efficient - even holding the door for me. Next up, service star Waldo Curtis as my service advisor. He worked magic and got my car in/out quicker than initially quoted - overdelivering is a major plus! With the wifi and work desk area, I was able to stay working until after the car was ready without any problem. Grabbed a cafecito and pastelitos at the little coffee shop and I'll probably get my hair cut at the in-house barber shop next time - Waldo had a sharp cut so I know the barber is legit. I drove up from Miami and will continue to do so for service like this. I just got off a Toyota lease and my service experience at a major Miami Toyota dealer was always off somehow - despite the free Toyota Care. The worst experience I've ever had at car dealership. I took it there for a recall and routine oil change/tire rotation. I made the appointment because they needed to order the parts for the recall....well I get there and they don't have the parts. I specifically waited 2 weeks before this appointment so that they had enough time to order the parts. Then they tell me they don't top off fluids or rotate tires that need to be changed (meanwhile, my tires are fine and were trying up sale me). I would never recommend this place to anyone. They refused to talk numbers until I test drove a vehicle that was significantly outside my disclosed budget. I'm 2017 we leased a Honda Accord Hybrid from Rafeal D. In March of 2021 we decided to look at CRV Hybrid and was convinced to purchase our Accord. Went to finance dept to buy car for buy out price plus rest of lease for around 22500. Our minds must have not been working. We were told for this more a month you can get protection coverage for exterior, interior, tire and wheels, and 10year/ 100,000 miles warranty on pretty much everything else mechanical and electrical. Payment was acceptable. Told needed gap insurance too, which should have been my first red flag! Electronically signed everything and I asked for hard paperwork copies but was told flash drive was easy and could always print out, as it was very late we agreed. I never did until recently as I started to think about it. Printed out and was amazed at what I saw! The 22500.00 car was almost 30k with all these added warranties and Absurd dealer fees!! Our bad! Last month brought car in for service and needed to use the tire and wheels warranty. Was told I had to pay for the repair and would be reimbursed by VAS warranty company! Four weeks later no check, called VAS and told different story. Didn't need to pay at all!! We had also submitted claim for driver seat leather wearing color off that was denied because normal wear and tear!! Not what was explained to us when bought warranty at all! Had a long conversation with VAS warranty company representative that was very helpful and explained warranty completely! Nothing like we were told at all. Warranty for interior and exterior is for environmental protection from sun, acid rain, etc! Really!! Would never have bought it knowing that!! Requested numerous times with Rafeal Davila and got nothing but the runaround and false promises! Needless to say we will never buy another car from any Rick Case dealership! We love the car and we will have to because we are so upside down because the finance person was only interested in his after sell commissions. I have a safety recall I made an appointment and was told the part would be there on Wednesday. When I arrive on Thursday morning I was informed that there was no part for my car, they had many cars the day before for the recall, and a four hour procedure would take two days. I just bought a used car a few days ago, there were two things that I found less than honest. 1. After negotiating a price, the contract presented had the original price, not the negotiated price. 2. After all the paperwork was signed they handed over a single key, telling me that was all they had. I found out a spare key costs over $200, then found out after I ordered it that to program it was an additional $134. I should have been told this up front by the sales person that I would have these costs just to have a spare key. I should also haven been advised about the additional programming fee when I ordered the very expensive fob from the parts person. The used car manager did waive the programming fee, however I'm stuck with the replacement fob cost. Honesty and full disclosure are very important when making such a large purchase, and I don't feel like this dealership has that. That began a never-ending crusade on their part to try to get me in to there showroom WHILE NEVER ACTUALLY DISCLOSING THE PRICE. After finally going in because "their policy is to not give prices over the phone or in emails" they quoted me a price that was a couple of thousand dollars ABOVE the sticker price. When I asked them how the hell they could quote a price ABOVE sticker when every other dealer was below sticker their response was "but you get all of the benefits of our big dealership." I took my vehicle in for a oil change on Sunday, October 13. I scheduled an appointment for 11am. The express service entrance was blocked by service trucks that were performing maintenance on the building. After driving around and speaking to one of the new car salesman, he directed me to an alternate entrance. Once checked in, I went to the customer lounge to wait for my car to be serviced. The service advisor came in with my elements. She said both filters were in horrible condition and needed to be changed. I advised her that I just changed them 7000 miles ago. I have to wonder where the filthy filters came from. She also advised that I needed an alignment, engine coolant changed, and to replace my automatic transmission fluid. Since my vehicle is equipped with Maintenance Minder, I asked the service advisor if my Maintenance Minder recommended the coolant and ATF changes. She said "No, but your car is getting close to 30,000 miles." What a joke. She was just trying to take advantage of me and get me to agree to another $300 in charges. I really look forward to getting the call from Honda North America customer service. I will give them honest feedback on my experience with Rick Case Honda's express service department. I will try not to make this review too long. I bought my car from this place. I was very happy with my experience here. I am very happy with my car. They would have originally gotten a 5 star rating in my book. Reason being, they paid for my gas to travel the distance to check out the car, they gave me the best price, the extended warranty, the facility was incredible, the salesman was helpful and informative, and the finance guy was helpful and hilarious. Why the deduction of the 2 stars you might ask? Two weeks later, I call the salesman to ask if he can fax my bill of sale to my insurance company. Apparently my insurance company had already asked them once with no success. The salesman IMMEDIATELY asked, "why did you give me four out of five stars on the survey?" I ask, " what survey?" Apparently my husband had received a phone survey. He gave the experience 4 out of 5 stars. Well, for the salesman this was UTTER failure. He was semi unprofessional with me on the phone while asking about the survey. He told me he would call me back in a minute to answer my question about the insurance. la dee da dee da.....I waited. He never called me back. Guess who he did call though? My husband. My husband said the guy harassed him about the 4 out of 5 star rating, implying that he royally screwed him over. My husband was floored. He said the guy was completely unprofessional. By the way, he never faxed my insurance company the bill of sale. I had to go there in person and handle it myself. read more

I have leased 5 vehicles here and recently referred 2 friends - but I still am leaning more towards a "Meh" - 2.5-ish stars review for Rick Case Honda. There is clearly a focus on customer service that is drilled in to the organization (surveys, surveys, surveys). Lots of smiling faces - and hungry sales folks eager to help (get your business). On the service (oil change/repair) side, I have no complaints. This end of the business runs like clock work and they have their service protocols down to a science. On the sales side - not so much. All of my experiences on the sales side at Rick Case have left me - well, utterly exhausted. It may have to do with the fact that I only come here during big promo/sales events - so the place is usually very busy. But still- no excuses. You are supposed to be busy if you are the best. The actual sales transaction is what it is - you have to be an educated consumer - bottom line. I've had smart, helpful sales people, and a few lack luster ones. At the end of the day, I believe I got a fair deal - good car, good price. Once you leave the sales desk however, the rest of the customer experience falls apart. You wait forever to go through the paperwork- and it is very rushed. There are also too many people, it seems. I didn't know who was taking care of me after my sales guy left the scene. After negotiating a car purchase, the customer usually just wants to get the hell out of there- like me, so I find myself signing away - paper after paper - without much discussion. The finance guys are nice but seem very over worked - trying to keep up with the volume. They also don't seem to have all of the info from the sales guy. The hand off from sale to close needs to be better. My most recent experience resulted in an extra mileage charge on previous lease getting lost in the shuffle. About a month after ending a lease and buying a new one - Honda Finance (separate entity) came looking for what was owed for mileage on the previous car. It took a few weeks to sort it out and I was NOT happy. No one on the phone at Rick Case knew what to do with me or the situation and my poor sales guy was kind of at a loss -- or probably figured out something got messed up and didn't know how to resolve it. In the end, I turned in to the unhappy customer from hell. The GM of sales finally got involved and figured things out and eventually did the right thing - made sure I was not left holding the bag - or paying a dime. It took a long time - and a lot of energy and nagging on my part - which I did not appreciate, so the positive resolution was nothing to really celebrate. Long story short- Rick Case does have good deals. They do try their best to differentiate by providing the superior customer service- but they fall short. At the end of the day, they are a car dealership. The service, on-demand economy has not quite figured out how to simplify a new car purchase or lease transaction/experience- but it's only a matter of time (and I can't wait). When my leases are up, I am going to shop around a lot more before coming back to Rick Case. read more
