HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND OVERALL 6 MONTH EXPERIENCE. REGRETFULLY got a policy with this office for 2 vehicles and a home. Put my policy on AUTO BILL PAY THREE (3) times and they always send me a letter and email saying that they will cancel when no other company on auto bill pay has issues processing payments with my account. When I told her that this was my THIRD time in 6 months calling in for the SAME ISSUE she became EXTREMELY LOUD and began talking over me not letting me get a single word in. I've NEVER had to give my CC info to a company so many times so they CAN TAKE MY MONEY!!! SAVE yourself the HEADACHE and DO NOT give RICK SANCHEZ or ANY of his offices your business!!! Was a StateFarm customer for over a decade in New York and California and would have remained with them had it not been for this office. You won't speak to Rick, if he even exists. You'll talk to several ladies who (1) won't ever return your calls or emails, and (2) don't know what products StateFarm even offers. First, I was promised a call back from Elsa V. Almost two weeks later, no call. I reached out to her and she apologized profusely and acknowledged that she was supposed to call but was so busy. Fine, I get it. It's the holidays. We're all short staffed. NBD. She asks me for certain documents. I give them to her within 30 minutes. She promises me a quote in 1-2 days. Several days later, still nothing. I email her telling her she has until a certain date to send me the quote. Nothing. Not even an email back. While StateFarm has a great auto package, their customer service sucks. Good luck trying to get an agent to help you when you need it if their own sales people can't be bothered to get customers. read more

I had given this office a better review, however after 5 months of agony dealing with these people I want to say it is without a doubt the worst business place ever! I don't know if it's State Farm or the office in Boca Raton, but every month they increase my fix rates with excuses they don't even understand. They point fingers at each other. Never a decent explanation. They take days in answering a simple email. They tell you they will fix it, you think they will but oh surprise, they hit you with a new charge. I call and email again and again, they apologize intensely but the problem does not go away, it keeps growing. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF FROM FRUSTRATION AND DO NOT CHOOSE THIS PLACE! I had state farm for 5 years.. I used the 800 number to make payments and an agent tells me I must've been late for a payment and it's fine he will take care of it... guess what? They refund me the money and don't take care of it.. then I get a notice from flhsmv that my license is gonna be revoked unless I switch to a policy.. I went back to statefarm and got on another policy and again paid what the agent said my rate would be.. then underwriting changes it.. the agency told me once I got a policy I had nothing to worry about regarding driving.. I asked her if my license is ok and she said no worries it's taken care of.. then I get a notice I'm kicked off of statefarm.. lies upon lies upon lies... they should be sued because they take zero accountability for their representatives mess ups.. I call them every month to make payments! I switched policies but this company has zero loyalty to customers and doing the right thing!! I never took a dime from statefarm and excellent driving record!! The call I made to State Farm routed me to this agency in Miami. The agent, Yamilie, took my information, but made mistake after mistake in formulating my quote. Called the next day , no Yamilie. I received someone else. It seems Yamilie crammed a life insurance policy into my quote without me authorizing it. Nevertheless, the other rep took the life policy out but a $50 mistake (month , year, who knows?) raised my rate. Nevertheless, I paid them my hard earned money to get the policy going. At the agency, the 'girls'(THEY DON'T DESERVE TO BE CALLED WOMEN)working there couldnt be bothered sending via email my insurance cards, so I had to login to a site and search and search and search for the cards. Today, 3 days after initiating my policy, I get a call from one of the Miami girls stating that they are canceling my policy because THEIR computer didnt catch a ticket I received more than a year ago from a cop because I rolled through a stop sign with no traffic going 5 mph. Thus, she advised me that Im not State Farm material. I was HOWEVER when they took my money that they do not refund at that agency level, but have to wait and wait and wait for it. I have a strange feeling that these fraudsters write policies, get credit for writing the policy knowing that the driver will not be accepted, and then call the policy holder that they are being dropped.I dont know when I'll be receiving the $ I put down for this policy back. Also, I think everyone should know that for all intents and purposes, Rick Sanchez does not exist. He knows(or at least I hope so) that I am upset and very irate that his inexperienced group of girls do all the business at both the Miami and the Boca location. So for all I know, Rick Sanchez doesnt exist. IF YOU WANT PERSONAL ATTENTION FROM RICK SANCHEZ, YOU CAN FORGET IT. THE GIRLS AT HIS AGENCY WOULD NOT PROVIDE ME A VALID EMAIL ADDRESS FOR RICK SANCHEZ. This is by far the worst agency I've ever experienced. There is zero customer service, zero security, zero anything. I would only recommend them if you want to pay more, be placed on hold for hours, never speak to a human being and feel like an insignificant asshole in their long list of oblivious customers. I had an extremely urgent matter and even put in a very urgent call and email to Rick Sanchez himself. Never received an answer. Goes to show you how much he cares about his clients and his business. Needless to say, I'm now with a different insurance company where I pay half of what I paid with State Farm. Trust me, there is something much better out there. read more

They don't return phone calls in timely manner, there's a Yvonne there who could care less of the mistakes she makes and plenty poor communication to go around. I originally thought that my State Farm office back in New York was bad. I mean, their claims department asked me to do some of their work for them - it blew my mind. The claim remained open and just sat around for a year. But now I realize that it's all of State Farm, not just a localized office problem. When I first arrived in FL and therefore this office, they were pretty accommodating. Adriana was the manager and she was great. But over the past year they have went through more office staff than a restaurant goes through waitresses. You'd think that any emails from that employee would get handled by another upon their departure, right? Nope. It's like the place doesn't have any management whatsoever. It's a mess. They "accidentally" canceled my insurance policy in January. Didn't find out until February. Then I found out in March that they secretly raised my rates, significantly. Enough was enough. I dealt with about 6 employees, including management, in about a month. I got passed around like a hot potato. I was promised to be contacted back and followed up with every time. Not once was this done. Rick Sanchez? I don't know who this guy is. There's no way to contact him. I scraped the web but it's like the guy doesn't even exist. He has gate keepers that just have diarrhea of the mouth. That's all they do - talk. Talk and talk. Never to follow through. Always another excuse. Delay after delay. I contacted this office twice yesterday, via phone and email, to cancel my policy as I am now with Geico saving about $1200 a year. No response. Called again today at around 2pm; they must have been at a holiday party celebrating Easter early. Left a message and never heard back. Oh but let's get in touch with corporate, I'm sure they will help, right? Nope. Classic State Farm. They entertained me on their Facebook page chat for a message or two, then took to ignoring me. State Farm joins the ranks of companies that lost my business in the past 12 months due to their utter disregard for anyone who is not a new customer. I really hate bad experiences. I don't enjoy negative reviews. I wish I could say this review is exaggerated... It's not. When I write a one star review, I do so with honesty, and do so to caution any potential customers; they have the right to hear about these experiences. As for Mr Sanchez, he needs to either learn how to manage a business and take care of his customers, or he needs to be shut down.
