We were amazed at the technology he utilizes to make sure the bite and the facial structure are all precise. Our children's smiles look fabulous, thanks to Dr. Jow's precision and attention to detail. Our oldest two are out of braces now, and the youngest is just starting his orthodontic journey with Dr. Jow. Back when we needed to choose an orthodontist for our first child, it was a process to interview and speak with several doctors to get their opinions and price estimates. I was surprised to hear the varied suggestions from different orthodontists when it came to treating my daughter's teeth. I figured everyone would have a similar protocol, but each one gave a slightly different recommendation with a different price tag. After visiting some orthodontist offices, I was starting to wonder if my payments would be going toward funding the expensive decor and cappuccino-makers in the waiting room! We eventually selected Dr. Jow for our orthodontic needs because his suggestions for straightening my daughter's teeth seemed reasonable and would not require extra procedures that seemed unnecessary; his honesty came through in his personal demeanor; and the cost involved was fair. Now that we've been patients of Dr. Jow for a few years, we are so happy with our decision! Over the course of the years, we have become very familiar with Dr. Jow and the office staff. The kids love checking themselves in at the computer and participating in the monthly "guessing game" on the counter. I've always appreciated the excellent communication the office has with our pediatric dentist Dr. Simon Morris, regarding x-rays and updates. YES, I too am that pleased with Dr. Jow and his wonderful staff!! Every kind word spoken by everyone preceding my post holds true here. Here are my stories... More than ten years ago Dr. Jow was recommended for my daughter's Ortho needs. The only negative I can say... my daughter racing me to the 3rd floor to get to his office. (she only won because she has longer legs and skipped steps) Everyone was so kind to her. They made her feel important by giving her the responsibility to check in and taking care for her teeth. She couldn't wait for the next visit to see if she won a game or what the next one would be. She did win once and was thrilled to have her picture taken for the wall-of-fame. Her teeth were crowd & bottom (front) teeth were crooked with no room for wisdoms. The only extreme issue was to bring down what she deemed to be her "snaggle tooth". The consultation was in depth and Dr. Jow's demeanor was nothing short of TRUST. I will never forget the day she got her braces... proud as a peacock in PINK braces and set the tone for the next visit & color change month after month. As each month passed he would assure both of us and the improvements were quick & noticeable. Two years later she emerged with a gorgeous smile. Fast forward (I'm sure you can sympathize from a financial stance) she turned 18 (invincible) and did not heed Dr. Jow's request for NIGHTLY retainers. Thankfully they did not reverse to an extreme of needing braces again, but she does live with regret. I spoke with Dr. Jow and he said there is a good chance he could tweak her retainers to force the teeth back in place and would be cheaper than getting braces or invisalign, but she moved out of state before he could see her. (I told her I want to be reimbursed) I have never liked my teeth and thought it was time to see what Dr. Jow could do for me. Many years have passed since I last saw him, but Dr. Jow & staff are still amazing! The attention to detail from consultation to actual care (and kindness from all in his office) continues to be top notch! NEWS FLASH.... YOU NO LONGER HAVE TO RUN UP 3-FLIGHTS OF STAIRS TO GET TO DR. JOW!! He's now on the first floor. =D I HATED eating in front of others, because of how crooked my teeth were and the many places food would get stuck. My top front teeth had too much spacing, I had all four wisdoms and crooked bottom teeth (with a small mouth) making flossing even worse. Because of a "turned tooth" no one wanted to recommend invisalign, so I had to jump into the deep end and get braces. Honestly, getting the "spacers" was the WORST of it all. (I even apologized to my daughter for putting her thru that pain!) BUT, weeks into having the braces it was all worth it. I could see MAJOR improvement on my bottom front teeth. I'm in month 3 (of a 2 year plan) and AMAZED at what Dr. Jow has done. My daughter says.... He's a magician mom. HE IS!! Even with the braces the food is NOT getting stuck in those places anymore. LOL, only above the top gum line, because of the braces. At first, I didn't understand what he was doing with that "turned" tooth, but now I do; and, can see improvement. Side note... a friend (in another state) has the same "turned tooth" and was told not to waste money on braces, because it will never turn. HA, that's because she doesn't have a magician!! I spent my life hiding my smile because of my teeth. Even though they are covered in braces I can't help smiling and I have Dr. Jow to thank! In both instances, my insurance did not help with payment. Wasn't a problem, because they have a "no interest" payment plan I used for my daughter's work. For mine, they had a discounting plan (full payment) that I took advantage of. Don't give it another thought or wait another minute.... the kindness this office extends to its clients and genuine concern for giving you the best treatment possible for a forever smile is their goal. read more

We love Dr. Jow, his staff and his office. My children and I are patients and every time we go to his office, it's a great experience. Dr. Jow takes the time to explain our progress in a way that keeps us motivated and on schedule. His knowledge and experience allows me to trust his judgement, but if I have questions about our treatment, he is always happy to answer them. His staff is friendly, efficient and professional. They keeps things running smoothly and we are always greeted with a smile. The office is very clean and comfortable. After each patient, they wipe down the chair and the work station. The office has a great atmosphere with an open treatment room that invites conversation between staff, patient and Dr. Jow. There is a place for parents to sit during treatment and adjustments, so Dr. Jow can communicate as he's working. And since he is the only Dr. there, you will always be seen by him. We live about 20 minutes from Dr. Jow's office, but a trip once every 6 weeks is worth the drive. We will be moving and will then be about 45 minutes away, but we will continue to go to Dr. Jow because he, his staff and his office are worth it to us. read more

Both my boys just completed their orthodontics with Dr. Jow. We will miss him and his staff terribly. They have become like family to us thru all the years and visits: They squeezed us in for emergency appointments when one son knocked his wire out. They rushed a set of retainers for the older one going off to college.. All in all, our experience has been nothing but great. Dr. Jow and his staff have been treating my daughter for one year now. She had a tricky situation since two of her permanent teeth never developed. Dr. Jow went over our options and took time to answer our questions. We are seeing the gaps close quickly and are very pleased with the progression of treatment. Appointment times are almost always available to fit our schedule. Upon arrival, my daughter checks in on a computer. There is always a fun contest for the kids such as guessing how many jelly beans are in the jar. Every appointment has been on time so there is no waiting. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. Our family has had a great experience with Dr. Jow. My oldest just got his braces off, my second is half way through, and the third will get braces within 6 months. Dr. Jow's office is the best run medical office I have ever experienced. The kids rarely wait, and are done quickly. If one of the kids gets a new device implementation (for example, an expander), Dr. Jow always calls and checks for soreness or other issues. Very Best, truly a gem. Not only in results, but also in experience. Both my sons were referred to Dr.Jow by my dentist, Dr Jeff Ching. I had hopes about the changes that could be achieved, I'm very pleased he exceeded all of them! That's what an enthusiastic, capable orthodontist can do. Additionally, I found him, his assistant and his office staff (Paula and Maureen) very friendly, gentle, efficient, supportive and accommodating. That turned out to be a huge plus, since there's so many appointments over the years, some of which are going to be late, rescheduled, or extra appointments that need to be squeezed in.
