It was 9pm on a Friday night and we were 750 miles from home. I was short on ideas on how to go about getting it repaired on a weekend in an area that we were unfamiliar with, but luckily we were only a few miles away from Rick Keffer Dodge. I left a voice mail for the service department, and by the time we checked in to the hotel I had my message returned by Billy Skipper. It was 11pm on Friday night, and he told me that he could get our car in the shop first thing in the morning! I brought the car by in the morning and they had us back on the road by 10am! I can't thank these guys enough for going above and beyond and turning our misfortune in to a minor bump in the road. Outstanding customer service!

Today, my son called me from the side of the road and told me that the car started smoking through the vents and all of the lights on the dash were on. He opened the hood, and there wasn't any kind of smoke, but the car would not start. I instructed him to call the tow truck that came with our warranty that I purchased through my credit union. Then, I called Amelia Auto Mart to let them know the tow would be coming there so they weren't surprised. The surprise was on me! Brandon went TO my son (about 10 miles away--something like that), drove my son to school so he wouldn't be any later, checked the car and noticed some hoses had come out of place, fixed them, test drove the car, and parked it in a safe parking lot close by for my son to get later. He then called me to tell me all was well. I am beyond grateful that he went above the call of duty and ensured my son's safety. My guess is that the hoses came out of place on a very Dukes of Hazzard like jump that you have to go over when you cross the main road (A1A). Dang construction... I thought nothing could surprise me about this wonderful company until today.

We did have an oil leak we fixed by tightening up the oil filter (couldn't get any easier than that), but that's par for the course with any used car. You have to expect things like that or worse. ...but they couldn't be happier. Anyway, thank you very much, they Love the car and will probably still be trying to figure out all the snazzy new fandangled buttons a year or two from now. Excellence in used car buying here.

It took me several visits and some browsing on the Carmax website. I found the car that checked all my boxes and it was close enough to Jax that shipping was free!! Once it arrived I test drove it, and again there was no pressure to buy. Robert was very knowledgeable and so patient with all my questions! I decided to purchase the 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe and ended up trading in my 2016 Kia Sorrento (wasn't planning on that but they gave me a fair value) There are no hidden fees, or any "bait & switch" like most dealers do! There is a dealer fee, but it's not a huge mark-up, considered the car meets their stringent standards and they are a business, so profit is not unreasonable. Overall the process was streamlined and straightforward. I didn't have any issues with my purchase, and I would definitely recommend checking them out if you're looking for a pre-owned vehicle.
