First off, the store looks and smells amazing. We came in for some simple birthday cupcakes and though there were none in the case, they were kind enough to whip up a batch while we waited. Also, appreciated the Mardi Gras display and rack of King Cakes. Fun for a Louisianaiana to see in Fayetteville. Took home some really cute and super reasonable Mardi Gras ornaments.

Wow, what a huge selection of desserts are offered here at Rick's Bakery! It took us some time to narrow down our choices, and the staff patiently waited while we decided. Everything we chose was so good. The pumpkin petit four was my favorite. It's a good thing I don't live here in Fayetteville because I would probably come here everyday until I had tried everything! The facility is huge. They have several places to sit and enjoy your selections. They also have made to order cakes, a wedding area, party goods for sale, and apparently, they offer cake decorating classes. They have some upcoming fall themed classes that looked fun. No doubt about it, we will be back!

We love Rick's sweet treats. Their cooks are not only adorable, they are delicious. They are as close to Harold's Bakery in our small town. These cookies are nostalgic! The apple fritters are huge and I mean HUGE! The counter help are so sweet and helpful. The bakery also does all kinds of specialty cakes. They even have a large gift section. This is a place to get all your hosting Razorback needs.

An ESSENTIAL Fayetteville stop, delicious everything. Beautiful ambience, lots of murals, cozy but spacious and friendly service.

So happy with the way this birthday cake turned out! I used the online ordering system and this came out even better than I was expecting. They do such a great job!

We used Rick's for our wedding cake and it was 10000/10! It was absolutely perfect and exactly what we had imagined for our cake. Abigail was very kind and helpful throughout the process and made sure everything was perfect! We will always use Rick's for all of our special occasions!

We had an Italian Cream birthday cake made for my mother. It was beautiful and delicious!

This place is pretty awesome. You can stop reading right now - and start driving to Rick's. All of their desserts hit the mark on looks, moistness and overall balance of flavor. Now, there's a minor dispute in our extended family....that Shelby Lynn's in Springdale, is better than Rick's? One person in our extended family (which will go unnamed)....Carrie's the torch for Shelby Lynn's. Well, I can settle this one pretty quick: our extended family member is oblivious to what quality surgery delights are. When this person tells me "Oh, this place is better and a lot cheaper".... I can already see, this family members jade skews her judgement. Plus, this family member is the (only one) to think such crazy thoughts... Rick's is a great place. Even a place that (you) can watch them making.decorating cakes thru the glass. Give it a shot...you'll love it!

    Strawberry petit fours

Got some desserts yesterday and let me tell you! Everything was delicious. I am in town visiting my sister. I'm a baker and cake decorator based in Los Angeles. The staff greeted us as we walked in and a young man attended to us. He was knowledgeable about the different items we asked about and super polite. My favorite things by far were the cookies and peach fritter! They also had this adorable petit fours that had a piped razorback head super freaking cute and well done. I'm a stickler for neatness so seeing how neatly piped that lil head was just thrilled me lol

    Wedding Cake!!

Me and my now wife ordered our Wedding Cake and the Groom's Cake from Rick's Bakery! They knocked both cakes out of the park!! Both cakes were beyond amazing!!!

This is my favorite stop when I'm near the college! The petit fours are always excellent- this time I picked up vanilla & strawberry that were decorated to celebrate the 4th of July Additionally, I always receive friendly service- I'm proud to support such a wonderful local business!

I had studied an older menu on here when deciding where to eat, and had decided on the Euro Veggie. When I went in and ordered though she said they were out of sprouts. I took a look at the menu and panicked because it was different and it's a walk up to the counter and order place. There was no one behind me so I should have taken my time but I had told her when I walked up that it was my first visit in and she didn't say anything and then just stared impatiently at me as I reviewed the menu so I did feel rushed. I should have stuck with my first choice minus the sprouts but honestly they were what drew me to that sandwich so I switched to the Spinach & Basil Pesto instead. I don't order many sandwiches out because it's so easy to make a good one at home and I do eat meat but am usually drawn to a veggie or something that's different enough to make ordering a sandwich out worth it. The fresh pesto with tomato and cheese sounded good, but I did not notice in my haste to order that it was grilled. It's 103 degrees outside, thus my reason for wanting a sandwich, a cold one, in the first place. Strike one, but sorta my fault. Then the tomatoes were pale and flavorless and it's prime tomato season right now. Strike two. And the spinach & basil pesto only faintly hinted at any basil and it was in dire need of salt and some garlic or something to give it some flavor. Strike three. So I'm sure by now you got the point that I did not care for that sandwich at all. Moving on...the sandwich was served with a pickle, ruffles potato chips and an oatmeal cookie. The pickle was fine. Vlasic type. I would rather have a crisp kosher refrigerator pickle, and would serve that if it were my restaurant. So on to the chips. Ruffles? Seriously can they not spring for a better potato chip? There were other reviews on here with Boulder kettle chips so I guess I assumed there would be a choice. And the cookie. I think they are baked in house and I generally love oatmeal cookies but they need a new recipe. I had to take a few bites before I was even sure what kind of cookie it was so I guess I'll just leave that to tell you how unimpressive it was. So yeah. All in all a very boring, lackluster lunch from a place where I just felt nobody cared. I make a point of supporting small businesses because I have had them myself and I know how hard it is. But someone could have run to the store for a package or two of sprouts. She told me the shipment wouldn't be in until tomorrow so it was a conscious recession to go without. Maybe my sandwich would have been amazing and enough to overlook the pickle, chips and cookie. Probably not, because the same management that went without sprouts, serve awful tomatoes during tomato season and are ok with that lousy pesto are also making the Euro Veggie sandwich decisions. Unfortunately nothing in the place stood out to me and the food wasn't up to par. Oh, and I did buy a loaf of sourdough on my way out, because I have gorgeous farm stand tomatoes and basil from my mother-in-law at home. If home had been close enough for lunch that's where I woulda had my sandwich. If the bread is anything to write home about I will update this review!
